Abstract
本発明は、硬化物表面へのブリードアウトを抑制でき、かつ低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができる光重合開始剤組成物、及び当該光重合開始剤組成物を含む、光硬化性組成物、光硬化性組成物キット、並びに光硬化性樹脂組成物を提供することを目的とする。本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有する水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及びエチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上と、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基とを有するモノマーAを含有する。
Description
本発明は、光重合開始剤組成物、及び前記光重合開始剤組成物を含む、光硬化性組成物、光硬化性組成物キット、並びに光硬化性樹脂組成物に関する。
光重合開始剤及びモノマー成分を含む光硬化性組成物は、例えば、塗料、インク、接着剤、粘着剤、絶縁膜、保護膜、及びフィルムなどに幅広く使用されている。
しかし、従来、前記光硬化性組成物の硬化物において、光重合開始剤やその分解物がブリードアウトするという問題があった。
この問題を解決するために、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を有し、重合体構造内に組み込むことが可能な光重合開始剤が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1及び2)。
また、特許文献3では、不飽和基を含むベンゾフェノン誘導体;水素供与基を含むアクリル系モノマー;高分子に重合される少なくとも一つ以上のモノマー混合物を溶液重合して生成された共重合体を紫外線に露出させて架橋して製造される光重合効率が改善された紫外線架橋型アクリル系粘着剤が提案されている。
さらに、特許文献4では、エージング工程を経ることなく、十分な耐熱性を有する光硬化型粘着剤を得ることを目的として、エチレン性不飽和モノマーと、水素供与性モノマーに由来するモノマー単位を有するプレポリマーと、水素引き抜き型光開始剤と、を含む、光硬化型粘着剤前駆体組成物が提案されている。
しかし、特許文献3では、水素供与基を含むアクリル系モノマーとして、2-ハイドロキシエチルメタクリレートを用いているため、光重合効率の大きな改善は望めない。また、特許文献4では、水素供与性モノマーが予めプレポリマー構造内に組み込まれているため、水素引き抜きが起こりにくく、ラジカル重合の反応性は大きく向上しないことが予想される。なお、特許文献4には、水素引き抜き型光開始剤が、重合体構造中に組み込まれることは記載されていない。
本発明は、上記問題に鑑みなされたものであり、硬化物表面へのブリードアウトを抑制でき、かつ低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができる光重合開始剤組成物、及び当該光重合開始剤組成物を含む、光硬化性組成物、光硬化性組成物キット、並びに光硬化性樹脂組成物を提供することを目的とする。
本発明者は、上記課題を解決するため鋭意研究を重ねた結果、下記の光重合開始剤組成物、及び光硬化性組成物等により、上記課題を解決できることを見出し、本発明に到達した。
すなわち、本発明は、下記の態様の発明を提供する。
[1].エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有する水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及び
エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上と、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基とを有するモノマーAを含有する、光重合開始剤組成物。
[2].前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ベンゾフェノン型光重合開始剤、キサントン型光重合開始剤、チオキサントン型光重合開始剤、及びアクリドン型光重合開始剤からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、[1]に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。
[3].前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有する前記エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基が、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基である、[1]又は[2]に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。

本発明の水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有しているため、一般的な水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤とは異なり重合体構造中に組み込むことができるという特徴がある。そのため、硬化物中に残留した光重合開始剤やその変性物等が硬化物表面へブリードアウトすることを効果的に抑制することができる。一方、本発明のモノマーAは、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基を有しており、前記水素供与性基において生じる炭素ラジカルの安定性が高い。そのため、前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤による水素の引き抜きが起きやすく、反応性の高い炭素ラジカルが生成しやすいという特徴がある。本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤と前記モノマーAとを含有するため、硬化物表面へのブリードアウトを効果的に抑制でき、かつ低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができる。また、本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、前記特徴を有するため、光硬化性組成物(例えば、紫外線硬化型インクジェット用インク、及び塗料など)、光硬化性組成物キット(例えば、2液型接着剤、及び2液型粘着剤など)、及び光硬化性樹脂組成物(例えば、感光性樹脂組成物、ハードコート用樹脂組成物、絶縁膜用樹脂組成物、粘着剤組成物、及び接着剤組成物など)に配合される光重合開始剤成分として好適に用いられる。また、本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、光重合開始剤成分としての役割だけでなく、モノマー成分又は架橋成分としての役割も有する。
