Description
Claims (23)
- 近視力、中視力、及び遠視力をまとめて提供するように、互いに関連して適合し且つ配置された少なくとも2つの異なる回折パターンを持つ表面を有するオプティクを備えており、
前記回折パターンの内の一方は3焦点パターンを有し、他方の回折パターンは2焦点パターンを有することを特徴とする多焦点眼用レンズ。 - 前記2焦点パターンはアポダイズされたステップ高さを示す請求項1記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記3焦点パターンは、前記2焦点パターンよりも前記オプティクの光学軸に対して近くに配置されている請求項1記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 少なくとも1つの2焦点回折パターン及び少なくとも1つの3焦点回折パターンを持つ表面を有するオプティクを備えており、
前記2焦点パターンは近視力及び遠視力を提供するように適合しており、前記3焦点パターンは近視力、遠視力及び中視力を提供するように適合している、ことを特徴とする多焦点眼用レンズ。 - 前記表面が、前記遠視力に対応する屈折焦点を提供するように適合したベース参照曲面によって特徴づけられている請求項4記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記回折パターンが、回折構造を実質的に欠いている前記表面の周辺部分によって取り囲まれた前記表面の一部分内に配置されている請求項4記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記回折パターンが、前記オプティックの光学軸の周りに対称に配置された1つ又は複数の環状の回折構造を有している請求項6記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記3焦点回折パターンを有する前記環状の回折構造が、前記2焦点回折パターンを有する前記環状の回折構造よりも前記光学軸に対して近くに配置されている請求項7記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記3焦点回折パターンを有する前記環状の回折ゾーンが、前記光学軸から、1mmから1.5mmの範囲にある開口サイズに対応する半径まで延びる請求項8記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記2焦点回折パターンが前記3焦点回折パターンを環状に取り囲む請求項9記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記2焦点の環状の回折構造が、前記光学軸からの増加する距離の関数として、それらの境界において減少するステップ高さを示す請求項10記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記減少するステップ高さが、選択されたアポダイゼーション関数によって特徴付けられる請求項11記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記3焦点回折パターンが1つ又は複数の実質的に4角形状のステップを有しており、前記2焦点回折パターンが1つ又は複数の実質的に鋸歯形状のステップを有している請求項4記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記3焦点回折パターンは近焦点、遠焦点及び中焦点を提供し、前記3焦点の近焦点及び遠焦点それぞれが、前記2焦点パターンの近焦点及び遠焦点と実質的に一致している請求項4記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記近焦点、中焦点及び遠焦点それぞれが、前記近視力、中視力及び遠視力と実質的に一致している請求項15記載の多焦点眼用レンズ。
- ベース曲面によって特徴付けられる少なくとも1つの表面を持つオプティックと、
前記オプティックに配置された少なくとも2つの環状の回折パターンであって、前記パターンの内の一方は主として3つの焦点を提供し、他方のパターンは、前記一方のパターンの焦点と関連しているエネルギー分布と前記他方のパターンのエネルギー分布との組み合わせが近視力、中視力及び遠視力を提供することをもたらすような主として2つの焦点を提供する、2つの環状の回折パターンと、
を備えている3焦点眼用レンズ。 - 前記ベース曲面が前記遠視力に対応する屈折能力を提供する請求項17記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記回折パターンは、回折構造を欠いている前記オプティックの周辺部分によって取り囲まれている請求項17記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
- 3つの焦点を提供する前記回折パターンは、2つの焦点を提供する前記回折パターンよりも、前記オプティックの光学軸に対して近くに配置されている請求項19記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
- 3つの焦点を提供する前記回折パターンは、前記オプティックの光学軸から、その軸からの第1の距離まで延びる複数の環状の回折ゾーンを有している請求項19記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
- 2つの焦点を提供する前記回折パターンは、前記第1の距離から、前記オプティックの半径よりも小さい第2の距離まで延びる複数の環状の回折ゾーンを有している請求項21記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
- 前記ベース曲面は球面収差を低減するように非球面である請求項17記載の3焦点眼用レンズ。
