- 100-200 parts by weight correspond to 67-153 parts by volume of skin, so when a cream formulation is mixed with 400-500 parts by volume of lemon juice, even if the purity of the lemon juice in the functional sol is 72-88% by volume, it does not match the cream formulation. Acidity is reduced through high-speed mixing and maturation, thereby alleviating the reluctance to use the analgesic properties of lemon due to its strong acidity.
- the present invention is an initial mixing process of mixing 400 to 500 parts by volume of lemon juice, a natural ingredient, and 100 to 200 parts by weight of a cream formulation containing menthol added to a toothpaste base with wettability, foaming and binding properties, as an initial mixture.
- a manufacturing method that performs a foaming process of mixing to expand ⁇ 3 times to generate foam, and a maturation process of producing a functional sol by maturing it for 24 to 48 hours, as the menthol contained in the cream formulation implements a volatile function. Even when applied to areas with itchy skin troubles, its volatility instantly lowers the temperature of the affected skin by 3 to 4 degrees, providing cooling and reducing itching.

- the present invention uses a conventional toothpaste composition as a toothpaste base, and this toothpaste base contains abrasive (a) and wetting agent (b) as basic ingredients as in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-0482648 and Registration No. 10-0807079, and herein It is composed by adding a foaming agent (c), a binder (d), a fluorine component (e), and an additive (f).
- abrasive a
- wetting agent b
- a foaming agent c
- a binder a binder
- e fluorine component
- f an additive
- the abrasive (a) is intended for mechanical cleaning of teeth and includes precipitated calcium carbonate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium sulfate, magnesium carbonate, magnesium chloride, hydrous alumina, hydrous silica (silicon dioxide), hydrous silicic acid, precipitated silica, silica gel, There are zirconium silicate, aluminum silicate, calcium pyrophosphate, and insoluble metaphosphate, and it usually contains one or two or more of these. These abrasives are required to have a uniform particle size of approximately 1 to 20 ⁇ m, a shape that is not too sensitive, and a hardness of about 3 degrees on the Mohs scale.
- the humectant (b) is an essential base ingredient in making ointment formulations. It prevents drying and solidification when exposed to air and provides gloss to the surface of the paste, and includes glycerin, sorbitol, polyethylene glycol, and propylene glycol, among which are Contains one or more than two.
- the foaming agent (c) improves the feeling of use, assists the cleaning action, speeds the dispersion and penetration of other medicinal agents, and reduces interfacial tension to make it easier for foreign substances to fall off in the oral cavity.
- anionic surfactants such as sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium methyl cocoyl tarurate are mainly used, and depending on the characteristics of the formulation, auxiliary nonionic surfactants such as polyoxyethylene, copolymer of polyoxypropylene, and polyoxyethylene curing are used. Castor oil, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, etc. are additionally used, and include one or two or more of these.
- the binder (d) prevents separation of the solid component in powder form and the liquid component, and any type of water-soluble polymer can be used.
- Commonly used ingredients include carboxymethyl cellulose sodium (CMC-Na) synthesized from tree cellulose, carrageenans extracted from seaweed, and xanthan gum obtained from microbial metabolism, and include one or two or more of these. .

- Vitamins such as tocopherol (vitamin E) and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) are used, and one or two or more of these additives are used. Additionally, flavoring agents, sweeteners, colorants, and preservatives may be used as additional additives.
- Spearmint oil, fruit extract and methyl salicylate, natural flavors such as calendura extract, rosemary extract, natural lemon flavor B30405, and citrus mix flavor HF62946 are used as flavoring agents, and the most common sweeteners include sodium saccharin and steviol glycosides. Titanium oxide is used as a pigment to produce white color. One or more of these are used when making the paste.
- a feature of the present invention is that 0.1 to 3% by weight of menthol is added to 97 to 99.9% by weight of a toothpaste base using a conventional toothpaste composition and used as a cream formulation. If less than 0.1% by weight of menthol is added, the cooling effect is minimal. If menthol is added in excess of 3% by weight, it can cause strong irritation when applied to sensitive areas such as skin tissue around the eyes of animals or in contact with the vulva, or to the entire skin tissue of the body, causing discomfort such as chills in addition to itching. It has been done. This is believed to be due to the function of menthol being volatile and lowering the surrounding temperature by 3 to 4 degrees.
