Abstract

Se revela un proceso para la alquilacion de aromaticos como olefinas utilizando un lecho catalizador solido que contiene zeolita UZM-8. Se pasa un aromatico polialquilado al lecho del catalizador, para reducir la concentracion de la olefina a condiciones de alquilacion. Una porcion del efluente recuperado del lecho catalizador puede reciclarse al lecho catalizador. Esta operacion puede disminuir la velocidad de desactivacion del catalizador y la formacion de difenilalcanos. El proceso que se revela en la presente es aplicable a procesos para la produccion de una amplia variedad de aromaticos alquilados comercialmente importantes, incluyendo etilbenceno y cumeno.
