Definitions
- the proposed solution relates to a fitting arrangement for the adjustable connection of two vehicle parts according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for assembling a fitting arrangement.
- Such a fitting arrangement comprises a first fitting, a second fitting and an actuating shaft which effectively connects the fittings to one another.
- the two vehicle parts can be adjusted via each of the fittings, e.g. pivoted, connected to one another or connected.
- Such a fitting arrangement is described in DE 10 2009 035 999 A1 and can be used, for example, on a vehicle seat and can connect a seat part of the vehicle seat to a backrest part of the vehicle seat.
- the fitting arrangement can be used to adjust the inclination of the backrest part relative to the seat part, the fittings being designed as locking fittings, for example, and being able to be actuated via the actuating shaft, which can be connected to a suitable actuating lever for this purpose.
- the first fitting can be arranged, for example, on the tunnel side, ie toward the center of the vehicle, and the second fitting can be arranged on the vehicle seat on the door side.
- the actuating shaft extends from the side of the first fitting to the side of the second fitting and is movable, in particular rotatable, about the axis of rotation for simultaneous actuation of the first fitting and the second fitting.
- Embodiments of locking fittings, when they are actuated, unlocking bolts are disengaged from a toothing for the purpose of adjusting the inclination of a backrest part are known, for example, from DE 10 2019 104 712 A1 and WO 00/44582 A1.
- fitting arrangements of the generic type there is the basic situation that the fittings used (i.e. the first fitting, for example arranged on the tunnel side, and the second fitting, for example arranged on the door side), are generally to be actuated in a uniform manner in such a way that both fittings are unlocked at the same time for release be, for example, to allow a tilt adjustment of a backrest. If the fittings are not actuated at the same time, one fitting may already be unlocked while the locking elements provided for the other fitting have not yet been completely disengaged, which can block or at least impede the adjustment of the inclination and, in the worst case, even damage the fitting arrangement can.
- a direct coupling of the fittings by means of a shaft arranged coaxially to the fittings is not possible due to the installation space.
- an operative connection of the two fittings can be made possible by a parallel offset actuating shaft and by coupling components. It is controlled, for example, on the door side by means of a manually operated handle. Due to the subsequently relatively high number of components between the fittings, the number of tolerance-influencing partners between the fittings also increases. This could mean that a fitting can be kept open on one side and is therefore not securely locked, which can result in a strength risk, or that a fitting cannot be unlocked on one side, which can result in a functional risk. In order to prevent such situations, the individual components are, for example, manufactured with a high degree of precision, which, however, can result in correspondingly complex production.
- the object is to provide a further improved fitting arrangement. This object is solved by an object with the features of claim 1.
- At least (or precisely) one of the fittings of the fitting arrangement is operatively connected to the actuating shaft via a coupler, the coupler comprising two parts which can be fixed in different positions relative to one another.
- the length of the belt can be adjusted in particular.
- the length of the belt can be adjusted and fixed, for example, during the assembly process.
- each of the vehicle parts can comprise one or more individual parts.
- the fittings can be switched from a locked state to an unlocked state.
- the actuating shaft establishes an operative connection between the fittings, e.g. in such a way that the states of the fittings are coupled. If, for example, one of the fittings is unlocked, then the other fitting is also unlocked via the actuating shaft.
- the two parts of the belt can (before being fixed to one another) be mounted on one another so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to one another, in particular for adjusting the length of the belt. This enables easy adjustment.
- the fitting arrangement includes, for example, a fixing device, by means of which the two parts of the belt can be fixed or fixed in relation to one another in a materially bonded and/or form-fitting and/or non-positive manner.
- the fixing device includes a clamp with a cutting blade. This can cut into one of the parts of the belt to fix the two parts of the belt. This enables stepless adjustment. Furthermore, this allows a particularly simple construction.
- the clip has a latching element which can be latched in a pre-assembly position and/or in a final assembly position with a latching element or with latching elements on one of the parts of the coupling.
- The enables the belt to be pre-assembled and particularly easy to fix during assembly.
- the fixing device includes at least one latching tooth for engaging in at least one opening of the coupling.
- the at least one locking tooth is provided on one of the parts of the coupling; the opening may be formed on the other of the parts of the belt.
- the fixing device comprises at least one press-in bolt, which can be inserted or used, for example, in one of several holding positions on the belt. This enables a particularly secure fixation.
- the fixing device includes a pressing element, e.g. in the form of a tube or a sleeve, which can be pressed or pressed into at least one depression by plastic deformation in order to fix the two parts of the belt to one another.
- a pressing element e.g. in the form of a tube or a sleeve, which can be pressed or pressed into at least one depression by plastic deformation in order to fix the two parts of the belt to one another.
