Abstract

Procedimiento para producir formil-imidazoles de la formula general (1) en la que R1 significa un grupo alquilo, por oxidacion catalítica de hidroxi-metil-imidazoles de la formula general (2) en la que R1 tiene el significado antes dado, enpresencia de un catalizador de metal noble, caracterizado porque laoxidacion catalítica tiene lugar en presencia de un peroxido en un medio alcalino. Los formil-imidazoles son importantes productos intermedios para sustanciasfarmacéuticas.
