スキンケア及びメークアップ用の化粧品組成物には、様々な効果を付与する目的でシリカ原料を用いることが一般的である。例えば、ベアリング効果として滑り性が向上し滑らかな使用感を与えたり、皮脂吸収剤としてパウダーファンデーションにも使用され、光散乱によるソフトフォーカス効果により毛穴やシワを目立たなくさせる効果もある。
また、多孔質シリカは徐放性材料ともなりうる。徐放性材料とは、例えば薬剤や美顔成分、栄養剤、香料等の作用物質(以下、徐放性物質とも呼ぶ。)を徐々に放出することができる材料のことを言う。徐放性材料は、作用物質を徐々に放出することで作用物質の効果を長時間維持することができ、少ない作用物質の投与でも効果的に所望の作用を得ることが可能となる。
特許文献1には、多孔質シリカに、メントール、揮発性物質、温熱性物質、植物ポリフェノールおよび有機色素からなる群より選択される物質が担持された、物質担持多孔質シリカが記載されている。
特許文献2には、相互に連結したメソ孔を有する金属酸化物多孔質粒子と、徐放性物質と、を含む徐放性材料であって、上記メソ孔の細孔構造が3次元キュービック相構造であり、上記徐放性物質が、温度感受性TRPチャネル刺激物質、香料、殺虫成分、昆虫成長制御成分、入浴剤成分および生薬から選択される少なくとも一種を含む、多孔質シリカが記載されている。
しかしながら、従来のシリカ原料は、細孔は空いているもののその孔の大きさは小さく、かつ、内部まで徐放材が入り込むにはシリカの連結壁(孔)が邪魔をしていた。そのため、香りなどを長時間持続させる効果が弱いという問題があった。
本発明は、上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、シリカ内部に保持されるフレグランス成分の量が多く、香りが長時間持続する化粧料を提供することを課題とする。

本発明によれば、シリカ内部に保持されるフレグランス成分の量が多く、香りが長時間持続する化粧料を提供することができる。
以下、本発明の一実施形態に係る化粧品用組成物及び塗布方法について詳細に説明する。
<化粧料>
本発明の一実施形態に係る化粧料(以下、「本実施形態の化粧料」と称する場合がある)は、シリカを主成分とする相と空気相とからなる2相共連続型シリカ構造体を含む。該2相共連続型シリカ構造体は、シリカの化学結合がQ4結合で構成されている。

従来の多孔質シリカの平均細孔径が0.5~30nmであるのに対し、本実施形態における2相共連続シリカ構造体は、好ましくは空気相の直径が10~1000nmの範囲である。つまり、本実施形態における2相共連続シリカ構造体は、従来の多孔質シリカに比べて、細孔の大きさが非常に大きいことに加えて、空洞トンネル(空気相)は粒子内部にまで貫通している。本実施形態では、上記のような特性を有する2相共連続シリカ構造体を化粧品の原材料として使用する。そのため、細孔の大きさが大きく空洞トンネルが内部まで貫通していることにより、シリカ内部に取り込むことができるフレグランス成分が増大し、徐々に放出することにより香りを長時間持続させることが出来る。
次いで、本実施形態の化粧料に含まれる各構成成分について、以下に詳細を説明する。
<2相共連続型シリカ構造体>
シリカの工業製造またはラボ研究での製造では、いずれも水の存在下で反応を行う。その限り、得られるシリカには、シラノール基が必然的に多く生成することになる。従って、現在のシリカ製造ルートではQ4構造を高い含有率で付与することは不可能である。本発明では、既存のシリカ合成法で得るシリカそのものを前駆体原料とし、その固体状態のSi-OH基からの脱水化反応を行うことを基本とした。そのためには、高温加熱だけでは不可能なので、高温昇華性を示すモリブデン化合物とシリカとの親和性を利用し、シラノール基近傍に金属酸化物の蒸気を浸透させ、そこでシリカが削られる(モリブデン化合物がシラノールの脱水触媒として機能する)戦略を考案したものである。その結果として、シリカの化学結合がQ4結合で構成され、かつその構造体の外表面から内部全体までに空洞トンネルが貫通し、シリカと空気の2相がお互いに連続相となることを見出したものである。

また、本発明では、特定量のモリブデン化合物とシリカとを特定温度条件で反応されることにより、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである2相共連続型シリカ構造体となることを見出したものである。
なお、本発明における2相共連続型シリカ構造体は、昇華しきれずにシリカ表面に残った酸化モリブデンが少量存在してもよい。その意味で、「主成分とする」とは構造体を形成する固体部分の85質量%以上がシリカであることをいうものであり、好ましくは、90質量%以上、さらに好ましくは97質量%以上がシリカであるこというものである。以下、本発明を詳細に述べる。
