Abstract

Se revelan composiciones farmaceuticas que contienen una droga antibiotico de fluoroquinolona. Presentan homogeneidad mejorada, biodisponibilidad mejorada, menor turbidez o una combinacion de los mismos. Puede utilizarse como composiciones oticas o nasales, pero son particularmente de utilidad como composiciones oft lmicas. Reivindicacion 1: Una composicion farmaceutica acuosa, que comprende: droga antibiotico de fluoroquinolona; un veh¡culo farmaceutico para la droga antibiotico, incluyendo el veh¡culo farmaceutico lo siguiente: i. cloruro de sodio en una cantidad que proporcione una relacion peso/volumen de cloruro de sodio a la droga fluoroquinolona que se encuentra entre 0,8 y 2,0; ii. un tensioactivo que ayude en la distribucion uniforme de la droga fluoroquinolona por todo el veh¡culo farmaceutico; iii. un sistema antimicrobiana complejo de borato/poliol; y iv. un agente potenciador de viscosidad de polisac rido. Reicindicacion 7: Una composicion de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 4 donde la moxifloxacina es moxifloxacina HCL. Reivindicacion 11: Una composicion de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-10 donde la composicion tiene un pH de 6,8 a 7,4.
