Abstract

La presente se refiere a una alfombra de césped artificial con un lomo y una cantidad de briznas de hierba artificial unidas a él y sobresaliendo de su superficie perpendicularmente. La hierba artificial muestra un corte irregular y las briznas tienen un diámetro más estrecho en ciertos puntos de su longitud. Gracias a este estrechamiento del diámetro cerca del extremo libre de las briznas de hierba artificial, el césped parece muy natural y presenta unas propiedades muy parecidas a un campo de hierba natural. Se refiere también al método para elaborar una alfombra de césped artificial, así como a la configuracion sobre la que se puede aplicar ese método. El diámetro puede estrecharse entrelazando las briznas de hierba artificial. Antes, durante o después de este entretejido se pueden plastificar las briznas calentándolas, por ejemplo, en puntos localizados.
