Abstract

Métodos para preparar isomaltooligosacáridos (“IMOs”) a partir de un sustrato de hidratos de carbono y sus usos. En la presencia de una enzima maltogénica y precursores adicionales de IMO, una invertasa de Aspergillus sp., tiene la capacidad de producir IMOs a partir de una lechada de almidón. La capacidad de la invertasa de funcionar como una enzima transglucosidasa provee un mecanismo simultáneo para la sacarificación de IMO.
