Abstract

Un inhalador de polvo seco para uso pulmonar o nasal, que emplea cápsulas (323) con una dosis de polvo para la inhalacion, que comprende dos componentes operativos y una cubierta opcional. El aire es extraído por el paciente a través de una boquilla o protector nasal (303) en comunicacion con la cápsula (323) y viaja por pasajes de aire a través del dispositivo y de la cápsula (323) dispersando así y arrastrando la dosis de polvo. La cápsula (323) es cortada por los medios de corte (350, 351) que se encuentran en uno de los componentes (300), de manera tal que elimina o minimiza los desechos de la cápsula y minimizas filtraciones de polvo durante el uso. El cuerpo del inhalador (300) y aspas de corte de la cápsula (350, 351) comprenden un solo componente operativo y podrán ser fabricados en un solo paso unitario. La solicitud incluye un dispositivo simple y economico para el suministro de medicinas pulmonares.