本発明において、(メタ)アクリレートとはアクリレート及び/又はメタクリレートを、(メタ)アクリロイルとはアクリロイル及び/又はメタクリロイルを、(メタ)アクリル酸とはアクリル酸及び/又はメタクリル酸をそれぞれ意味する。
<光重合開始剤組成物>
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有する水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及びエチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上と、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基とを有するモノマーA(以下、「水素供与性モノマーA」ともいう。)を含有する。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有する水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及びエチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上と、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基とを有するモノマーA(以下、「水素供与性モノマーA」ともいう。)を含有する。
〔水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤〕
本発明において水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤とは、光照射により励起して高エネルギー状態になり、それにより水素供与性モノマーAの水素供与性基から水素原子を引き抜いて、水素供与性基に炭素ラジカルを生じさせることができる光重合開始剤をいう。

水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、重合体構造中に組み込むために、エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基(以下、「ラジカル重合性官能基」ともいう。)を1つ以上有する。ラジカル重合性官能基は特に制限されず、例えば、ビニル基、アリル基、スチリル基、(メタ)アクリロイル基、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、及び(メタ)アクリルアミド基などが挙げられ、重合反応性を向上させる観点から、好ましくは(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、より好ましくはアクリロイルオキシ基である。水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ラジカル重合性官能基を1種有していてもよく、2種以上有していてもよい。また、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ラジカル重合性官能基を1~3つ有することが好ましく、より好ましくは1又は2つ、さらに好ましくは1つである。
水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ラジカル重合性官能基を1つ以上有しており、また、光照射により励起したケトン基と水素供与性モノマーAの水素供与性基から引き抜いた水素原子との反応により炭素ラジカルが生じるため、光重合開始剤としての機能だけでなく、モノマー成分又は架橋成分としての機能も有する。
水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ベンゾフェノン型光重合開始剤、キサントン型光重合開始剤、チオキサントン型光重合開始剤、及びアクリドン型光重合開始剤からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種であることが好ましく、より好ましくはベンゾフェノン型光重合開始剤である。これらの型の光重合開始剤において、ラジカル重合性官能基は、ケトン基に対してオルト位、メタ位、又はパラ位のどの位置に結合していてもよいが、製造容易性等の観点から、オルト位又はパラ位に結合していることが好ましい。また、これらの型の光重合開始剤において、ラジカル重合性官能基は、ベンゼン環に直接結合していてもよく、脂肪族炭化水素基、脂環式炭化水素基、及び芳香族炭化水素基などの有機基を介して結合していてもよいが、重合反応性を向上させる観点から、ベンゼン環に直接結合していることが好ましい。また、これらの型の光重合開始剤において、ベンゼン環は、アルキル基、アルコキシ基、及びハロゲン基などの置換基を1つ以上有していてもよい。
水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、好ましくは下記構造の光重合開始剤である。これらは1種用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。下記構造の光重合開始剤は、例えば、ヒドロキシ基を有するベンゾフェノン、ヒドロキシ基を有するキサントン、ヒドロキシ基を有するチオキサントン、又はヒドロキシ基を有するアクリドンと、無水(メタ)アクリル酸とを反応させることにより合成することができる。
(式中、R1及びR2はそれぞれ独立に水素又はメチル基である。)
〔水素供与性モノマーA〕
