Abstract
Un método para asignar un pluralidad de procesos de solicitud de repeticion automática híbrida (H ARQ) en una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU) para soportar transmisiones de datos de enlace ascendente mejorado (EU), método que comprende: recibir parámetros de configuracion para operacion de EU, los parámetros de configuracion incluyen una prioridad asociada con cada control de acceso a medios para flujo de canal dedicado (MAC-d) o canal logico, y un numero máximo de transmisiones H-ARQ asociadas con cada flujo de MAC-d o canal logico; seleccionar datos para transmision en un canal dedicado mejorado (E-DCH) en base a la prioridad de flujo de MAC-d o canal logico, mediante un control de acceso a medios para canal dedicado mejorado (MAC-e); bajo la condicion de que los datos seleccionados son datos que fueron previamente transmitidos, retransmitir los datos seleccionados usando el mismo proceso H-ARQ que fue usado para transmitir previamente los datos seleccionados; bajo la condicion de que los datos seleccionados son datos nuevos que no fueron previamente transmitidos, y que existe un proceso H-ARQ disponible, asignar un proceso H-ARQ disponible para soportar la transmision de los datos seleccionados y transmitir los datos seleccionados usando el proceso H-ARQ asignado; y en donde la retransmision se limita al numero máximo de transmisiones H-ARQ asociadas con el flujo de MAC-d o canal logico a partir de los cuales los datos para transmision son seleccionados. También se divulga una unidad inalámbrica de transmision y recepcion (WTRU) configurada para asignar una pluralidad de procesos de solicitud de repeticion automática híbrida (H ARQ) para soportar transmisiones de enlace ascendente (EU) que emplea el método.
