Abstract
Se describen aquí nuevas sintasas y los correspondientes ácidos nucleicos que codifican sintasas. Dichas sintasas posee una bolsa de sitio activo queincluye los residuos amino ácidos primordiales que son modificados para generar los productos e intermediarios de reaccion terpenoides deseados. Lasmodificaciones de las sintasas están disenadas en base a por ejemplo las coordenadas tridimensionales de la 5-epi-aristoloqueno sintasa del tabaco, con o sinsustrato adherido en el sitio activo.
