Abstract
Se provee un método mejorado para inyección estirado soplado. En el procedimiento, se inyecta una resina fundida en una cavidad de inyeccióndefinida por un molde de inyección, un molde de labio y un núcleo de inyección para formar una preforma deseada, en donde el tiempo de enfriamiento para estapreforma es reducido positivamente para formar una capa de piel rígida en la superficie exterior de la preforma sin aumentar el espesor. Después de ello esliberada del molde de inyección y transferida a un molde de soplado con una porción de boca sostenida con el molde de labio mientras la capa de pielmantiene la configuración de la preforma y el interior esté en un estado de alta temperatura y es moldeada por estirado soplado aun artículo moldeadohueco, por ejemplo, una botella de la cual la parte principal es ultra delgada en el momento en que una temperatura de superficie de la preforma que se elevadebido a su propia temperatura interior es significativamente mayor queuna temperatura de transición de vidrio (Tg) y se espera que alcance unatemperatura pico. Por ello, es posible permitir moldear un artículo moldeado hueco que tiene un espesor de 0,17 mm o menos sin que sea afectado porlimitaciones de espesorde la preforma y temperatura de moldeado aún en un procedimiento de moldeado en donde la preforma es liberada del molde a unatemperatura elevada y es sometida inmediatamente a moldeado por estirado soplado.
