Abstract

Un metodo para aumentar y/o preservar los rendimientos y/o la biomasa en especies de cultivo que incluyen papas, remolachas, cana de azucar, maiz, soja y otras, mediante la aplicacion exogena de Trehalosa y/o derivados de la Trehalosa, en cualquier momento en el proceso de crecimiento, tal como antes de la siembra del cultivo, durante la siembra o durante el establecimiento de la planta. El metodo, cuando se aplica tempranamente en la produccion de cultivos mejora la salud y el vigor de la planta madre, dando como resultado un producto mas saludable habiendo reducido los azucares de la planta madre