- the most characteristic component of the present invention is mixing 400-500 parts by volume of lemon juice with 100-200 parts by weight of a cream formulation containing menthol added to the conventional toothpaste base described above. If the lemon juice exceeds 500 volumes, foam will not be generated when mixing the lemon juice with the cream formulation, which will reduce the maturation effect and cause skin irritation from lemon acid, which will result in a poor feeling of use. If the amount of lemon juice was less than 400 volumes per skin, skin irritation should be immediately reduced due to the nature of itching, but this was not possible. In addition, when less than 100 parts by weight of the cream formulation was added, foam generation was small when mixed with lemon juice, so animals used it avoided it due to reluctance due to skin irritation due to strong acid due to the stimulation of lemon acid in lemon juice.
- Lemon has antiseptic, antimicrobial, antirheumatic, hypotensive, hemostatic, astringent, insecticidal, anthelmintic, sterilizing, carminative, scar formation, and purifying effects, and lemon oil has a mood-enhancing effect.
- Lemon oil acts to stimulate the mind and overcome mental fatigue.
- Lemon oil is known to effectively increase mental clarity and improve decision-making power without overstimulating the mind.
- lemon oil is excellent at relaxing people who are overly emotionally tense. It also has an excellent effect on strengthening the circulatory system, lowering blood viscosity, helping to break down platelet deposits in arteries, and reducing cholesterol. Additionally, lemon oil's antimicrobial properties make it very effective in treating colds, influenza, bronchitis, and asthma. ⁇ Dictionary of Counseling, 2016. 01. 15., Chun-kyung Kim, Su-yeon Lee, Yun-ju Lee, Jong-jin Jeong, Woong-yong Choi ⁇
- Lemon mainly contains essential oils, coumarin, flavonoids, and glycosides.
- essential oil components the limonene content is very high, over 50%.
- the British Pharmacopoeia stipulates that the content of essential oils contained in dried lemon peels should be more than 2.5% (v/w) when tested by steam distillation for quality control of medicinal substances, and in the United States Pharmacopoeia, it is tested using the ultraviolet spectrophotometric method. It is stipulated that the total aldehyde content converted to citric acid in lemon oil should be 2.2-3.8% (California type) and 3.0-5.5% (Italian type).
- lemon has blood pressure lowering, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antitumor effects.
- Lemon juice contains 5-6% citric acid and is acidic, has a pH of 2.2, and has a low sweetness and strong sour taste.
- the antibacterial effect of the essential oil contained in lemon juice in the present invention is that the hydrophobic essential oil penetrates into the hydrophobic cell membrane, swells the bacterial cell membrane, increases the fluidity of the cell membrane, and consequently increases cell membrane permeability, thereby killing bacterial cells. It is ordered.
- antibiotics used as antibacterial substances were synthesized with only antibacterial ingredients, but natural substances such as essential oils contain not only antibacterial molecules but also quencher molecules that complement and soothe the action. Therefore, it is believed to have no effect on animal skin.
- Menthol in the present invention provides an instantaneous refreshing feeling to the skin when the skin's avoidance reaction (scratching phenomenon) is severe enough to reach an extreme level, and when the ingredients of lemon juice penetrate into the skin, it reduces the feeling of rejection due to strong acidity. It plays a role in offsetting initial skin irritation by delaying the delivery time to the inside of the skin due to the shrinkage of pores due to the volatility of menthol rather than the time it takes to feel it.
- the feeling provided by menthol may temporarily offset the itchiness and have a cooling effect, or it may be perceived as an uncomfortable stimulus. It was completed limited to ⁇ 99.9% by weight, menthol 0.1 ⁇ 3% by weight).
- the best goal may be to reduce itching, but when the skin problem causing itching extends to the entire body, the refreshing sensation that menthol temporarily lowers the skin temperature may lower the overall body temperature and make you feel cold.
- a problem arose When used only on the feet, the itching sensation was cut off and a therapeutic effect occurred, so the dog had no resistance to using the medicine.
- the dog applied the medicine to its entire body and felt a temporary chill due to the effect of menthol it clearly showed a tendency to avoid the medicine thereafter.
- the amount of menthol added to the cream formulation was 0.1 to 3% by weight, it was suitable for use on average. If it is less than 0.1%, the feeling of use is minimal and there is no cooling effect. If it exceeds 3%, if it has to be used in sensitive areas such as the skin tissue around the eyes or in contact with the vulva, or on the entire skin tissue of the body at once, the irritation is strong, causing uncomfortable sensations other than itching. (chills, etc.)
- Menthol is an alcohol belonging to the monoterpene family consisting of one ring, and is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves or stems of mint. Chemical formula C 10 H 20 O, molecular weight 156.27 g/mol, white/colorless crystalline solid, melting point 41.6°C. , boiling point is 212°C, specific gravity is 0.890 (15°C).
