Description
本発明は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物に関し、詳しくは、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物に関する。
シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体は、優れた耐熱性、耐薬品性、電気特性を有する。そのため、シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体は、自動車部品、食器・食品容器、電気・電子部品等に広く供されている。
例えば、特許文献1には、耐熱性,弾性率に優れ、かつ耐衝撃性および伸び性に優れたシンジオタクチックポリスチレン系樹脂組成物を目的とし、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100重量部および(B)極性基を有するゴム状弾性体1~100重量部からなる耐衝撃性ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物が開示されている。
また、特許文献2には、耐熱性,弾性率及び成形性に優れ、かつ耐衝撃性および伸び性に優れたシンジオタクチックポリスチレン系樹脂組成物を目的とし、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体95.0~99.9重量%と(B)ポリフェニレンエーテル0.1~5.0重量%との混合物100重量部に対し、(C)ゴム状弾性体1~100重量部を配合してなる耐衝撃性ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物が開示されている。
また、特許文献3には、力学的物性、特に剛性,耐熱性を改善することのできる熱可塑性樹脂組成物を目的として、(A)高度のシンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100重量部,(B)無機充填材1~350重量部及び(C)無水マレイン酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテル0.1~3.5重量部からなる熱可塑性樹脂組成物が開示されている。
また、特許文献2には、耐熱性,弾性率及び成形性に優れ、かつ耐衝撃性および伸び性に優れたシンジオタクチックポリスチレン系樹脂組成物を目的とし、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体95.0~99.9重量%と(B)ポリフェニレンエーテル0.1~5.0重量%との混合物100重量部に対し、(C)ゴム状弾性体1~100重量部を配合してなる耐衝撃性ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物が開示されている。
また、特許文献3には、力学的物性、特に剛性,耐熱性を改善することのできる熱可塑性樹脂組成物を目的として、(A)高度のシンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100重量部,(B)無機充填材1~350重量部及び(C)無水マレイン酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテル0.1~3.5重量部からなる熱可塑性樹脂組成物が開示されている。
シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体は、種々の優れた物性を有するものの、成形体の靭性、特に引張破断伸びについて、更なる改良の余地があった。
引用文献1及び2は、ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物にゴム状弾性体を含有させることにより、靭性を向上させることが記載されているが、一方で、ゴム状弾性体を含有したことにより、ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物の弾性が低下する場合があった。
また、引用文献3は、スチレン系重合体に無機充填材及び無水マレイン酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテルを配合することで、剛性及び耐熱性を向上させることが記載されているが、靭性については、更なる改良の余地があった。
本発明は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上され、靭性に優れる、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物を提供することを課題とする。
引用文献1及び2は、ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物にゴム状弾性体を含有させることにより、靭性を向上させることが記載されているが、一方で、ゴム状弾性体を含有したことにより、ポリスチレン系樹脂組成物の弾性が低下する場合があった。
また、引用文献3は、スチレン系重合体に無機充填材及び無水マレイン酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテルを配合することで、剛性及び耐熱性を向上させることが記載されているが、靭性については、更なる改良の余地があった。
本発明は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上され、靭性に優れる、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物を提供することを課題とする。
本発明者らは、鋭意検討の結果、シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体に、官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及び金属化合物を組み合わせたスチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物が、上記課題を解決し得ることを見出した。すなわち、本発明は、以下の[1]~[13]に関する。
[1]スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む、熱可塑性樹脂組成物であって、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物を溶融混練させて得られ、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基が、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であり、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、前記(C)金属化合物の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物。

本発明よれば、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上され、靭性に優れる、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物を提供できる。
[熱可塑性樹脂組成物]
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む、熱可塑性樹脂組成物であって、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物を溶融混練させて得られ、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基が、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であり、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、前記(C)金属化合物の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である。