- the fixation device comprises a thread, for example wound around an axis extending along the length of the belt. A particularly precise adjustment can be made possible in this way.
- a securing sleeve can be or can be brought into engagement with the thread and/or an anti-twist device. This can prevent an unwanted adjustment.
- the fixing device includes at least one self-tapping screw, which can be screwed, for example, with a slot. This allows a simple and at the same time stepless adjustment.
- the coupler is, for example, pivotably mounted on an actuating device, in particular an actuating lever, of at least one of the fittings.
- the actuating lever is pivotably mounted, for example, on an axis of the fitting, it being possible for the coupler to be mounted eccentrically to the axis of the fitting on the actuating lift. This allows for a robust actuation mechanism.
- the coupler can be mounted pivotably on a connecting element connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the actuating shaft.
- the coupler can be articulated on the connecting element so as to be pivotable eccentrically to an axis of rotation of the actuating shaft.
- Another (the other) of the fittings can be operatively connected to the actuating shaft via a rigid, in particular one-piece coupling. It can thus be provided that both fittings are each operatively connected to the actuating shaft via a coupler, with one coupler being adjustable and the other being rigid (that is to say not adjustable). This is based on the knowledge that, in order to compensate for the tolerances, it is sufficient to design one of the two couplers to be adjustable, which also enables a simple construction.
- the rigid coupler can (e.g. analogously to the adjustable coupler) be mounted pivotably on an actuating device, e.g.
- one of the connecting elements in particular the connecting element on which the rigid coupler is pivotally mounted, includes an adjusting lever that can be actuated manually. This allows easy handling. Tolerances can be compensated for in a particularly effective manner, in particular if the adjustable coupler is arranged on the side opposite the adjusting lever.
- the fittings are in particular aligned coaxially with one another along a common pivot axis.
- the actuating shaft can be offset, in particular offset parallel to this pivot axis of the fittings. In this way, the fitting arrangement can also be used in the case of restricted installation space.
- each of the fittings comprises an eccentric rotatable about an axis, which urges one or more locking bolts, which are mounted on one of the fitting parts so as to be displaceable perpendicularly to this axis, into engagement with a toothing of the other fitting part.
- the locking bar(s) can be disengaged from the toothing, for example by means of a spring preload, in order to unlock the fitting parts and rotate them relative to one another.
- Locking fittings allow the vehicle parts to be adjusted particularly quickly relative to one another.
- the fittings can generally be transferred by actuation from a locking position that locks the two vehicle parts together into a release position, with the two vehicle parts being adjustable relative to one another in the release position.
- a vehicle seat is provided.
- the vehicle seat includes a seat portion and a backrest portion as the vehicle portions which are adjustably interconnected by the hardware assembly of any embodiment described herein.
- a method for assembling a fitting arrangement in particular a fitting arrangement according to any configuration described herein.
- the length of the belt e.g. the length of the longest side of the belt and/or the distance between two pivot points of the belt
- the two parts of the belt are fixed relative to one another, in particular with a fixing device described herein.

- the coupling 12A comprises two parts 120A, 121A, which can be fixed to one another in different positions relative to one another by means of a fixing device 13A, as will be explained in detail further below.
- the other of the fittings 10A, 10B in this case the second fitting 10B, is operatively connected to the actuating shaft 11 via a non-adjustable, rigid coupling 14 .
- the rigid coupling 14 is formed in one piece.
- the fittings 10A, 10B are spaced from each other.
- the fittings 10A, 10B each have a first fitting part 101 which is fixedly connected to a seat part 20 (only indicated in FIG. 1).
- the fittings 10A, 10B each have a second fitting part 102 which is firmly connected to a backrest part 21 (also only indicated in FIG. 1).
- the fittings 10A, 10B can be unlocked by actuating the fittings 10A, 10B, so that the fitting parts 101, 102 can be rotated about a pivot axis Y relative to one another.
- the backrest part 21 can thus be pivoted about the pivot axis Y relative to the seat part 20 .
- the actuating shaft 11 is rotatably mounted on the seat part 20 (alternatively on a seat base carrying the seat part 20) about an axis parallel to the pivot axis Y (and arranged at a distance therefrom).
- Each of the fittings 10A, 10B comprises an eccentric rotatable about an axis 103, which urges a plurality of locking bolts, which are mounted on one of the fitting parts 101, 102 so as to be displaceable perpendicularly to this axis, into engagement with a circumferential internal toothing of the other fitting part 101, 102 (in Fig. 1 on second fitting 10B indicated by dashed lines).
- the locking bolts By rotating the eccentric, the locking bolts can be disengaged from the internal toothing in order to unlock the fitting parts 101, 102 and rotate them relative to one another.
