Abstract

Un procedimiento de tratamiento térmico de una envuelta de ánodo que tiene una capa de cobre formando su superficie interior, dicho procedimiento comprende: (a) calentar dicha envuelta de ánodo haciendo pasar un gas a una temperatura entre aproximada mente 200 degree C y 700 degree C en contacto con dicha envuelta de ánodo para formar una envuelta de ánodo tratada térmicamente; y (b) enfriar dicha envuelta de ánodo tratada térmicamente. Dicho gas es un gas reductor, el cual puede comprender hidrogeno. El enfria miento de dicha envuelta de ánodo tratada térmicamente puede realizarse a temperatura ambiente. El procedimiento térmico descripto elimina los oxidos en la superficie de dicha capa de cobre, en donde dichos oxidos comprenden oxido de cobre.