[前躯体シリカ(X)]
本発明において前駆体として使用するシリカとしては、アモルファスシリカであれば特に限定されず、例えば、シリカゲル、シリカナノ粒子、メソポーラスシリカなどの人工合成されたシリカ系材料、またはバイオシリカなど自然界にあるシリカなどが使用できる。
本発明において前駆体として使用するシリカとしては、アモルファスシリカであれば特に限定されず、例えば、シリカゲル、シリカナノ粒子、メソポーラスシリカなどの人工合成されたシリカ系材料、またはバイオシリカなど自然界にあるシリカなどが使用できる。
前躯体シリカ(X)の比表面積についても、特に限定されるものではないが、空気相を連続体(貫通孔)として容易に形成できる点から、その比表面積が10m2/g以上であることが好ましく、100m2/g以上であることがより好ましい。
前躯体シリカ(X)の形状としても、特に限定されるものではない。ミクロンサイズ以上の全体形状はそのまま維持されて、2層共連続型シリカ構造体を形成できるため、目的に応じて適切な形状の前躯体シリカ(X)を選択することが好ましい。例えば、球状、無定形、アスペクトのある構造体(ワイヤ、ファイバー、リボン、チューブなど)、シートなどを好適に用いることができる。
前躯体シリカ(X)の全体サイズについても、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、ミクロンサイズ以上のシリカ粒子を使用した場合には、1個の粒子のそのサイズを維持したまま共連続型シリカ構造体を形成することができ、粒子径の小さいシリカ粒子を用いた場合は複数の粒子を融合して、大きな共連続型シリカ構造体を形成することもできる。
また、前躯体シリカ(X)は、シリカのみからなるものであっても、シリカと有機化合物との複合体であってもよい。例えば、有機シランを用いて、シリカを修飾して得られる有機/無機複合体、ポリマーを吸着したシリカ複合体などであっても好適に用いることができる。これらの複合体を用いる場合の、有機化合物の含有率としては、特に制限はないが、2相共連続型シリカ構造体を効率的に製造する観点から、当該含有率は60質量%以下であることが好ましく、30質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
[モリブデン化合物(Y)]
本発明において、Q4結合で構成されたシリカ構造体とするためには、モリブデン化合物(Y)を用いることを必須とする。モリブデン化合物としては、酸化モリブデンであっても、モリブデン金属が酸素との結合からなる酸根アニオン(MOx n-)を含有する化合物であっても良い。
本発明において、Q4結合で構成されたシリカ構造体とするためには、モリブデン化合物(Y)を用いることを必須とする。モリブデン化合物としては、酸化モリブデンであっても、モリブデン金属が酸素との結合からなる酸根アニオン(MOx n-)を含有する化合物であっても良い。
前記モリブデン金属が酸素との結合からなる酸根アニオン(MOx
n-)を含有する化合物としては、高温焼成によって酸化モリブデンに転化することができれば、特に限定しない。例えば、モリブデン酸、H3PMo12O40、H3SiMo12O40、NH4Mo7O12などを好適に用いることができる。これらの中でも、コストの面を考えた場合は、酸化モリブデンを直接用いることが好ましい。
[混合と焼成]
本発明では、前躯体シリカ(X)と、モリブデン化合物とを混合し、その混合物(A)を焼成することで、シラノール基が実質的に消失し、Q4結合で構成されてなるシリカを主成分とする相と空気相とからなる2相共連続型シリカ構造体を形成することを特徴とするものである。

上記混合物(A)の仕込み比としては、前駆体シリカ(X)に対して、モリブデン化合物(Y)を、酸化モリブデンに換算して、15質量%以下であることが好ましく、1~15質量%の範囲内にすることがより好ましく、1.5~10質量%の範囲内にすることが更に好ましく、3~10質量%の範囲にすることが更に好ましい。モリブデン化合物(Y)の量が上記の好ましい範囲内であることにより、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスとなりやすく、2相共連続型シリカ構造体の形成を効率的に行いやすい。
また、混合物(A)を調製するプロセスについては、特に限定はなく、例えば、溶媒を使わない乾式での混合、あるいは溶媒を介しての湿式混合であってもよい。
上記焼成については、酸化モリブデンが昇華する温度であれば良く、具体的には600~1000℃の範囲が好ましく、700~1000℃の範囲がより好ましく、800~1000℃の範囲が更に好ましい。焼成温度が上記の好ましい範囲内であると、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスとなりやすく、2相共連続型シリカ構造体の形成を効率的に行いやすい。
