Description
本発明のいくつかの実施例によるデュアル要素の調節性IOLの例示用の仮想的な設計の光学性能を個別の球面設計のもの及び球面収差を低減した設計のものと理論的に比較した。
なお、本出願は、2008年2月7日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/026,939号に対する優先権を米国特許法第119条に基づいて主張するものである。
Claims (16)
- 調節パワーの関数として動的な球面収差を示す調節性眼内レンズ(IOL)であって、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する前部光学要素と、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する後部光学要素と、
前記前部光学要素と前記後部光学要素とを結合する機構であって、前記眼内レンズが患者の眼の内部に埋植された際に調節を提供するべく、前記IOLが埋植される眼の自然な調整力に応答して互いに対する前記要素の軸方向の運動を許容し、前記調節が遠見視力から近見視力に変化するのに伴って、0mm〜2mmの範囲において前記前部光学要素と前記後部光学要素との間の軸方向の離隔を調整するようになっている機構と、
を有し、
前記前部要素及び後部要素の前記非球面表面は、調節に伴って変化する合成球面収差を提供するようになっており、
前記合成球面収差は、前記眼の調節状態が遠見視力に適切な状態から近見視力に適切な状態に変化するのに伴って、+0.20μm〜−0.50μmの範囲において、正の値から負の値に変化する、IOL。 - 前記IOLは、遠見視力について、負の球面収差を示し、前記収差は、増大する調節の関数として減少する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記要素の中の少なくとも1つの要素の前記非球面表面は、−20〜−60の範囲内の円錐定数kを特徴とする非球面性を示す、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記前部光学要素の前記非球面表面は、前記前部光学要素の前面又は後面のいずれかに対応する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記後部光学要素の前記非球面表面は、前記後部光学要素の前面又は後面のいずれかに対応する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記前部光学要素は、6〜40ジオプトリーの範囲内の屈折力を提供する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記後部光学要素は、−30〜−3ジオプトリーの範囲内の屈折力を提供する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 前記前部光学要素及び後部光学要素は、生体適合性材料から形成される、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 少なくとも1つの前記光学要素は、円環状面を具備する、請求項1記載のIOL。
- 調節パワーの関数として動的な球面収差を示す調節性眼内レンズ(IOL)であって、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する前部光学要素と、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する後部光学要素と、
前記前部光学要素と前記後部光学要素とを結合する機構であって、前記眼内レンズが患者の眼の内部に埋植された際に調節を提供するべく、前記IOLが埋植される眼の自然な調整力に応答して互いに対する前記要素の軸方向の運動を許容し、前記調節が遠見視力から近見視力に変化するのに伴って、0mm〜2mmの範囲において前記前部光学要素と前記後部光学要素との間の軸方向の離隔を調整するようになっている機構と、
を有し、
前記前部光学要素及び後部光学要素の非球面表面は、前記レンズが患者の眼の内部に埋植された際に瞳孔サイズの関数として変化する合成球面収差を提供するようになっており、
前記合成球面収差は、前記眼の調節状態が遠見視力に適切な状態から近見視力に適切な状態に変化するのに伴って、+0.20μm〜−0.50μmの範囲において、正の値から負の値に変化する、IOL。 - 前記合成球面収差は、1.5mm未満の瞳孔サイズについて負である、請求項10記載のIOL。
- 前記合成球面収差は、6mm以上の瞳孔サイズについて正である、請求項10記載のIOL。
- 前記前部光学要素は、6〜40ジオプトリーの範囲内の単焦点屈折力を提供する、請求項10記載のIOL。
- 前記後部光学要素は、−30〜−3ジオプトリーの範囲内の単焦点屈折力を提供する、請求項10記載のIOL。
- 調節パワーの関数として動的な球面収差を示す調節性眼内レンズ(IOL)であって、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する前部光学部と、
少なくとも1つの非球面表面を具備する後部光学部と、
前記眼内レンズが患者の眼の内部に埋植された際に調節を提供するべく、前記IOLが埋植された眼の自然な調節力に応答して互いに対する前記光学部の軸方向の運動を生成するように、前記前部光学部を前記後部光学部に結合する機構であって、前記調節が遠見視力から近見視力に変化するのに伴って、0mm〜2mmの範囲において前記前部光学部と前記後部光学部との間の軸方向の離隔を調整するようになっている機構と、
前記光学部の中の1つの光学部の少なくとも1つの表面上に配設された回折構造と、
を有し、
前記前部光学部及び後部光学部の非球面表面は、調節に伴って変化する合成球面収差を提供するようになっており、
前記非球面表面は、前記IOLが前記光学部間の増大する軸方向の離隔の関数として減少する球面収差を示すようになっており、
前記合成球面収差は、前記眼の調節状態が遠見視力に適切な状態から近見視力に適切な状態に変化するのに伴って、+0.20μm〜−0.50μmの範囲において、正の値から負の値に変化する、調節性IOL。 - 前記球面収差は、増大する調節の関数としての負の傾きを特徴とする変化を示す、請求項1に記載のIOL。
