Abstract

La presente invención provee un concentrado de complejo de yodo estable para utilizar en diversas composiciones antimicrobianas. En consecuencia, lapresente invención provee un concentrado de complejo de yodo que contiene: a) entre aproximadamente 0.5 y 30% por peso de yodo,b) entre aproximadamente 0.2 y14% por peso de un componente seleccionado del grupo formado por sal de yoduro, ácido de yoduro y mezclas de los mismos; y c) entre aproximadamente 2.0 y 85%por peso de un surfactante de azúcar no iónico seleccionado del grupo formado por ésteres de alquilglucosa, aldobionamidas, gluconamidas, gliceramidas,gliceroglicolípidos, amidas de ácido graso polihidroxi, alquilpoliglicosidas con la fórmula general (I) siguiente: R1O(R2O)b(Z)a, donde R1 es un radicalalquilo con entre aproximadamente 8 y 20 átomos de carbono; R2 es un radical alquileno divalente con entre 2 y 4 átomos de carbono, Z es un residuo desacárido reductor con entre 5 ó 6 átomos de carbono, b es un número conun valor de entre 0 y 12; a es un número con un valor de entre 1 y 6 mezclas delos mismos, estando los pesos basados en el peso del concentrado. La presente invención provee también una composición de uso antimicrobiano acuosa quecontiene elconcentrado de complejo de yodo indicado y un diluyente. La presente invención provee también un proceso para limpiar, desinfectar yesterilizar una superficie que comprende el contacto de la superficie en cuestión con la composición deuso antimicrobiano acuosa indicada.