水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1つ以上有する。ラジカル重合性官能基は特に制限されず、例えば、ビニル基、アリル基、スチリル基、(メタ)アクリロイル基、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、及び(メタ)アクリルアミド基が挙げられ、低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させる観点から、好ましくは(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、より好ましくはアクリロイル基又はアクリロイルオキシ基である。水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1種有していてもよく、2種以上有していてもよい。また、水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1~3つ有することが好ましく、より好ましくは1又は2つ、さらに好ましくは1つである。
水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1つ以上有する。ラジカル重合性官能基は特に制限されず、例えば、ビニル基、アリル基、スチリル基、(メタ)アクリロイル基、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、及び(メタ)アクリルアミド基が挙げられ、低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させる観点から、好ましくは(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、より好ましくはアクリロイル基又はアクリロイルオキシ基である。水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1種有していてもよく、2種以上有していてもよい。また、水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1~3つ有することが好ましく、より好ましくは1又は2つ、さらに好ましくは1つである。
水素供与性モノマーAは、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基を有している。これらの水素供与性基は、ヒドロキシ基、チオール基、エーテル基、第1級アミノ基、第2級アミノ基、アミド基、又は酸素含有複素環と比べて水素供与性に優れており、反応性の高い炭素ラジカルが生じやすいため、従来の水素供与性モノマーに比べて低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができる。水素供与性モノマーAは、水素供与性により優れ、炭素ラジカルをより生じやすい観点から、ホルマール基又は第3級アミノ基を有することが好ましく、人体に及ぼす影響がより少なく、かつ硬化物の着色を効果的に抑制する観点から、ホルマール基を有することがより好ましい。
ホルマール基は、2つの酸素原子の間にメチレン基を有する基であり、環状構造(以下、「環状ホルマール基」ともいう。)であってもよく、鎖状構造(以下、「鎖状ホルマール基」ともいう。)であってもよい。環状ホルマール基としては、例えば、1,3-ジオキセタン環、1,3-ジオキソラン環、1,3-ジオキサン環、1,3,5-トリオキサン環、1,3-ベンゾジオキソール環、及び1,3-ベンゾジオキサン環などが挙げられる。鎖状ホルマール基としては、例えば、-R3-O-CH2-O-R4構造又は-R3-O-CH2-O-R5-構造を有する基が挙げられる。前記R3及びR5は、それぞれ独立に単結合又は炭素数が1~10の脂肪族炭化水素基であり、好ましくは単結合又は炭素数が1~6の脂肪族炭化水素基、より好ましくは単結合又は炭素数が1~4の脂肪族炭化水素基、さらに好ましくは単結合又は炭素数が1又は2の脂肪族炭化水素基である。前記R4は、炭素数が1~10の脂肪族炭化水素基であり、好ましくは炭素数が1~6の脂肪族炭化水素基、より好ましくは炭素数が1~4の脂肪族炭化水素基、さらに好ましくは炭素数が1又は2の脂肪族炭化水素基である。
第3級アミノ基は特に制限されず、例えば、炭素数が1~10の脂肪族炭化水素基を有する第3級アミノ基が挙げられ、好ましくは炭素数が1~6の脂肪族炭化水素基を有する第3級アミノ基、より好ましくは炭素数が1~4の脂肪族炭化水素基を有する第3級アミノ基、さらに好ましくは炭素数が1又は2の脂肪族炭化水素基を有する第3級アミノ基である。
チオエーテル基は特に制限されず、例えば、-R6-S-R7構造又は-R6-S-R8-構造を有する基が挙げられる。前記R6~R8は、それぞれ独立に炭素数が1~10の脂肪族炭化水素基であり、好ましくは炭素数が1~6の脂肪族炭化水素基、より好ましくは炭素数が1~4の脂肪族炭化水素基、さらに好ましくは炭素数が1又は2の脂肪族炭化水素基である。
窒素含有複素環は、窒素を1つ以上有する複素環であれば特に制限されず、例えば、アジリジン環、アゼチジン環、ピロリジン環、ピロリン環、ピペリジン環、アゼパン環、イミダゾリジン環、イミダゾリン環、ピラゾリジン環、ピラゾリン環、オキサゾリジン環、チアゾリジン環、ピペラジン環、モルホリン環、チオモルホリン環、トリアザシクロヘキサン環、アザアダマンタン環、及びヘキサメチレンテトラミン環などが挙げられる。
水素供与性モノマーAは、ラジカル重合性官能基を1つ以上有しており、また、水素引き抜きにより水素供与性基上に炭素ラジカルが生じるため、架橋成分としての機能も有する。
水素供与性モノマーAは、好ましくはトリアルカノールアミントリ(メタ)アクリレート(アルカノール基の炭素数は、好ましくは1~10、より好ましくは1~6、さらに好ましくは1~4、特に好ましくは1又は2である。)、ピペロニル(メタ)アクリレート、及び下記の化合物である。これらは1種用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
(式中、R1は水素又はメチル基であり、R4、R6、R7、及びR9~R11はそれぞれ独立に炭素数が1~10の脂肪族炭化水素基であり、好ましくは炭素数が1~6の脂肪族炭化水素基、より好ましくは炭素数が1~4の脂肪族炭化水素基、さらに好ましくは炭素数が1又は2の脂肪族炭化水素基である。)
