Abstract
Provee, inter alia, un método para producir semillas apomícticas, que comprende los pasos de: (i) transformar el material de la planta con unasecuencia de nucleótido que codifica una proteína la presencia de la cual en una célula, omemb rana de la misma, vuelve a dicha célula embriogénica; (ii)regenerar el material así transformado en plantas, o en las partes que contienen el carpelo de las mismas; y (iii) expresar la secuencia en lasproximidades del saco del embrión.La pr oteína puede ser una cinasa del receptor de repetición rico en leucina, el cual está modificado preferiblementehasta el grado de que el dominio de unión del ligando está borrado o inactivado funcionalmente.