上記混合物(A)の仕込み比が、前駆体シリカ(X)に対して、モリブデン化合物(Y)が1~5質量%である場合、上記焼成温度は、600~1000℃の範囲が好ましく、700~1000℃の範囲がより好ましく、800~1000℃の範囲が更に好ましい。 上記混合物(A)の仕込み比が、前駆体シリカ(X)に対して、モリブデン化合物(Y)が5質量%超~15質量%である場合、上記焼成温度は、600~900℃の範囲が好ましく、700~900℃の範囲がより好ましく、800~900℃の範囲が更に好ましい。
上記焼成の雰囲気について、酸素存在下であれば特に限定されず、安全性とコストの面を考えた場合は空気雰囲気がより好ましい。
[2相共連続型シリカ構造体]
前躯体シリカ(X)とモリブデン化合物(Y)との混合物(A)を600~1000℃の範囲で焼成することで、酸化モリブデンが前駆体シリカ(X)の孔の表面に付着膜を形成する。このような表面に付着膜を有するシリカを更に高温で焼成すると、酸化モリブデンが昇華すると共に、シリカ中のシラノール基が実質的に消失し、シリカ構造体の全般に連続した(貫通した)ナノサイズの空洞とQ4結合からなるシリカの三次元ネットワーク骨格との2相共連続型シリカ構造体が形成される。即ち、高温焼成において、酸化モリブデンが、シラノール基の脱水反応触媒として機能すると考えられる。この時、前駆体シリカ(X)とモリブデン化合物との使用割合、焼成温度或いは前駆体シリカ(X)のポア性質(孔の大きさ、分布等)などを選択することにより、所望の2相共連続型シリカ構造体の化学性質とナノ構造とを制御することができる。
前躯体シリカ(X)とモリブデン化合物(Y)との混合物(A)を600~1000℃の範囲で焼成することで、酸化モリブデンが前駆体シリカ(X)の孔の表面に付着膜を形成する。このような表面に付着膜を有するシリカを更に高温で焼成すると、酸化モリブデンが昇華すると共に、シリカ中のシラノール基が実質的に消失し、シリカ構造体の全般に連続した(貫通した)ナノサイズの空洞とQ4結合からなるシリカの三次元ネットワーク骨格との2相共連続型シリカ構造体が形成される。即ち、高温焼成において、酸化モリブデンが、シラノール基の脱水反応触媒として機能すると考えられる。この時、前駆体シリカ(X)とモリブデン化合物との使用割合、焼成温度或いは前駆体シリカ(X)のポア性質(孔の大きさ、分布等)などを選択することにより、所望の2相共連続型シリカ構造体の化学性質とナノ構造とを制御することができる。
本実施形態における2相共連続型シリカ構造体は、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスであることが好ましい。すなわち、本発明の2相共連続型シリカ構造体は、実質的に結晶質シリカを含まないことが好ましい。2相共連続型シリカ構造体が、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである場合、2相共連続型シリカ構造体は有害性が低く、メイクアップ化粧品、ネイル製品、日焼け止め製品、スキンケア化粧品、ボディケア製品、パック製品等の各種化粧品用途に使用することが可能である。
本実施形態における2相共連続型シリカ構造体は、2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量が2.0質量%以下であることが好ましい。2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量が2.0質量%以下となるように上記混合物(A)の仕込み比を適宜選択することにより、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである2相共連続型シリカ構造体が得られる。
2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量は、0.5~1.9質量%の範囲であることが好ましく、0.5~1.8質量%の範囲であることがより好ましく、0.5~1.8質量%の範囲であることが更に好ましい。2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量が上記の好ましい範囲内であると、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである2相共連続型シリカ構造体がより確実に得られやすい。
2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量は、0.5~1.9質量%の範囲であることが好ましく、0.5~1.8質量%の範囲であることがより好ましく、0.5~1.8質量%の範囲であることが更に好ましい。2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量が上記の好ましい範囲内であると、シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである2相共連続型シリカ構造体がより確実に得られやすい。
