Abstract
Aparatos y métodos para mejorar las capacidades de determinación de aberraciones, proporcionar la verificación de la receta correctiva y permitir la corrección de la visión binocular en dispositivos oftálmicos para medir el frente de onda. (1) Se obtienen capacidades mejoradas de determinación de aberraciones por medio de la modificación del haz de entrada, que incluye la detección de una imagen en un frente de onda que emana de un ojo en respuesta a un haz de entrada con un sensor y luego la modificación del haz de entrada con un dispositivo óptico adaptador sobre la base de la información detectada. (2) La verificación de las recetas correctivas incluye la modificación de una imagen con un elemento óptico adaptador para producir una imagen corregida en el ojo del paciente. (3) La corrección de la visión binocular de un par de ojos incluye la medición de las aberraciones de un ojo con un primer dispositivo oftálmico para medir el frente de onda y la medición producida por el otro ojo con un segundo dispositivo oftálmico para medir el frente de onda en forma sustancialmente simultánea.
