Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un inoculante para la fabricacion de fundicion de hierro con grafito laminar compactado o esferoidal. El inoculantecomprende entre 40 y 80%, en peso, de silicio, entre 0,5 y 10% en peso, de calcio y/o estroncio y/obario, entre 0 y 10% de cerio y/o lantanio, entre 0 y 5% enpeso, de magnesio, menos del 5%, en peso, de aluminio entre 0 y 10%, en peso de manganeso y/o titanio y/o circonio, y entre 0,5 y 10%, en peso, de oxígeno enforma de uno o más oxidosmetálico s, entre 0,1 y 10%, en peso, de azufre en forma de uno o más sulfuros metálicos, siendo el resto hierro. La invencion serefiere además a un método para la produccion de inoculante.
