Abstract
Se trata de iniciadores de polimerizacion anionicos solidos soportados novedosos que están multiplemente metalados con átomos de metal alcalinosde grupos IA son proporcionados y empleados para reducir polímeros de dieno ramificados de peso molecularextremadamente altos. Los iniciadoresson preparados por medio de metalar una partícula que comprende un polímero termoplástico o un elastomero curado en la presencia de un coordinadorpolar. Los polímeros obtenidos por polimerizacion anionica empleando los iniciadores están multiplemente modificados con una cadena de polímerocovalentemente ligada a la partícula en virtualmente cualquier posicion de metalacion. Los polímeros macroramificados exhiben propiedades deseables,tales como un peso molecular extremadamente altos, una distribucion de peso molecular controlada, un valor de Tg y un contenido de vinilo, y lacapacidad de absorber rápidamente solventes de hidrocarburos y aceites. Específicamente dichos iniciadores tienen la formula : P (Me)n, donde Pes una partícula metalable que tiene un diámetro de aproximadamente 1 micron a 1000 micrones que comprende un polímero termoplástico o unelastomero curado; Me es un átomo de metal alcalino del grupo IA covalentemente ligado a la partícula,y n es un numero entero igual a o mayor a 3.
