  • FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of the ladder-equipped vehicle during work, viewed from behind.
  • the ladder 9 In a vehicle equipped with a ladder, the ladder 9 is extended, turned, and raised while the outrigger 8 is extended and jacked up. However, when the ladder 9 is turned, the left and right balance is lost and the vehicle tilts about 2 degrees. It may tilt. When the vehicle tilts, the outrigger 8 on one side lifts off the ground, and the rear wheel 1 on the lifted side reduces its load and stretches, continuing to apply force in the direction of overturning the vehicle. For this reason, work vehicles such as ladder-equipped vehicles and boom-equipped vehicles are equipped with shaft lock devices that prevent stability from worsening due to reaction forces of tires and suspensions during working positions.

  • the force with which the arm 4 pulls down the tip 10a of the wire 10 becomes smaller, and the force with which the wire 10 pulls the spring 20 weakens, so the spring 20 contracts.
  • the rear end 10b of the wire 10 moves rearward. As a result, the excess portion of the wire 10 due to the rise of the arm 4 is absorbed by the spring 20, and the slack of the wire 10 can be taken up.
  • the spring 20 contracts and automatically prevents the wire 10 from becoming loose, so that the wire 10 can be maintained in an appropriate state following changes in the vehicle height.
  • the wire tension is relatively low.
  • the air valve 6 cannot be filled with air while the shaft is locked, and the air valve 6 can be filled with air after the shaft lock is released.
  • the vehicle shaft locking device of the present invention can reliably lock the shaft, and can also be used not only for vehicles equipped with leaf suspension but also for vehicles equipped with air suspension, which have a large variation in chassis height (vehicle height). It is possible to effectively prevent the wire 10 from becoming loose during running.
