Abstract

Un método para transformar una planta C3 de manera de proveerla con una vía fotosintética C4 por medio de la introduccion de algunos de los genes queparticipan en una vía fotosintética C4. En este caso, el método comprende la introduccion de un gen que codifica para fosfoenolpiruvato carboxilasa(PEPC) y un gen que codifica para un fosfoenolpiruvato carboxiquinasa (PCK) que ha sido conectado a un fragmento de ADN que codifica para un péptido detransporte, en una planta C3.