水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有するラジカル重合性官能基と水素供与性モノマーAが有するラジカル重合性官能基は、低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させる観点から、好ましくは同じ又は同種の官能基であり、より好ましくは、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有するラジカル重合性官能基は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基であり、水素供与性モノマーAが有するラジカル重合性官能基は(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基であり、特に好ましくは、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有するラジカル重合性官能基はアクリロイルオキシ基であり、水素供与性モノマーAが有するラジカル重合性官能基はアクリロイル基又はアクリロイルオキシ基である。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物において、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤と水素供与性モノマーAとのモル比(水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤:水素供与性モノマーA)は、低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させる観点から、好ましくは1:5~5:1、より好ましくは1:4~4:1、さらに好ましくは1:3~3:1である。また、本発明の光重合開始剤組成物の一態様として、前記モル比(水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤:水素供与性モノマーA)は、好ましくは1:2~1:5、より好ましくは1:3~1:4である。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤以外の光重合開始剤、光重合開始助剤、及び溶剤などを必要により含有していてもよい。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物において、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤と水素供与性モノマーAの合計含有量は、通常1~100質量%であり、好ましくは10~80質量%、より好ましくは20~50質量%である。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、硬化物表面へのブリードアウトや硬化物の着色を抑制でき、かつ低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができるため、光硬化性組成物(例えば、紫外線硬化型インクジェット用インク、及び塗料など)、光硬化性組成物キット(例えば、2液型接着剤、及び2液型粘着剤など)、及び光硬化性樹脂組成物(例えば、感光性樹脂組成物、ハードコート用樹脂組成物、絶縁膜用樹脂組成物、粘着剤組成物、及び接着剤組成物など)に配合される光重合開始剤成分として好適に用いられる。また、本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、光重合開始剤成分としての役割だけでなく、モノマー成分又は架橋成分としての役割も有する。
<光硬化性組成物>
本発明の光硬化性組成物は、前記光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBとを含有する。

ベースモノマーBは、重合体を形成する主モノマーであり、例えば、単官能モノマー、及び多官能モノマーが挙げられる。

多官能モノマーとしては、例えば、ジビニルベンゼン、ジアリルフタレート、及びジアリルベンゼンホスホネート等の多官能芳香族ビニル系モノマー;(ジ)エチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、プロピレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、トリメチロールプロパンジ(メタ)アクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールテトラ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールテトラ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールペンタ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート、及びトリス(ヒドロキシエチル)イソシアヌレートのトリ(メタ)アクリレートなどの多官能(メタ)アクリレートなどが挙げられる。これらは1種用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
本発明の光硬化性組成物において、ベースモノマーBの含有量は、通常5~95質量%程度であり、好ましくは10~90質量%、より好ましくは50~80質量%である。
本発明の光硬化性組成物において、前記光重合開始剤組成物の含有量は、通常5~95質量%程度であり、十分な反応性を付与する観点およびベースモノマーBに由来する機能を発揮させる観点から、好ましくは10~90質量%、より好ましくは20~50質量%である。
本発明の光硬化性組成物において、十分な反応性を付与する観点およびベースモノマーBに由来する機能を発揮させる観点から、ベースモノマーBの含有量は、光重合開始剤組成物中の水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及び水素供与性モノマーAの合計含有量に対して、モル比で、ベースモノマーBの含有量:光重合開始剤組成物中の水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及び水素供与性モノマーAの合計含有量=40~95:60~5が好ましく、50~90:50~10がより好ましく、55~85:45~15がさらに好ましい。
本発明の光硬化性組成物は、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤以外の光重合開始剤、不飽和ポリエステル、エポキシアクリレート、ウレタンアクリレート、及びポリエステルアクリレートなどのラジカル重合性オリゴマー、光重合開始助剤、及び溶剤などを必要により含有していてもよい。