<スチレン系樹脂組成物>
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含み、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物を溶融混練させて得られる。
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含み、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物を溶融混練させて得られる。
((A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体)
(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体(以下、(A)SPSともいう)は、高度なシンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系樹脂である。本明細書において「シンジオタクチック」とは、隣り合うスチレン単位におけるフェニル環が、重合体ブロックの主鎖によって形成される平面に対して交互に配置(以下において、シンジオタクティシティと記載する)されている割合が高いことを意味する。
タクティシティは、同位体炭素による核磁気共鳴法(13C-NMR法)により定量同定できる。13C-NMR法により、連続する複数の構成単位、例えば連続した2つのモノマーユニットをダイアッド、3つのモノマーユニットをトリアッド、5つのモノマーユニットをペンタッドとしてその存在割合を定量することができる。
(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体(以下、(A)SPSともいう)は、高度なシンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系樹脂である。本明細書において「シンジオタクチック」とは、隣り合うスチレン単位におけるフェニル環が、重合体ブロックの主鎖によって形成される平面に対して交互に配置(以下において、シンジオタクティシティと記載する)されている割合が高いことを意味する。
タクティシティは、同位体炭素による核磁気共鳴法(13C-NMR法)により定量同定できる。13C-NMR法により、連続する複数の構成単位、例えば連続した2つのモノマーユニットをダイアッド、3つのモノマーユニットをトリアッド、5つのモノマーユニットをペンタッドとしてその存在割合を定量することができる。
本発明において、「高度なシンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系樹脂」とは、ラセミダイアッド(r)で通常75モル%以上、好ましくは85モル%以上、又はラセミペンタッド(rrrr)で通常30モル%以上、好ましくは50モル%以上のシンジオタクティシティを有するポリスチレン、ポリ(炭化水素置換スチレン)、ポリ(ハロゲン化スチレン)、ポリ(ハロゲン化アルキルスチレン)、ポリ(アルコキシスチレン)、ポリ(ビニル安息香酸エステル)等のスチレン系重合体、これらの水素化重合体もしくは混合物、又はこれらを主成分とする共重合体を意味する。
ポリ(炭化水素置換スチレン)としては、ポリ(メチルスチレン)、ポリ(エチルスチレン)、ポリ(イソプロピルスチレン)、ポリ(tert-ブチルスチレン)、ポリ(フェニルスチレン)、ポリ(ビニルナフタレン)及びポリ(ビニルスチレン)等を挙げることができる。
ポリ(ハロゲン化スチレン)としては、ポリ(クロロスチレン)、ポリ(ブロモスチレン)及びポリ(フルオロスチレン)等を、ポリ(ハロゲン化アルキルスチレン)としては、ポリ(クロロメチルスチレン)等を挙げることができる。
ポリ(アルコキシスチレン)としては、ポリ(メトキシスチレン)及びポリ(エトキシスチレン)等が挙げられる。
ポリ(ハロゲン化スチレン)としては、ポリ(クロロスチレン)、ポリ(ブロモスチレン)及びポリ(フルオロスチレン)等を、ポリ(ハロゲン化アルキルスチレン)としては、ポリ(クロロメチルスチレン)等を挙げることができる。
ポリ(アルコキシスチレン)としては、ポリ(メトキシスチレン)及びポリ(エトキシスチレン)等が挙げられる。
前記の構成単位を含む共重合体のコモノマー成分としては、前記スチレン系重合体のモノマーの他、エチレン、プロピレン、ブテン、ヘキセン及びオクテン等のオレフィンモノマー;ブタジエン、イソプレン等のジエンモノマー;環状オレフィンモノマー、環状ジエンモノマー、メタクリル酸メチル、無水マレイン酸及びアクリロニトリル等の極性ビニルモノマーが挙げられる。
SPSとして、好適に用いられる共重合体としては、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体、スチレンとp-tert-ブチルスチレンとの共重合体、スチレンとジビニルベンゼンとの共重合体等が挙げられ、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体が好ましい。
SPSとして、好適に用いられる共重合体としては、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体、スチレンとp-tert-ブチルスチレンとの共重合体、スチレンとジビニルベンゼンとの共重合体等が挙げられ、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体が好ましい。
前記(A)SPSの中では、ポリスチレン、ポリ(p-メチルスチレン)、ポリ(m-メチルスチレン)、ポリ(p-tert-ブチルスチレン)、ポリ(p-クロロスチレン)、ポリ(m-クロロスチレン)、ポリ(p-フルオロスチレン)、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、ポリスチレン、ポリ(p-メチルスチレン)、ポリ(m-メチルスチレン)、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体から選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、ポリスチレン、スチレンとp-メチルスチレンとの共重合体が更に好ましく、ポリスチレンが最も好ましい。
(A)SPSのメルトフローレート(MFR)は、温度300℃、荷重1.2kgの条件下で測定を行った場合に、好ましくは3~50g/10分、より好ましくは5~40g/10分、更に好ましくは8~35g/10分である。
(A)SPSのMFRが3g/10分以上であれば、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性に優れ、また、50g/10分以下であれば、熱可塑性樹脂組成物は十分な強度を有する。
(A)SPSのMFRが3g/10分以上であれば、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性に優れ、また、50g/10分以下であれば、熱可塑性樹脂組成物は十分な強度を有する。
(A)SPSの重量平均分子量は、好ましくは10,000~300,000、より好ましくは50,000~290,000、更に好ましくは100,000~280,000、より更に好ましくは150,000~270,000である。(A)SPSの重量平均分子量が10,000以上であれば、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、また、(A)SPSの重量平均分子量が300,000以下であれば、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性を確保しやすい。
本明細書において、重量平均分子量とは、特段の記載がない限り、東ソー株式会社製GPC装置(HLC-8321GPC/HT)、東ソー株式会社製GPCカラム(GMHHR-H(S)HTC/HT)を用い、溶離液として1,2,4-トリクロロベンゼンを用いて145℃でゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー測定法により測定し、標準ポリスチレンの検量線を用いて換算した値である。
SPSの重量平均分子量の調節方法としては、各触媒成分の種類、使用量、重合温度を適宜選択する方法及び水素を導入する方法等が挙げられる。
本明細書において、重量平均分子量とは、特段の記載がない限り、東ソー株式会社製GPC装置(HLC-8321GPC/HT)、東ソー株式会社製GPCカラム(GMHHR-H(S)HTC/HT)を用い、溶離液として1,2,4-トリクロロベンゼンを用いて145℃でゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー測定法により測定し、標準ポリスチレンの検量線を用いて換算した値である。

スチレン系樹脂組成物100質量部中の(A)SPSの配合量は、好ましくは30質量部以上、より好ましくは35~99.5質量部、更に好ましくは45~99質量部、より更に好ましくは45~98.5質量部である。(A)SPSの配合量が上記範囲内であれば、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の機械的特性や耐熱性、耐薬品性がより優れたものとなる。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(A)SPSの配合量は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物中、好ましくは40質量%以上100質量%未満であり、より好ましくは42~90質量%、更に好ましくは45~80質量%、より更に好ましくは45~70質量%である。(A)SPSの配合量が上記範囲内であれば、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の機械的特性や耐熱性、耐薬品性がより優れたものとなる。
(A)SPSは、例えば不活性炭化水素溶媒中又は溶媒の不存在下で、チタン化合物、及び水とトリアルキルアルミニウムの縮合生成物(アルミノキサン)を触媒として、スチレン系単量体(上記スチレン系重合体に対応する単量体)を重合することにより製造することができる(例えば、特開2009-068022号公報)。
((B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル)
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルが配合され、該官能基は、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基である。また、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部である。
本明細書において、「酸及び/又はその誘導体」とは、「酸及びその誘導体の少なくともいずれか」を意味する。すなわち、「酸」、「酸の誘導体」、又は「酸及びその誘導体」を意味する。
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルが配合され、該官能基は、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基である。また、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部である。
本明細書において、「酸及び/又はその誘導体」とは、「酸及びその誘導体の少なくともいずれか」を意味する。すなわち、「酸」、「酸の誘導体」、又は「酸及びその誘導体」を意味する。
熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルが配合されることで、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基と後述の(C)金属化合物の金属イオンとの間でイオン結合及び/又は配位結合が形成されるため、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルがアイオノマー化されると考えられる。その結果、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上されると考えられる。
また、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルは、(A)SPSと他の成分との相溶性を向上させるため、各成分間の界面強度を向上させる。その結果、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性が向上される。
また、本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物が、後述のガラス繊維を含む場合、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基と、ガラス繊維とが反応をするため、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性が向上される。
また、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルは、(A)SPSと他の成分との相溶性を向上させるため、各成分間の界面強度を向上させる。その結果、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性が向上される。
また、本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物が、後述のガラス繊維を含む場合、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基と、ガラス繊維とが反応をするため、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性が向上される。
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、好ましくは0.1~10質量部、より好ましくは0.5~7質量部、更に好ましくは1~5質量部である。
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基は、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基である。該官能基が酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であることで、(A)SPSと他の成分との相溶性が向上されるため、各成分間の界面強度が向上され、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上される。
酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基の、酸及び/又はその誘導体としては、無水マレイン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸エステル、フマル酸エステル、マレイン酸塩、フマル酸塩、アクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル、アクリル酸アミド、アクリル酸塩、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸アミド、メタクリル酸塩及びグリシジルメタクリレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、無水マレイン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸及びグリシジルメタクリレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、フマル酸が更に好ましい。
また、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基としては、酸無水物基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、カルボン酸ハライド基及びカルボン酸アミド基から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、カルボン酸基がより好ましい。
酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基の、酸及び/又はその誘導体としては、無水マレイン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸エステル、フマル酸エステル、マレイン酸塩、フマル酸塩、アクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル、アクリル酸アミド、アクリル酸塩、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸アミド、メタクリル酸塩及びグリシジルメタクリレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、無水マレイン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸及びグリシジルメタクリレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、フマル酸が更に好ましい。
また、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基としては、酸無水物基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、カルボン酸ハライド基及びカルボン酸アミド基から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、カルボン酸基がより好ましい。
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルとしては、フマル酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテル及び無水マレイン酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテルから選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、フマル酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテルがより好ましい。
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの変性率(変性剤含有量)は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、好ましくは0.1~20.0質量%であり、より好ましくは0.2~15.0質量%であり、更に好ましくは0.3~10.0質量%であり、より更に好ましくは0.5~5.0質量%である。
変性ポリフェニレンエーテルの変性率(変性剤含有量)は、JIS K 0070-1992に準拠して測定された中和滴定量によって求めることができる。

