Abstract

La presente se refiere a un método para incrementar la probabilidad de reproduccion vegetativa de una nueva generacion de plantas, mediante la expresiontransgénica de un gen que codifica una proteína que actua en la cascada de transduccion de senalesdesencadenadas por la Cinasa Receptora de EmbriogénesisSomática (SERK). Las semillas apomícticas resultantes de lo mismo, las plantas y la progenie obtenidas a través de la germinacion de estas semillas, y losgenes que codifican proteínas que actuanen la cascada de transduccion de senales desencadenadas por SERK, constituyen asuntos objeto adicionales de lapresente.
