Abstract
Plantas transgénicas que tienen en su genoma ADN que incluye un gen exogeno que codifica un polipéptido y que tiene en su region 3' no traducida una secuencia desestabilizante, por lo cual el polipéptido se expresa en un nivel menor en las semillas de las plantas transgénicas en relacion con la expresion en ausencia de la secuencia desestabilizante. También se revelan métodos para la disminucion post-trnscripcional de la estabilidad del mensaje de un gen de interés en una planta que involucran la adicion de una secuencia desestabilizante a la region 3' no traducida del gen de interés.