(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルは、後述のポリフェニレンエーテルと前記酸及び/又はその誘導体とを反応させることにより、後述のポリフェニレンエーテルを前記酸及び/又はその誘導体で変性させることにより得られる。変性の方法に特に制限はなく、公知の方法を用いることができる。
好ましい変性方法として、溶融変性及び溶液変性が挙げられ、なかでもより高い変性量が得られること、生産性が高いことから、より好ましくは溶融変性である。すなわち、前記変性ポリフェニレンエーテルは、好ましくは溶融変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテル又は溶液変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテルであり、より好ましくは溶融変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテルである。
好ましい変性方法として、溶融変性及び溶液変性が挙げられ、なかでもより高い変性量が得られること、生産性が高いことから、より好ましくは溶融変性である。すなわち、前記変性ポリフェニレンエーテルは、好ましくは溶融変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテル又は溶液変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテルであり、より好ましくは溶融変性によって製造された変性ポリフェニレンエーテルである。
ポリフェニレンエーテルの例としては、ポリ(2,6-ジメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,3-ジメチル-6-エチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-クロロメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-ヒドロキシエチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-n-ブチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-エチル-6-イソプロピル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-エチル-6-n-プロピル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,3,6-トリメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ〔2-(4’-メチルフェニル)-1,4-フェニレンエーテル〕、ポリ(2-ブロモ-6-フェニル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-フェニル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-フェニル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-クロロ-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-クロロ-6-エチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-クロロ-6-ブロモ-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,6-ジ-n-プロピル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-イソプロピル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-クロロ-6-メチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2-メチル-6-エチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,6-ジブロモ-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,6-ジクロロ-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、ポリ(2,6-ジエチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、ポリ(2,6-ジメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)がより好ましい。
溶融変性は、ラジカル発生剤の存在下あるいは不存在下で、ポリフェニレンエーテルと、変性剤とを、溶融混練することにより、変性ポリフェニレンエーテルを得る方法であり、具体的には、ロールミル、バンバリーミキサー、押出機などを用いて150~350℃の範囲の温度において溶融混練して反応させる方法である。
具体的には、ポリフェニレンエーテル、変性剤、及び任意のラジカル発生剤を室温で均一にドライブレンドした後、実質的にポリフェニレンエーテルの混練温度である300~350℃の範囲で溶融反応を行う方法が好ましい。300℃以上であれば、溶融粘度を適切に維持することができ、350℃以下であれば、ポリフェニレンエーテルの分解を抑制することができる。
具体的には、ポリフェニレンエーテル、変性剤、及び任意のラジカル発生剤を室温で均一にドライブレンドした後、実質的にポリフェニレンエーテルの混練温度である300~350℃の範囲で溶融反応を行う方法が好ましい。300℃以上であれば、溶融粘度を適切に維持することができ、350℃以下であれば、ポリフェニレンエーテルの分解を抑制することができる。
溶融変性における変性剤の使用量は、ポリフェニレンエーテル100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.1~22.0質量部であり、より好ましくは0.2~17.0質量部であり、更に好ましくは0.3~12.0質量部であり、より更に好ましくは0.5~7.0質量部である。変性剤の使用量が前記範囲であると、ポリフェニレンエーテルの変性率を向上させつつ溶融変性体に残留する変性剤の量を抑えることができる。
溶融変性に用いられるラジカル発生剤は、半減期1分間を示す温度が300℃以上のものが好ましく、具体的には、例えば2,3-ジメチル-2,3-ジフェニルブタン、2,3-ジエチル-2,3-ジフェニルブタン、2,3-ジエチル-2,3-ジフェニルヘキサン、2,3-ジメチル-2,3-ジ(p-メチルフェニル)ブタン等が挙げられ、なかでも、半減期1分間を示す温度が330℃である2,3-ジメチル-2,3-ジフェニルブタンが好適に用いられる。
ラジカル発生剤の使用割合は、ポリフェニレンエーテル100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.1~3.0質量部、より好ましくは0.5~2.0質量部の範囲で選定される。0.1質量部以上であれば高い変性効果が得られ、3.0質量部以下であれば、効率よくポリフェニレンエーテルを変性することができ、不溶成分も生じにくい。
ラジカル発生剤の使用割合は、ポリフェニレンエーテル100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.1~3.0質量部、より好ましくは0.5~2.0質量部の範囲で選定される。0.1質量部以上であれば高い変性効果が得られ、3.0質量部以下であれば、効率よくポリフェニレンエーテルを変性することができ、不溶成分も生じにくい。
((C)金属化合物)
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(C)金属化合物が配合される。また、(C)金属化合物の配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である。
熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(C)金属化合物が配合されることで、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基と(C)金属化合物の金属イオンとの間でイオン結合、及び/又は配位結合が形成されるため、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルがアイオノマー化されると考えられる。その結果、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上されると考えられる。なお、アイオノマー化が起こることで、分子間での架橋がなされ、得られる組成物の粘度が向上する。アイオノマーは、この現象を確認することでもその生成が推定できる。
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、(C)金属化合物が配合される。また、(C)金属化合物の配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である。
熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(C)金属化合物が配合されることで、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基と(C)金属化合物の金属イオンとの間でイオン結合、及び/又は配位結合が形成されるため、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルがアイオノマー化されると考えられる。その結果、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上されると考えられる。なお、アイオノマー化が起こることで、分子間での架橋がなされ、得られる組成物の粘度が向上する。アイオノマーは、この現象を確認することでもその生成が推定できる。
(C)金属化合物としては、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、金属塩、金属酸化物、金属水酸化物、金属錯体から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、金属塩がより好ましい。また、(C)金属化合物としては、アルカリ金属塩アルカリ土類金属塩及び遷移金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましい。
(C)金属化合物における金属種としては、リチウム、ナトリウム及びカリウム等のアルカリ金属;マグネシウム、カルシウム及びバリウム等のアルカリ土類金属;アルミニウム、亜鉛、コバルト、クロム及び銅などの遷移金属から選ばれる少なくとも1種が挙げられる。これらの中でも、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、ナトリウム、カリウム、マグネシウム、カルシウム及び亜鉛から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、カリウム、マグネシウム及び亜鉛から選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、カリウムが更に好ましい。
(C)金属化合物における金属種としては、リチウム、ナトリウム及びカリウム等のアルカリ金属;マグネシウム、カルシウム及びバリウム等のアルカリ土類金属;アルミニウム、亜鉛、コバルト、クロム及び銅などの遷移金属から選ばれる少なくとも1種が挙げられる。これらの中でも、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、ナトリウム、カリウム、マグネシウム、カルシウム及び亜鉛から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、カリウム、マグネシウム及び亜鉛から選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、カリウムが更に好ましい。
金属塩としては、有機金属塩及び無機金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましい。
有機金属塩としては、上記金属種のギ酸塩、酢酸塩及びステアリン酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、酢酸塩及びステアリン酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、酢酸塩が更に好ましい。
無機金属塩としては、上記金属種の炭酸塩、重炭酸塩及びハロゲン化物塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、炭酸塩がより好ましい。
有機金属塩としては、上記金属種のギ酸塩、酢酸塩及びステアリン酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、酢酸塩及びステアリン酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましく、酢酸塩が更に好ましい。
無機金属塩としては、上記金属種の炭酸塩、重炭酸塩及びハロゲン化物塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、炭酸塩がより好ましい。
(C)金属化合物としては、具体的には、酢酸カリウム、酢酸マグネシウム、酢酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸カリウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛、炭酸カリウム、炭酸水素カリウム及び炭酸マグネシウムから選ばれる少なくとも1種が好ましく、酢酸カリウム、酢酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸カリウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、炭酸カリウム、炭酸水素カリウムから選ばれる少なくとも1種がより好ましい。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(C)金属化合物の配合量は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.001~10質量部、より好ましくは0.003~5質量部、更に好ましくは0.005~2質量部、より更に好ましくは0.01~1質量部である。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの含有量に対する、金属化合物の含有量の質量比[(C)金属化合物/(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル]は、好ましくは0.001~0.50、より好ましくは0.003~0.10、更に好ましくは0.005~0.05、より更に好ましくは0.01~0.025である。質量比[(C)金属化合物/(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル]が0.001以上であることで、アイオノマー化される(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルが多くなるため、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。また、質量比[(C)金属化合物/(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル]が0.50以下であることで、アイオノマー化した(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルが過度になることを防ぎ、溶融流動性低下が抑制され、成形加工性の低下が抑制される。
(その他の成分)
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、上記の成分の他に、本発明の目的を阻害しない範囲で、任意のその他の成分を配合することができる。
その他の成分としては、例えば、結晶核剤、ゴム状弾性体、シリコーンオイル、酸化防止剤、難燃剤、難燃助剤、色剤、架橋剤、架橋助剤、分散剤、可塑剤、防汚剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤及び帯電防止剤等を含むことができる。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、上記の成分の他に、本発明の目的を阻害しない範囲で、任意のその他の成分を配合することができる。
その他の成分としては、例えば、結晶核剤、ゴム状弾性体、シリコーンオイル、酸化防止剤、難燃剤、難燃助剤、色剤、架橋剤、架橋助剤、分散剤、可塑剤、防汚剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤及び帯電防止剤等を含むことができる。
≪結晶核剤≫
本発明の一態様の強化熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、更に結晶核剤が配合されることが好ましい。結晶核剤が配合されることで、結晶化温度を高くでき、結晶化のための温度条件の幅広い設定を可能とし、生産性がより向上される。