- 100 to 200 parts by weight were prepared and mixed with 400 to 500 parts by weight of lemon juice, and the toothpaste base of the present invention was prepared as shown in Table 1.

- Example 6 100g 67ml 500ml [88 volumes] Figure 19 ⁇ Figure 29
- Examples 1 and 2 of Table 2 above are, as shown in Figures 1 to 15, the dog's mouth ( Figures 1 to 6), ears (Figures 7 to 9), anus ( Figures 13 to 13), and soles ( Figures 14 to 15), the lemon content is set to 72 to 75% by volume to suit the reduction of skin troubles caused by localized itching.
- the wettability of the cream-type toothpaste base, the dispersibility of the foaming agent, and the combination of lemon juice by the binder It functions to allow lemon juice to penetrate even when ooze or pods form due to irritation, and the cooling sensation caused by menthol and the decrease in temperature cause the pores of the skin epidermis to shrink, thereby preventing the transmission of puritoceptives, which cause itching, to the central nervous system. Since the transmission is blocked, skin problems are immediately reduced.
- Figures 1 to 29 are pictures taken of itchy skin troubles in animals for each area, and the pictures in which the itching is reduced and the skin troubles disappear are normal pictures, so they are not attached separately.
- Example 1 The difference in volume for the same weight of 100 g of the cream formulation in Examples 1 and 2 is that the specific gravity of the cream formulation was 1.3 in Example 1 and 1.5 in Example 2. This is believed to be due to differences in moisture content.
- the toothpaste base contains a humectant (b), foaming agent (c), and binder (d)
- the humectant (b) maintains the cream form and prevents drying and solidification when applied to itchy skin, thereby maintaining the sterilizing effect.
- the dead skin cells separated from the skin are still moistened with lemon juice, preventing secondary infection.
- the foaming agent (c) performs a surfactant function, it reduces the surface tension of the lemon juice and allows the lemon juice to be evenly distributed and applied to the itchy skin, thereby improving the functionality of killing bacteria caused by skin troubles. .
- the binder (d) functions to prevent the inorganic and organic powder ingredients from being separated from the lemon juice, so even if the lemon juice is excessively mixed at 400 to 500 parts by volume as in the present invention, it maintains the binding state and maintains the sterilizing function and protects the skin.
- lemon juice By inducing it to have an anti-inflammatory function, lemon juice performs an anti-inflammatory function on itchy skin trouble areas, and even when lemon juice is added at 72 to 88 parts by volume, the pH goes from 2.2 to 2.9 to 3.2 after aging for 24 to 48 hours. Since the fluorine component of the cream formulation performs a cationic surfactant function, it maintains a uniform concentration through bubble generation and maturation during mixing, thereby relieving and normalizing skin problems that cause itchiness in animals. do.
- the volume percentage of lemon juice is added to form 72 to 88 volume percent of the volume of the functional sol, and the pH of the lemon juice is 2.2, which is strongly acidic.
- the pH of the lemon juice is 2.2, which is strongly acidic.
- the pH becomes 2.9. It is reduced to ⁇ 3.2 and by mixing the cream formulation, the neutralizing effect of the cream formulation alleviates the reluctance to use due to the strong acidity of pure lemon juice when applied to animal skin, and at the same time, the volatilization of menthol lowers the temperature and shrinks pores, so lemon juice
- the amount of functional sol remaining on the skin surface increases relatively, increasing sterilization and rapidly reducing itching.
- Example 1 to 6 in Table 2 above were divided into Examples 1 to 6 in which menthol was added in an amount of less than 0.1% by weight, and Experiments 1 to 6 in which menthol was not added. As a result, itching without damaging the skin was performed. In terms of sexual skin troubles, Examples 1 to 6 and Experimental Examples 1 to 6 were confirmed to have similar skin trouble reduction effects. However, Experimental Examples 1 to 6 can be used without any reluctance to use for skin troubles or skin troubles where the skin is damaged due to itching (bleeding or oozing), and the effect of reducing skin troubles is maintained.
- Examples 1 to 6 with the addition of menthol are good for unbearable severe itchy skin troubles
- Experimental Examples 1 to 6 without the addition of menthol are good for sensitive areas around the anus, mouth, and eyes, so there is no feeling of avoidance of use. It was confirmed that it was good and the skin trouble reduction effect was maintained.
- the functional sol and manufacturing method for alleviating itchy skin troubles in animals obtained by mixing and maturing a cream formulation with lemon juice according to the present invention are very useful inventions for healing and alleviating skin troubles in animals and have great industrial applicability. something to do.
