Abstract

Referido a una planta del genero cannabis, caracterizada porque comprende un contenido total de cannabinoides; un primer cannabinoide que comprende mas del 10% del contenido total de cannabinoides en peso seco; un segundo cannabinoide que comprende menos del 10% del contenido total de cannabinoide en peso seco; y material genetico modificado dentro de un genoma de la planta del genero cannabis. Tambien se refiere a un metodo para controlar la sintesis de cannabinoides. Este metodo comprende la manipulacion de la ruta biosintetica de los cannabinoides para producir plantas del genero cannabis con proporciones y concentraciones de cannabinoides no naturales.
