Abstract
Un proceso de alquilacion aromática que incluye poner en contacto un compuesto aromático con un agente de alquilacion en presencia de una beta zeolita en una zona de reaccion bajo condiciones de reaccion de alquilacion, en donde dicha beta zeolita es una beta zeolita de alto rendimiento que posee una relacion entre sitios ácidos fuertes y sitios ácidos débiles es mayor que 1. la beta zeolita de alto rendimiento es superior a la beta zeolita convencional en la reaccion de alquilacion de aromáticos, tal como alquilacion de benceno con etileno para la produccion de etilbenceno, y alquilacion de benceno con propileno para la produccion de cumeno.