結晶核剤としては、好ましくは無機系の結晶化核剤及び有機系の結晶化核剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である。中でも有機系の結晶化核剤が好ましい。
有機系の結晶化核剤としては、例えば、有機カルボン酸アルカリ金属塩、有機カルボン酸アルカリ土類金属塩、リン酸又は亜リン酸の有機化合物及びそれらの金属塩、フタロシアニン誘導体、ソルビトール誘導体などが挙げられる。
更に具体的には、例えば、アルミニウムジ(p-tert-ブチルベンゾエート)、安息香酸のナトリウム塩、p-tert-ブチル安息香酸のヒドロキシアルミニウム塩、ヒドロキシ-ジ(p-tert-ブチル安息香酸)アルミニウムをはじめとするカルボン酸の金属塩、メチレンビス(2,4-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ホスフェートナトリウム、ナトリウム-2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ホスフェート、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]リチウム、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]カリウム、リン酸ビス(4-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウム、リン酸メチレン(2,4-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウム、アルミニウム=ビス(4,6’,6,6’-テトラ-tert-ブチル-2,2’-メチレンジフェニル=ホスファート)=ヒドロキシドをはじめとするリン酸の金属塩、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]アンモニウム等を選択して用いることができる。また、これらを含む複合体も用いることができる。これらの中でも、結晶化温度を高くする観点から、リン酸又は亜リン酸の有機化合物のリチウム塩を用いることが好ましく、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]リチウムを用いることがより好ましい。
具体的な商品名としては、株式会社ADEKA製のアデカスタブNA-10、アデカスタブNA-11、アデカスタブNA-21、アデカスタブNA-30、アデカスタブNA-35、アデカスタブNA-70、大日本インキ化学工業株式会社製のPTBBA-AL等が挙げられる。
有機系の結晶化核剤としては、例えば、有機カルボン酸アルカリ金属塩、有機カルボン酸アルカリ土類金属塩、リン酸又は亜リン酸の有機化合物及びそれらの金属塩、フタロシアニン誘導体、ソルビトール誘導体などが挙げられる。
更に具体的には、例えば、アルミニウムジ(p-tert-ブチルベンゾエート)、安息香酸のナトリウム塩、p-tert-ブチル安息香酸のヒドロキシアルミニウム塩、ヒドロキシ-ジ(p-tert-ブチル安息香酸)アルミニウムをはじめとするカルボン酸の金属塩、メチレンビス(2,4-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ホスフェートナトリウム、ナトリウム-2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ホスフェート、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]リチウム、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]カリウム、リン酸ビス(4-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウム、リン酸メチレン(2,4-tert-ブチルフェニル)ナトリウム、アルミニウム=ビス(4,6’,6,6’-テトラ-tert-ブチル-2,2’-メチレンジフェニル=ホスファート)=ヒドロキシドをはじめとするリン酸の金属塩、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]アンモニウム等を選択して用いることができる。また、これらを含む複合体も用いることができる。これらの中でも、結晶化温度を高くする観点から、リン酸又は亜リン酸の有機化合物のリチウム塩を用いることが好ましく、[リン酸[2,2’-メチレンビス(4,6-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)]]リチウムを用いることがより好ましい。
具体的な商品名としては、株式会社ADEKA製のアデカスタブNA-10、アデカスタブNA-11、アデカスタブNA-21、アデカスタブNA-30、アデカスタブNA-35、アデカスタブNA-70、大日本インキ化学工業株式会社製のPTBBA-AL等が挙げられる。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、結晶核剤の配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.1~3質量部、より好ましくは0.3~2質量部、更に好ましくは0.5~1.5質量部である。結晶核剤(C)の配合量が0.1質量部以上であることで、結晶化のための温度条件の幅広い設定が可能となり、生産性がより向上され、また、3.0質量部以下であることで、成形等に熱可塑性樹脂組成物を用いた際に、発生するガス成分量が抑制され、外観がより良好になる。
≪ゴム状弾性体≫
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、更にゴム状弾性体を配合できる。ゴム状弾性体が配合されることで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。

