Abstract
La presente se refiere, en general, a lentes intraoculares (LlO) acomodativos que exhiben una aberracion esférica dinámica en funcion de la potencia acomodativa. A modo de ejemplo, en un aspecto, la presente proporciona una lente intraocular (LIO) que tiene un elemento optico anterior, un elemento optico posterior, y un mecanismo para acoplar los elementos anterior y posterior de modo de permitir el movimiento axial de dichos elementos relacionados entre sí para proporcionar acomodacion cuando la lente se implanta en un ojo de un paciente. Cada uno de los elementos anterior y posterior incluye por lo menos una superficie asférica, donde las asfericidades de las superficies se adaptan para proporcionar una aberracion esférica combinada que varía con la acomodacion.
