Abstract
Paneles cementicios livianos, reforzados con fibras, de una tenacidad excepcional para ser usados como elementos de construccion para usos tales como elementos para techado, elementos para revestimiento externo, elementos para bastidores y cubiertas y para elementos subyacentes en la colocacion de terminaciones para pisos en edificios residenciales y otros tipos de construccion edilicia. Los paneles utilizan una fase continua que resulta del curado de una lechada acuosa de aglomerante inorgánico, fibras APV y agregado liviano. El aglomerante inorgánico puede ser, por ejemplo, cemento hidráulico solo, o una combinacion de cemento hidráulico y una o varias puzolanas o una combinacion de cemento hidráulico, alfa hemihidrato, puzolana activa y optativamente cal. Las fibras APV refuerzan la fase continua y están distribuidos en forma aleatoria a través del compuesto. Los paneles típicos de la presente tienen una densidad de 60 a 85 pcf. Reivindicacion 1: Un panel liviano y reforzado, caracterizado porque es dimensionalmente estable, con una densidad de 60-85 pcf (961-1360 k/m3) y porque comprende: una fase continua que resulta del curado de una mezcla acuosa de polvos reactivos, estos ultimos en estado seco y consistentes en un 35 a 70% en peso en polvo reactivo, un 20 a 50% en peso en agregado liviano, un 0 a 20% en peso en fibras de vidrio y un 0,5 a 5,0% del paso en fibras APV, siendo la fase continua reforzada con fibras APV y teniendo un agregado liviano con un peso específico por partícula de 0,02 a 1,00 y un rango de diámetro promedio para el tamano de partícula de 10 a 500 micrones, en el cual las fibras APV tienen un diámetro de alrededor de 10 a 400 micrones (micrometros) y un longitud de alrededor de 0,1 a pulgada (2,5 a 25,4 mm) y un modulo elástico de fibra de 20 a 50 GPa.