ゴム状弾性体は、オレフィン系エラストマーやスチレンに由来する構成単位を含むエラストマーが挙げられ特に制限はない。オレフィン系エラストマーとしてはエチレンやプロピレンを主成分としたエラストマーが挙げられる。ゴム状弾性体としては、好ましくはスチレンに由来する構成単位を含むエラストマーであり、より好ましくはスチレン-ジエンブロック共重合体、水素添加スチレン-ジエンブロック共重合体、スチレン-ジエンランダム共重合体、水素添加スチレン-ジエンランダム共重合体、及びスチレン-オレフィンランダム共重合体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である。ここで、スチレンと共重合されるジエンとしては、ブタジエン及びイソプレンが挙げられ、スチレンと共重合されるオレフィンとしては、エチレン、プロピレン及びブチレンが挙げられる。

ゴム状弾性体を構成する、スチレンに由来する構成単位と、ジエン、水素添加ジエン及びオレフィンに由来する構成単位の合計との質量比[(スチレン)/(ジエン、水素添加ジエン、オレフィン)]は、好ましくは20/80~70/30であり、より好ましくは25/75~60/40、更に好ましくは25/75~45/55である。ゴム状弾性体のスチレン含有量として25~60質量%の範囲であることが好ましく、25~45質量%の範囲であることがより好ましい。
上記の質量比であると、(A)SPSとの相溶性を高められ、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。

≪シリコーンオイル≫
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、更にシリコーンオイルが配合されることが好ましい。シリコーンオイルが配合されることで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、更にシリコーンオイルが配合されることが好ましい。シリコーンオイルが配合されることで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。
シリコーンオイルとしては、例えばジメチルシリコーンオイル、フェニルメチルシリコーンオイル、及びジフェニルシリコーンオイル等が挙げられ、これらの中でも、ジメチルシリコーンオイルが好ましい。
本発明においてジメチルシリコーンオイルは、ジメチルシリコーン構造を基本としたシリコーンオイル、及びその変性体(以下、「変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル」ともいう)を含む。
変性ジメチルシリコーンは、反応性又は非反応性を問わず、変性基の導入位置により、側鎖型、両末端型、片末端型及び側鎖両末端型などがある。また、変性ジメチルシリコーンオイルとしては、具体例としては、アミノ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、エポキシ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、カルボキシ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、カルビノール変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メタクリル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メルカプト変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、フェノール変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、ポリエーテル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メチルスチリル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、アルキル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、高級脂肪酸エステル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、フッ素変性ジメチルシリコーンオイルなどが挙げられる。これらのシリコーンオイルは複数種を混合して用いてもよい。
本発明においてジメチルシリコーンオイルは、ジメチルシリコーン構造を基本としたシリコーンオイル、及びその変性体(以下、「変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル」ともいう)を含む。
変性ジメチルシリコーンは、反応性又は非反応性を問わず、変性基の導入位置により、側鎖型、両末端型、片末端型及び側鎖両末端型などがある。また、変性ジメチルシリコーンオイルとしては、具体例としては、アミノ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、エポキシ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、カルボキシ変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、カルビノール変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メタクリル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メルカプト変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、フェノール変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、ポリエーテル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、メチルスチリル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、アルキル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、高級脂肪酸エステル変性ジメチルシリコーンオイル、フッ素変性ジメチルシリコーンオイルなどが挙げられる。これらのシリコーンオイルは複数種を混合して用いてもよい。
シリコーンオイルの25℃における粘度は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びの向上の観点から、好ましくは1~1,200,000cSt、より好ましくは5~100,000cSt、更に好ましくは10~50,000cSt、より更に好ましくは20~25,000cSt、より更に好ましくは30~15,000cSt、より更に好ましくは50~1,000cSt、より更に好ましくは100~500cStである。
なお、本発明においてシリコーンオイルの粘度は、JIS K 2283に準拠した方法により測定される動粘度を示す。

本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、シリコーンオイルの配合量は、好ましくは0.1~10質量部、より好ましくは0.2~7質量部、更に好ましくは0.4~5質量部、より更に好ましくは0.5~3質量部である。シリコーンオイルの配合量が上記範囲内であることで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。
≪酸化防止剤≫
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、耐久性の観点から、更に酸化防止剤が配合されることが好ましい。酸化防止剤は、フェノール系化合物(フェノール系酸化防止剤)、リン系化合物(リン系酸化防止剤)及び硫黄系化合物(硫黄系酸化防止剤)より選ばれる少なくとも1種を用いることが好ましく、耐熱性の観点から、フェノール系化合物(フェノール系酸化防止剤)がより好ましい。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、耐久性の観点から、更に酸化防止剤が配合されることが好ましい。酸化防止剤は、フェノール系化合物(フェノール系酸化防止剤)、リン系化合物(リン系酸化防止剤)及び硫黄系化合物(硫黄系酸化防止剤)より選ばれる少なくとも1種を用いることが好ましく、耐熱性の観点から、フェノール系化合物(フェノール系酸化防止剤)がより好ましい。
フェノール系酸化防止剤の具体例としては、2,6-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-メチルフェノール、2,6-ジフェニル-4-メトキシフェノール、2,2’-メチレンビス(6-tert-ブチル-4-メチルフェノール)、2,2’-メチレンビス〔4-メチル-6-(α-メチルシクロヘキシル)フェノール〕、1,1-ビス(5-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシ-2-メチルフェニル)ブタン、2,2’-メチレンビス(4-メチル-6-シクロヘキシルフェノール)、2,2’-メチレンビス(4-メチル-6-ノニルフェノール)、1,1,3-トリス(5-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシ-2-メチルフェニル)ブタン、2,2-ビス(5-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシ-2-メチルフェニル)-4-n-ドデシルメルカプトブタン、エチレングリコール-ビス〔3,3-ビス(3-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)ブチレート〕、1,1-ビス(3,5-ジメチル-2-ヒドロキシフェニル)-3-(n-ドデシルチオ)-ブタン、4,4’-チオビス(6-tert-ブチル-3-メチルフェノール)、1,3,5-トリス(3,5-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシベンジル)-2,4,6-トリメチルベンゼン、2,2-ビス(3,5-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシベンジル)マロン酸ジオクタデシルエステル、n-オクタデシル-3-(4-ヒドロキシ-3,5-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)プロピオネート、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス{3-(3,5-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート}等が挙げられる。特に、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス[3-(3,5-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]が好ましい。
リン系酸化防止剤としては、3,9-ビス(2,6-ジ-tert-ブチル-4-メチルフェノキシ)-2,4,8,10-テトラオキサ-3,9-ジホスファスピロ「5.5」ウンデカン、トリス(2,4-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)ホスファイト、トリス(モノ及びジ-ノニルフェニル)ホスファイト等のモノホスファイトやジホスファイト等が挙げられる。
硫黄系酸化防止剤としては、2,2-ビス{[3-(ドデシルチオ)-1-オキソプロポキシ]メチル}プロパン-1,3-ジイルビス[3-(ドデシルチオ)プロピネート]、ジ(トリデシル)3,3’-チオジプロピネート、3,3’-チオジプロピネート等が挙げられる。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物において、酸化防止剤の配合量は、(A)SPS100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.05~2.0質量部、より好ましくは0.1~1.8質量部、更に好ましくは0.3~1.5質量部、より更に好ましくは0.5~1.2質量部である。酸化防止剤の配合量が前記の範囲であれば、熱可塑性樹脂の耐久性がより向上されると共に、加工時の耐熱変色性が良好となり、酸化防止剤のブリードも抑制され、外観に悪影響を与えない。
<ガラス繊維>
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、更にガラス繊維を含むことが好ましい。ガラス繊維を含有することで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。