本発明の光硬化性組成物が、紫外線硬化型インクジェット用インク又は塗料である場合には、増感剤、増感助剤、色材(顔料、染料)、分散剤、スリップ剤(界面活性剤)、湿潤剤(保湿剤)、表面調整剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、キレート剤、pH調整剤、及び安定化剤などの公知の成分を必要により含有していてもよい。
<光硬化性組成物キット>
本発明の光硬化性組成物キットは、前記光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBを含有するベースモノマー組成物とを少なくとも有する。
本発明の光硬化性組成物キットは、前記光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBを含有するベースモノマー組成物とを少なくとも有する。
ベースモノマーBは、重合体を形成する主モノマーであり、例えば、前記単官能モノマー、及び前記多官能モノマーが挙げられる。これらは1種用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。
ベースモノマー組成物において、ベースモノマーBの含有量は、通常5~95質量%程度であり、好ましくは10~90質量%、より好ましくは50~80質量%である。
ベースモノマー組成物は、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤以外の光重合開始剤、不飽和ポリエステル、エポキシアクリレート、ウレタンアクリレート、及びポリエステルアクリレートなどのラジカル重合性オリゴマー、光重合開始助剤、及び溶剤などを必要により含有していてもよい。
本発明の光硬化性組成物キットとしては、例えば、2液型接着剤、及び2液型粘着剤などが挙げられる。
<光硬化性樹脂組成物>
本発明の光硬化性樹脂組成物は、前記光重合開始剤組成物又は前記光硬化性組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する。すなわち、光硬化性樹脂組成物の代表例としては、(1)光重合開始剤組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する態様、及び(2)光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBと、樹脂成分とを含有する態様が挙げられる。
本発明の光硬化性樹脂組成物は、前記光重合開始剤組成物又は前記光硬化性組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する。すなわち、光硬化性樹脂組成物の代表例としては、(1)光重合開始剤組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する態様、及び(2)光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBと、樹脂成分とを含有する態様が挙げられる。
樹脂成分としては、光硬化性樹脂組成物の用途に応じて適宜選択する必要があるが、例えば、感光性樹脂組成物である場合には、公知のアルカリ可溶性樹脂を用いることができ、ハードコート用樹脂組成物又は絶縁膜用樹脂組成物である場合には、公知の硬化性樹脂を用いることができ、粘着剤組成物及び接着剤組成物である場合には、公知のベースポリマーを用いることができる。
本発明の光硬化性樹脂組成物において、樹脂成分の含有量は光硬化性樹脂組成物の用途に応じて適宜調整する必要があるが、通常5~95質量%程度であり、好ましくは10~90質量%、より好ましくは50~80質量%である。

本発明の光硬化性樹脂組成物は、水酸化アルミニウム、タルク、クレー、硫酸バリウムなどの充填材、架橋剤、染料、顔料、消泡剤、カップリング剤、レベリング剤、増感剤、離型剤、滑剤、可塑剤、安定化剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、難燃剤、重合抑制剤、増粘剤、粘着付与剤、及び分散剤などの公知の添加剤を必要により含有していてもよい。
本発明の光硬化性樹脂組成物としては、例えば、感光性樹脂組成物、ハードコート用樹脂組成物、絶縁膜用樹脂組成物、粘着剤組成物、及び接着剤組成物などが挙げられる。
<硬化物>
本発明の光硬化性組成物、光硬化性組成物キット、又は光硬化性樹脂組成物を硬化して得られる硬化物としては、例えば、レンズ(マイクロレンズ)、フォトスペーサー、隔壁材、絶縁膜、保護膜、ハードコート層、フィルム、光導波路材、平坦化膜材、粘着剤層、及び接着剤層などが挙げられる。
本発明の光硬化性組成物、光硬化性組成物キット、又は光硬化性樹脂組成物を硬化して得られる硬化物としては、例えば、レンズ(マイクロレンズ)、フォトスペーサー、隔壁材、絶縁膜、保護膜、ハードコート層、フィルム、光導波路材、平坦化膜材、粘着剤層、及び接着剤層などが挙げられる。
以下に実施例をあげて本発明を説明するが、本発明はこれら実施例によりなんら限定されるものではない。
実施例1
30mLのガラス容器に、ベースモノマーBとしてイソボルニルアクリレート(IBXA)80モル部、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤として4-アクリロイルオキシベンゾフェノン(BPHA)10モル部、及び水素供与性モノマーAとしてトリエタノールアミントリアクリレート(EtAA3N)10モル部を仕込み、10分間攪拌して光硬化性組成物を調製した。
30mLのガラス容器に、ベースモノマーBとしてイソボルニルアクリレート(IBXA)80モル部、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤として4-アクリロイルオキシベンゾフェノン(BPHA)10モル部、及び水素供与性モノマーAとしてトリエタノールアミントリアクリレート(EtAA3N)10モル部を仕込み、10分間攪拌して光硬化性組成物を調製した。
実施例2~14、比較例1~14

[評価及び測定]
(最低硬化照射線量)
調製した各光硬化性組成物をそれぞれ0.03g使用し、照度20mW/cm2の水銀キセノンランプを用いて光照射しながら、レオメーターを用いて弾性率を測定し、弾性率の上昇開始点を最低硬化照射線量(mJ/cm2)とした。結果を表1及び表2に示す。

(黄変の評価)
