Definitions

  • the invention is situated in the field of trailers for land transport of goods.
  • the invention relates to a structure for trailers comprising a first set of vertical pillars, in which said vertical pillars are arranged in parallel side by side at a distance from each other, a second set of vertical pillars, in which said vertical pillars are arranged parallel side by side at a distance from each other, each vertical pillar of said second set of vertical pillars being facing a corresponding vertical pillar of said first set of vertical pillars, and two longitudinal beams perpendicular to said vertical pillars and said longitudinal beams extending longitudinally along said vertical pillars.
  • Trailers can be classified into two large groups: a) light trailers, which have manual assemblies, low load capacity and limited load weight, since that the load rests on its walls, and b) heavy trailers, which have industrial assemblies and great empty weight, but are very expensive to manufacture and are less flexible in terms of loading goods of different weights and sizes.
  • An example of these trailers is the so-called Tauliner trailer, which is characterized by having its front, doors and sides telescopic, so that the total height of the trailer can be modified.