本発明においてガラス繊維は、真円形状の断面を有するガラス繊維でもよく、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維でもよい。これらの中でも、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の引張弾性率の低下抑制及び流動性の確保の観点から、真円形状の断面を有するガラス繊維であることが好ましい。また、真円形状の断面を有するガラス繊維は、得られる成形品の樹脂流動の方向と垂直な方向において、ガラス繊維の断面方向由来の異方性がなく、物性変動が少ない点からも好ましい。
なお、本明細書において、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維とは、繊維軸に垂直な断面が扁平形状であるガラス繊維を指す。扁平形状とは、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の異形比が1より大きい形状を指す。本明細書において異形比とは、ガラス繊維の長さ方向に対して垂直な断面に外接する最小面積の長方形を想定し、この長方形の長辺の長さを長径とし、短辺の長さを短径としたときの、長径/短径の比である。
扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維を用いる場合、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の異形比は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の引張弾性率の低下抑制及び流動性の確保の観点から、好ましくは2.0~6.0、より好ましくは3.0~5.0、更に好ましくは3.5~4.5である。また、短径は、好ましくは3~10μm、より好ましくは5~8μmである。
扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維を用いる場合、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の異形比は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の引張弾性率の低下抑制及び流動性の確保の観点から、好ましくは2.0~6.0、より好ましくは3.0~5.0、更に好ましくは3.5~4.5である。また、短径は、好ましくは3~10μm、より好ましくは5~8μmである。
ガラス繊維の繊維径は、好ましくは8~20μm、より好ましくは9~15μm、更にこのましくは10~12μmである。ガラス繊維の繊維径が8μm以上であると、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、また、20μm以下であると、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性を確保される。
なお、本発明においてガラス繊維の繊維径とは、真円形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の場合、繊維軸に垂直な断面の円の直径を意味する。また、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の場合、繊維軸に垂直な断面において、該断面の面積と同じ面積を有する円に換算した際の該円の直径を意味している。
なお、本発明においてガラス繊維の繊維径とは、真円形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の場合、繊維軸に垂直な断面の円の直径を意味する。また、扁平形状の断面を有するガラス繊維の場合、繊維軸に垂直な断面において、該断面の面積と同じ面積を有する円に換算した際の該円の直径を意味している。
ガラス繊維の繊維長は、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性の確保及びハンドリングの観点から、1~30mmであることが好ましく、1.5~10mmであることがより好ましく、2~5mmであることがより更に好ましい。また、熱可塑性樹脂組成物中に含まれるガラス繊維の繊維長は、押出混練時の折損等により200~600μmとなることが好ましい。
ガラス繊維は、(A)SPSとの密着性を高めるために、カップリング剤で表面処理を施されていることが好ましく、シラン系カップリング剤又はチタン系カップリング剤により処理されていることがより好ましく、シラン系カップリング剤で処理されていることが樹脂成分との相溶性の観点から更に好ましい。
シラン系カップリング剤の具体例としては、トリエトキシシラン、ビニルトリス(β-メトキシエトキシ)シラン、γ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、β-(1,1-エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン、N-β-(アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-β-(アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N-フェニル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-クロロプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピル-トリス(2-メトキシ-エトキシ)シラン、N-メチル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-ビニルベンジル-γ-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3-ウレイドプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-4,5-ジヒドロイミダゾールプロピルトリエトキシシラン、ヘキサメチルジシラザン、N,N-ビス(トリメチルシリル)ウレア、3-トリエトキシシリル-N-(1,3-ジメチルーブチリデン)プロピルアミン等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N-β-(アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、β-(3,4-エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン等のアミノシラン、エポキシシランが好ましい。
チタン系カップリング剤の具体例としては、イソプロピルトリイソステアロイルチタネート、イソプロピルトリドデシルベンゼンスルホニルチタネート、イソプロピルトリス(ジオクチルパイロホスフェート)チタネート、テトライソプロピルビス(ジオクチルホスファイト)チタネート、テトラオクチルビス(ジトリデシルホスファイト)チタネート、テトラ(1,1-ジアリルオキシメチル-1-ブチル)ビス(ジトリデシル)ホスファイトチタネート、ビス(ジオクチルパイロホスフェート)オキシアセテートチタネート、ビス(ジオクチルパイロホスフェート)エチレンチタネート、イソプロピルトリオクタノイルチタネート、イソプロピルジメタクリルイソステアロイルチタネート、イソプロピルイソステアロイルジアクリルチタネート、イソプロピルトリ(ジオクチルホスフェート)チタネート、イソプロピルトリクミルフェニルチタネート、イソプロピルトリ(N-アミドエチル,アミノエチル)チタネート、ジクミルフェニルオキシアセテートチタネート、ジイソステアロイルエチレンチタネートなどが挙げられる。これらの中でも、イソプロピルトリ(N-アミドエチル,アミノエチル)チタネートが好ましい。
本発明の一態様の熱可塑性樹脂組成物がガラス繊維を含む場合、熱可塑性樹脂組成物中のガラス繊維の含有量は、スチレン系樹脂組成物及びガラス繊維の合計中、好ましくは5~50質量%、より好ましくは10~45質量%、更に好ましくは25~40質量%である。ガラス繊維の含有量が5質量%以上であることで、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の機械的強度がより向上され、また、50質量%以下であることで、成形等に用いた際の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の流動性の確保が確保される。
[熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法]
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法は、スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法であって、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物を溶融混練して前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程を含み、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基が、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であり、前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、前記(C)金属化合物の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法である。

