Abstract

Conversion de una unidad de hilera de cabezal maicero para cosechar tallos de maíz además de mazorcas. Un cabezal maicero convencional comprende unidades de hilera lado a lado, que incluyen, cada una, un bastidor que soporta un par de cadenas recolectoras para guiar los tallos de maíz hacia los rodillos alimentadores que operan para arrancar las mazorcas de los tallos, que permanecen vinculados al suelo.
