Claims (20)
- (a) 일측이 개방되고 타측에 관통 홀이 마련된 바닥부를 구비하는 배터리 하우징을 준비하는 단계;(b) 상기 관통 홀에 전극 단자를 고정하는 단계;(c) 상부 및 하부에 각각 제1무지부로 이루어진 제1전극 탭과 제2무지부로 이루어진 제2전극 탭을 구비하는 전극 조립체를 준비하는 단계;(d) 상기 배터리 하우징의 일 측에 마련된 개방 단부를 통해 상기 배터리 하우징에 상기 제1전극 탭이 상기 바닥부와 마주하도록 상기 전극 조립체를 삽입하는 단계;(e) 상기 제1전극 탭과 상기 전극 단자를 전기적으로 연결하는 단계; 및(f) 상기 개방 단부를 캡 플레이트로 덮어 마감하는 단계;를 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 전극 단자는, 상기 관통 홀을 통해 상기 배터리 하우징의 내부로 삽입되는 단자 삽입부를 포함하고,상기 (b) 단계는,(b1) 상기 전극 단자와 상기 관통 홀 사이에 절연 가스켓을 개재시키는 단계; 및(b2) 상기 단자 삽입부의 단부 가장자리를 반경 방향으로 소성 가공하여 상기 단부 가장자리의 직경을 상기 관통 홀의 직경보다 증가시키는 단계;를 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 (b2) 단계에서, 상기 단부 가장자리를 소성 가공의 최종 형상에 상응하는 구조를 가진 지그를 이용하여 상기 전극 조립체의 축방향을 따라 가압하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 (b2) 단계에서, 소성 가공된 상기 단부 가장자리가 상기 절연 가스켓을 상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부 내측면을 향해 압착하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 (c) 단계는,장변 단부에 제1무지부가 구비된 제1전극과 장변 단부에 제2무지부가 구비된 제2전극을 준비하는 단계;상기 전극 조립체의 권취 방향을 따라 상기 제1무지부와 상기 제2무지부에 복수의 절단홈을 형성하여 상기 제1무지부와 상기 제2무지부를 복수의 구간으로 분할하는 단계;상기 제1무지부와 상기 제2무지부가 축방향으로 대향하도록 상기 제1전극과 상기 제2전극을 배치하고, 상기 제1전극과 상기 제2전극 사이에 분리막을 개재시켜 축을 중심으로 권취함으로써 코어와 외주면이 정의된 전극 조립체를 형성하는 단계; 및상기 제1무지부와 상기 제2무지부를 상기 전극 조립체의 반경 방향을 따라 절곡함으로써 상기 축방향을 따라 무지부가 복수의 겹으로 적층된 구조를 가진 절곡 표면영역을 형성하는 단계;를 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 5에 있어서,상기 (c) 단계는, 상기 제1무지부가 절곡된 표면영역에 제1집전 플레이트를 결합시키는 단계를 포함하고,상기 (e) 단계는, 상기 전극 단자와 상기 제1집전 플레이트를 결합시켜 상기 전극 단자와 상기 제1전극 탭을 전기적으로 연결하는 단계인, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 6에 있어서,상기 (e) 단계는, 상기 전극 조립체의 코어에 있는 중공부를 이용하여 상기 전극 단자와 상기 제1집전 플레이트를 용접하는 단계인, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 7에 있어서,상기 (e) 단계는, 상기 전극 조립체의 코어에 있는 중공부를 통해 상기 전극 단자와 대향하고 있는 상기 제1집전 플레이트의 용접 영역을 향하여 용접 레이저를 조사하는 단계인, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 6에 있어서,상기 제1집전 플레이트와 상기 배터리 하우징 바닥부의 내측면 사이에 인슐레이터를 개재시키는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 (d) 단계 전에,중앙에 관통 홀이 구비되고 상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부 내측면과 대응되는 형상을 가진 인슐레이터를 준비하는 단계; 및상기 인슐레이터의 관통 홀이 상기 전극 단자의 고정 부분을 둘러싸도록 상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부 내측면에 상기 인슐레이터를 설치하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 (d) 단계 전에,중앙에 관통 홀이 구비되고 상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부 내측면과 대응되는 형상을 가진 인슐레이터를 준비하는 단계; 및상기 인슐레이터의 관통 홀이 상기 전극 조립체의 코어 상에 위치하도록 상기 인슐레이터를 상기 제1집전 플레이트 상에 고정하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 전극 조립체의 제2전극 탭에 제2집전 플레이트를 결합하는 단계; 및상기 제2집전 플레이트의 적어도 일부를 상기 배터리 하우징의 내측면과 결합하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 12에 있어서,상기 배터리 하우징의 개방 단부의 외주면을 상기 배터리 하우징의 내측을 향해 압입하여 비딩부를 형성하는 단계;상기 제2집전 플레이트의 적어도 일부 영역을 상기 제2전극 탭과 용접하는 단계; 및상기 제2집전 플레이트 가장자리의 소정 영역을 상기 비딩부의 내측면과 접촉시키는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 13에 있어서,상기 소정 영역이 상기 비딩부의 내측면에 도달될 수 있도록 상기 소정 영역과 인접한 상기 제2집전 플레이트의 가장자리 영역을 절곡하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.

- 청구항 13에 있어서,상기 캡 플레이트의 가장자리와 상기 배터리 하우징의 개방 단부 사이에 실링 가스켓을 개재시키는 단계; 및상기 배터리 하우징의 개방 단부를 구심 방향으로 절곡시켜 상기 실링 가스켓과 함께 상기 캡 플레이트의 가장자리를 상기 개방 단부에 고정시키는 크림핑부를 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 16에 있어서,상기 크림핑부는 상기 실링 가스켓을 가압하여 상기 소정 영역을 상기 비딩부의 내측면에 밀착시키는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 캡 플레이트의 양면 중 적어도 한쪽 면에 벤팅 홈을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 (f) 단계 전에,상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부가 지면을 향하도록 상기 배터리 하우징을 세우는 단계; 및상기 배터리 하우징의 내부로 전해질을 주입하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리의 제조방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 (f) 단계 이후에, 상기 배터리 하우징의 바닥부가 상부를 향하도록 상기 배터리 하우징을 세우는 단계; 및상기 배터리 하우징 바닥부의 외측면 중 상기 전극 단자가 노출된 영역을 제외한 영역과 상기 전극 단자를 이용하여 전기적 배선을 수행하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 배터리 제조방법.