溶融混練する方法は、通常用いられている機器、例えば、リボンブレンダー、ドラムタンブラー、ヘンシェルミキサーなどで予備混合して、バンバリーミキサー、単軸スクリュー押出機、二軸スクリュー押出機、多軸スクリュー押出機及びコニーダ等を用いる方法で行うことができる。
また、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程において、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、(C)金属化合物及びその他の成分の各原料を溶融混練する前に、各原料をあらかじめドライブレンドすることが好ましく、(C)金属化合物は水やアルコールなどの溶媒に溶解させたものを混合してもよい。
また、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程において、(C)金属化合物の供給方法は、上記のように(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の化合物と共に、ドライブレンドして供給してもよく、ガラス繊維と共に供給してもよい。
(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを混合した後、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の成分の各原料の溶融混練中に、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物をサイドフィードにより供給してもよい。
また、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物は、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とをドライブレンドして得てもよく、(C)金属化合物を少量の水やアルコールなどで溶解させたものをガラス繊維と混合して得てもよく、また、(C)金属化合物を少量の水やアルコールなどで溶解させたものをガラス繊維に噴霧して得てもよい。
また、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程において、(C)金属化合物の供給方法は、上記のように(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の化合物と共に、ドライブレンドして供給してもよく、ガラス繊維と共に供給してもよい。
(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを混合した後、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の成分の各原料の溶融混練中に、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物をサイドフィードにより供給してもよい。
また、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物は、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とをドライブレンドして得てもよく、(C)金属化合物を少量の水やアルコールなどで溶解させたものをガラス繊維と混合して得てもよく、また、(C)金属化合物を少量の水やアルコールなどで溶解させたものをガラス繊維に噴霧して得てもよい。
本発明の一態様の製造方法において、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び(C)金属化合物の態様としては、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様である。
また、本発明の一態様の製造法において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、上記の成分の他に、本発明の目的を阻害しない範囲で、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物で示した任意のその他の成分を配合することができる。
特に、上記その他の成分の内、結晶核剤、ゴム状弾性体及びシリコーンオイルの態様としては、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様である。
また、本発明の一態様の製造法において、スチレン系樹脂組成物は、上記の成分の他に、本発明の目的を阻害しない範囲で、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物で示した任意のその他の成分を配合することができる。
特に、上記その他の成分の内、結晶核剤、ゴム状弾性体及びシリコーンオイルの態様としては、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様である。
また、本発明の一態様の製造方法は、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程において、更にガラス繊維を配合することが好ましい。ガラス繊維を配合することで、得られる熱可塑性樹脂組成物の曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びがより向上され、靭性がより向上される。
本発明の一態様の製造方法において、ガラス繊維の態様としては、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様である。
本発明の一態様の製造方法において、ガラス繊維の態様としては、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様である。
本発明の一態様の製造方法において、ガラス繊維の供給方法は、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、(C)金属化合物及びその他の成分の各原料と共に供給してもよく、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、(C)金属化合物及びその他の成分の各原料の溶融混練中に、サイドフィードにより供給してもよく、生産性の観点から、サイドフィードにより供給することが好ましい。
また、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを混合した後、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の成分の各原料の溶融混練中に、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物をサイドフィードにより供給してもよい。
また、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを共に供給する場合、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維とを混合した後、(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル及びその他の成分の各原料の溶融混練中に、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物をサイドフィードにより供給してもよい。
また、本発明の一態様の製造方法において、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程でガラス繊維を配合する場合、ガラス繊維の配合量は、上述の本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物と同様に、スチレン系樹脂組成物及びガラス繊維の合計中、好ましくは5~50質量%、より好ましくは10~45質量%、更に好ましくは25~40質量%である。
本発明を実施例により更に具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらに何ら制限されるものではない。
実施例及び比較例で用いた原料は次の通りである。

製造例1(FAPPE-1(フマル酸変性ポリフェニレンエーテル)の製造)
ポリフェニレンエーテル(ポリ(2,6-ジメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、固有粘度0.45dL/g、クロロホルム中、25℃) 1kg、フマル酸30g、ラジカル発生剤として2,3-ジメチル-2,3-ジフェニルブタン(日本油脂、ノフマーBC) 20gをドライブレンドし、30mm二軸押出機を用いてスクリュー回転数200rpm、設定温度300℃で溶融混練を行った。このとき樹脂温度は約331℃であった。ストランドを水冷後ペレット化し、FAPPE-1を得た。
変性率測定のため、得られたFAPPE-1 1gをエチルベンゼンに溶解後、メタノールに再沈し、回収したポリマーをメタノールでソックスレー抽出し、乾燥後IRスペクトルのカルボニル吸収の強度および滴定により変性率を求めた。この時、変性率は1.45重量%であった。
ポリフェニレンエーテル(ポリ(2,6-ジメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)、固有粘度0.45dL/g、クロロホルム中、25℃) 1kg、フマル酸30g、ラジカル発生剤として2,3-ジメチル-2,3-ジフェニルブタン(日本油脂、ノフマーBC) 20gをドライブレンドし、30mm二軸押出機を用いてスクリュー回転数200rpm、設定温度300℃で溶融混練を行った。このとき樹脂温度は約331℃であった。ストランドを水冷後ペレット化し、FAPPE-1を得た。
変性率測定のため、得られたFAPPE-1 1gをエチルベンゼンに溶解後、メタノールに再沈し、回収したポリマーをメタノールでソックスレー抽出し、乾燥後IRスペクトルのカルボニル吸収の強度および滴定により変性率を求めた。この時、変性率は1.45重量%であった。
実施例1-1~1-7及び比較例1-1
(熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造)
各原料を表1に記載の割合でドライブレンドした。ドライブレンドした原料を、二軸混練機(サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック社製、Process11)に供給し、スクリュー回転数200rpm、設定温度300℃溶融混練をし、熱可塑性樹脂のペレットを得た。なお、比較例1-1は、金属化合物を含まない比較例である。
(熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造)
各原料を表1に記載の割合でドライブレンドした。ドライブレンドした原料を、二軸混練機(サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック社製、Process11)に供給し、スクリュー回転数200rpm、設定温度300℃溶融混練をし、熱可塑性樹脂のペレットを得た。なお、比較例1-1は、金属化合物を含まない比較例である。

