Abstract
La presente se refiere a un catalizador para la purificacion de los gases de escape de motores Diesel, que contiene por lo menos una zeolita así comoadicionalmente por lo menos uno de los oxidos portadores oxido de aluminio, dioxido de silicio, dioxi do de titanio, dioxido de zirconio y silicato de aluminioasí como sus oxidos mixtos y por lo menos uno de los metales nobles platino, paladio, rodio, iridio, oro y plata. El catalizador está caracterizado porque losátomos de los metales nobles presen tan un grado de oxidacion medio de menos de +2,5, poseyendo por término medio más de 3 ligandos de metal y menos de 3ligandos de oxígeno y encontrándose sobre la zeolita y los oxidos portadores en la forma de cristalitas con un tamano de partícula me dio entre 1 y 6 nm.