調製した各光硬化性組成物をそれぞれ0.03g使用し、上述した水銀キセノンランプにより15.6J/cm2の照射線量で光硬化性組成物を光硬化させて硬化膜を作製した。作製した硬化膜について、黄変の有無を目視で確認した。結果を表1及び表2に示す。

(ブリードアウトの評価)
ベースモノマーBとしてペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA)を5モル部、水素供与性モノマーAとして環状トリメチロールプロパンホルマールアクリレート(V#200)を75モル部、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤として4-アクリロイルオキシベンゾフェノン(BPHA)20モル部を混合し、光硬化性組成物を調製した。調製した光硬化性組成物をアルミ板上に塗布し、バーコーターを用いて20μmの膜を形成した後、高圧水銀灯で3J/cm2の光照射を行い、硬化膜を作製した。その硬化膜を削りとり、アセトニトリル:水=90:10(vol/vol)に30分浸漬した。浸漬後の上澄み液を液体クロマトグラフィーで測定を行い、溶出したBPHAの量を測定した。その結果、溶出したBPHAの量は添加量の1.8質量%であった。

水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤として使用した4-アクリロイルオキシベンゾフェノン(BPHA)20モル部の代わりに、光重合開始剤として2,4,6-トリメチルベンゾイルジフェニルフォスフィンオキシド(TPO)20モル部を用いた以外は前記と同様の方法で硬化膜を作製した。その硬化膜を削りとり、アセトニトリル:水=90:10(vol/vol)に30分浸漬した。浸漬後の上澄み液を液体クロマトグラフィーで測定を行い、溶出したTPOの量を測定した。その結果、溶出したTPOの量は添加量の14.8質量%であった。
これらの結果から、本発明の光重合開始剤組成物及び光硬化性組成物は、硬化膜表面への光重合開始剤のブリードアウトを効果的に抑制できることがわかった。
表1及び表2から、実施例1~14の光硬化性組成物は、比較例1~14の光硬化性組成物に比べて低い照射線量でラジカル重合反応を開始させることができることがわかる。また、ホルマール基を有する水素供与性モノマーAを用いることにより、硬化膜の黄変を効果的に抑制できることがわかる。
本発明の光重合開始剤組成物は、光硬化性組成物(例えば、紫外線硬化型インクジェット用インク、及び塗料など)、光硬化性組成物キット(例えば、2液型接着剤、及び2液型粘着剤など)、及び光硬化性樹脂組成物(例えば、感光性樹脂組成物、ハードコート用樹脂組成物、絶縁膜用樹脂組成物、粘着剤組成物、及び接着剤組成物など)に配合される光重合開始剤成分として有用である。
Claims (10)
- エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上有する水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤、及び
エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基を1つ以上と、ホルマール基、第3級アミノ基、チオエーテル基、及び窒素含有複素環からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の水素供与性基とを有するモノマーAを含有する、光重合開始剤組成物。 - 前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤は、ベンゾフェノン型光重合開始剤、キサントン型光重合開始剤、チオキサントン型光重合開始剤、及びアクリドン型光重合開始剤からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。
- 前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有する前記エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基が、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基である、請求項1に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。
- 前記モノマーAが有する前記エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基が、(メタ)アクリロイル基又は(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基であり、かつ前記モノマーAが、ホルマール基又は第3級アミノ基を有する、請求項1に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。
- 前記水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤が有する前記エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基が、アクリロイルオキシ基であり、前記モノマーAが有する前記エチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む官能基が、アクリロイル基又はアクリロイルオキシ基である、請求項1に記載の光重合開始剤組成物。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBとを含有する、光硬化性組成物。
- 前記光硬化性組成物は、紫外線硬化型インクジェット用インクである、請求項6に記載の光硬化性組成物。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の光重合開始剤組成物と、ベースモノマーBを含有するベースモノマー組成物とを有する、光硬化性組成物キット。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の光重合開始剤組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する、光硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項6に記載の光硬化性組成物と、樹脂成分とを含有する、光硬化性樹脂組成物。