≪MFR≫
得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを用いて、JIS K7210-1:2014に準拠し、温度300℃、荷重2.16kgfの条件で測定した。
≪曲げ弾性率及び曲げ破断歪≫
得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機(サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック社製、MiniJetPro)を用い、シリンダー温度300℃、金型温度150℃の条件で射出成形し、試験片を得た。該試験片は、ISO527-2-1BAに準拠し、厚さ4mmのダンベル形状とした。
前記試験片を用い、曲げ速度:1mm/min、サポートスパン:35mmの条件で、室温環境下にて、三点曲げ試験を実施し、曲げ弾性率及び曲げ破断歪を測定した。測定結果を表1に示す。
金属化合物の添加により溶融粘度の向上(MFRの低下)が見られ、アイオノマー化していることが推察される。
≪MFR≫
得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを用いて、JIS K7210-1:2014に準拠し、温度300℃、荷重2.16kgfの条件で測定した。
≪曲げ弾性率及び曲げ破断歪≫
得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機(サーモフィッシャーサイエンティフィック社製、MiniJetPro)を用い、シリンダー温度300℃、金型温度150℃の条件で射出成形し、試験片を得た。該試験片は、ISO527-2-1BAに準拠し、厚さ4mmのダンベル形状とした。
前記試験片を用い、曲げ速度:1mm/min、サポートスパン:35mmの条件で、室温環境下にて、三点曲げ試験を実施し、曲げ弾性率及び曲げ破断歪を測定した。測定結果を表1に示す。
金属化合物の添加により溶融粘度の向上(MFRの低下)が見られ、アイオノマー化していることが推察される。
実施例2-1~2-2(熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造)
(C)金属化合物及びガラス繊維以外の各原料を、表2に記載の割合で配合し、ヘンシェルミキサーでドライブレンドした。また、スチレン系樹脂組成物中の(C)金属化合物の配合量が表2の割合になるように、表2に記載の(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維と混合し、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物を得た。

ドライブレンドした原料を、二軸スクリュー押出機(「TEM37SS」、芝浦機械株式会社製)に供給し、スクリュー回転数250rpm、シリンダー温度290℃で、ガラス繊維の含有量が表2に記載の割合となるように、ガラス繊維をサイドフィードしながら溶融混練を行った後、得られるストランドを水冷後ペレット化し、熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを得た。得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物ペレットを、熱風乾燥機を用いて120℃で5時間乾燥させ、評価に用いた。なお、実施例2-3は、(C)金属化合物をSPS等のスチレン系樹脂組成物の原料とドライブレンドして供給した実施例である。

比較例2-1(熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造)
ガラス繊維以外の各原料を、表2に記載の割合で配合し、ヘンシェルミキサーでドライブレンドした。
ドライブレンドした原料を、二軸スクリュー押出機(「TEM37SS」、芝浦機械株式会社製)に供給し、スクリュー回転数250rpm、シリンダー温度290℃で、ガラス繊維の含有量が表2に記載の割合となるように、ガラス繊維をサイドフィードしながら溶融混練を行った後、得られるストランドを水冷後ペレット化し、熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを得た。得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物ペレットを、熱風乾燥機を用いて120℃で5時間乾燥させ、評価に用いた。なお、比較例2-1は、(C)金属化合物を含まない比較例である。

得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機[住友重機械工業社製 SE100EV]を用い、シリンダー温度290℃、金型温度150℃にて、JIS K 7139:2015に準拠し、ダンベル型引張試験片(タイプA)を成形した。
前記測定用試験片を用い、ISO 527-1,2:2012に準拠し、引張速度5mm/分の条件下、測定温度23℃の環境下で、引張弾性率、引張強さ及び引張破断伸びを測定した。測定結果を表2に示す。

ドライブレンドした原料を、二軸スクリュー押出機(「TEM37SS」、芝浦機械株式会社製)に供給し、スクリュー回転数250rpm、シリンダー温度290℃で、ガラス繊維の含有量が表3に記載の割合となるように、(C)金属化合物とガラス繊維との混合物をサイドフィードしながら溶融混練を行った後、得られるストランドを水冷後ペレット化し、熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを得た。得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物ペレットを、熱風乾燥機を用いて120℃で5時間乾燥させ、評価に用いた。

得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機[住友重機械工業社製 SE100EV]を用い、シリンダー温度290℃、金型温度150℃にて、JIS K 7139:2015に準拠し、ダンベル型引張試験片(タイプA)を成形した。
前記測定用試験片を用い、ISO 527-1,2:2012に準拠し、引張速度5mm/分の条件下、測定温度23℃の環境下で、引張弾性率、引張強さ及び引張破断伸びを測定した。測定結果を表3に示す。
≪曲げ弾性率及び曲げ強さ≫
上記成形条件を用いて得られた試験片を用いて、ISO 178:2010に準拠して、温度23℃、曲げ速度2mm/分の条件で 曲げ弾性率及び曲げ強さを測定した。測定結果を表3に示す。
≪引張弾性率、引張強さ及び引張破断伸び≫
得られた熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを、射出成形機[住友重機械工業社製 SE100EV]を用い、シリンダー温度290℃、金型温度150℃にて、JIS K 7139:2015に準拠し、ダンベル型引張試験片(タイプA)を成形した。

上記成形条件を用いて得られた試験片を用いて、ISO 178:2010に準拠して、温度23℃、曲げ速度2mm/分の条件で 曲げ弾性率及び曲げ強さを測定した。測定結果を表3に示す。
表1~3の結果から、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、曲げ破断伸び又は引張破断伸びが向上され、靭性に優れることがわかる。
Claims (13)
- スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む、熱可塑性樹脂組成物であって、
前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、
(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び
(C)金属化合物
を溶融混練させて得られ、
前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基が、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であり、
前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、
前記(C)金属化合物の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基の、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基において、前記酸及び/又はその誘導体が、無水マレイン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸エステル、フマル酸エステル、マレイン酸塩、フマル酸塩、アクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル、アクリル酸アミド、アクリル酸塩、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸アミド、メタクリル酸塩及びグリシジルメタクリレートから選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)金属化合物が、金属塩、金属酸化物、金属水酸化物、及び金属錯体から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1又は2に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)金属化合物が、金属塩である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)金属化合物が、アルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩及び遷移金属塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、更に結晶核剤を配合し、
前記結晶核剤の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~3質量部である、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、更にゴム状弾性体を配合し、
前記ゴム状弾性体の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、5~25質量部である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 前記スチレン系樹脂組成物が、更にシリコーンオイルを配合し、
前記シリコーンオイルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~10質量部である、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 更にガラス繊維を含有する、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ガラス繊維の含有量が、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物及び前記ガラス繊維の合計中、5~50質量%である、請求項9に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- スチレン系樹脂組成物を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法であって、
(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体、
(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテル、及び
(C)金属化合物
を溶融混練して前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程を含み、
前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの官能基が、酸及び/又はその誘導体に由来する官能基であり、
前記(B)官能基含有ポリフェニレンエーテルの配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~150質量部であり、
前記(C)金属化合物の配合量が、前記(A)シンジオタクチック構造を有するスチレン系重合体100質量部に対して、0.001~10質量部である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。 - 前記スチレン系樹脂組成物を得る工程において、更にガラス繊維を配合する、請求項11に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記ガラス繊維の配合量が、前記スチレン系樹脂組成物及び前記ガラス繊維の合計中、5~50質量%である、請求項12に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
