Definitions
- Patent Document 1 In the light conversion device described in Patent Document 1, when the surface of the phosphor member is irradiated with a laser, the phosphor member is excited by the laser light, converted into light with a wavelength different from that of the excitation light, and extracted. When the wavelength conversion is performed, the excited phosphor member generates heat and the temperature of the phosphor member rises. As the temperature of the phosphor member increases, the wavelength conversion efficiency decreases. Therefore, in Patent Document 1, a heat radiating member is provided to exhaust the heat generated by the phosphor member through the heat radiating member, thereby suppressing the temperature rise of the phosphor member.