本実施形態における2相共連続型シリカ構造体における空気相の直径としては、10~1000nmの範囲であり、特に50~1000nmの範囲のものが好適に得られる。焼成温度を上げたり、混合物(A)中のモリブデン化合物(Y)の含有量を増やしたり、更には高い比表面積を有する前駆体シリカ(X)を用いたりすることで、2相共連続型シリカ構造体における空洞トンネル(空気相)の直径を大きくすることができる。
本実施形態における2相共連続型シリカ構造体におけるシリカネットワークは、ナノワイヤを基本構造とし、これが三次元でネットワークを形成している。ナノワイヤの太さは5~1000nmの範囲であり、特に30~500nmの範囲のものが好適に得られる。焼成温度を上げたり、混合物(A)中のモリブデン化合物の含有量を増やしたり、更には高い比表面積を有する前躯体シリカ(X)を用いたりすることで、2相共連続型シリカ構造体におけるナノワイヤ状のシリカの太さを太くすることができる。
前躯体シリカ(X)と比較すると、得られる2相共連続型シリカ構造体の比表面積は大幅に低減している。前躯体シリカ(X)の性状と焼成条件にもよるが、得られる2相共連続型シリカ構造体の比表面積は0.1~200m2/gの範囲であり、0.1~50m2/gの範囲のものが好適に得られる。
高温焼成処理により、用いたモリブデン化合物の殆どは昇華し、シリカを主成分とするシリカ構造体を形成する。しかし、昇華しきれないモリブデン化合物が2相共連続型シリカ構造体に少量で含まれることがある。それらの含有率は5質量%以下であり、特に十分な焼成時間と焼成温度により、それらの含有率を1質量%以下にすることができる。
2相共連続型シリカ構造体中のモリブデン化合物は、シリカの外表面と内部にて非結晶性構造を形成している。これらの酸化物は、アンモニア水溶液又は水酸化ナトリウム水溶液で洗浄することで、除去することができる。
酸化モリブデンは高温時に脱水触媒として機能することで、2相共連続型シリカ構造体が形成するが、その結合状態は29Si-CP/MAS NMR測定により確認できる。2相共連続型シリカ構造体における三次元シリカネットワーク自体は通常のシリカとは異なり、Q4結合からなる構造であり、石英ガラスのシリカと類似する。
通常のシリカゲルは、シラノール基が大量に存在するために、耐アルカリ性が非常に弱い。これに対して、本発明の2相共連続型シリカ構造体はシラノール基を実質的に有さないことから、優れた耐アルカリ性を示す。例えば、0.1mol/L以下の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液中では、室温(25~30℃)、1ヶ月間でも加水分解が見られず、2相共連続構造を初期のまま維持できる。
また、0.1mol/L以上の高濃度水酸化ナトリウム水溶液中では、2相共連続型シリカ構造体におけるシリカワイヤー表面がエッチングされ、共連続体の形状を維持したままシリカネットワークの基礎構造であるワイヤの太さを細く変化させることができる。
また、本発明の構造体は、シラノール基を実質的に有さないことにより、構造体表面の極性が大幅に低下している。従って、前躯体シリカ(X)よりも2相共連続型シリカ構造体は水蒸気の吸着が非常に低くなっている。
<その他成分>
本実施形態の化粧品用組成物は、上記二相共連続型シリカ構造体に加えて、化粧品に許容される各種成分を含有することができる。当該各種成分としては、例えば、活性成分、着色剤、担体、増粘剤、界面活性剤、結合剤、保存剤、ポリマー、芳香剤、収斂剤、精油、固化防止剤、消泡剤、緩衝剤、充填剤、変性剤、pH調整剤、噴射剤、還元剤、隔離剤、化粧用殺生物剤、防腐剤等が挙げられる。
本実施形態の化粧品用組成物は、上記二相共連続型シリカ構造体に加えて、化粧品に許容される各種成分を含有することができる。当該各種成分としては、例えば、活性成分、着色剤、担体、増粘剤、界面活性剤、結合剤、保存剤、ポリマー、芳香剤、収斂剤、精油、固化防止剤、消泡剤、緩衝剤、充填剤、変性剤、pH調整剤、噴射剤、還元剤、隔離剤、化粧用殺生物剤、防腐剤等が挙げられる。
[活性成分]
活性成分としては、例えば、UV保護剤、保湿剤、老化防止活性成分、ビタミン類、セルフタンニング剤、ビサボロール(bisabolol)、ラクトパーオキシダーゼ(LPO)、エクトイン(ectoine)及びその誘導体 、エンブリカ(emblica)、アラントイン(allantoin)、バイオフラボノイド(bioflavonoid)及びその誘導体、植物エキス、リポ酸、レチノキシトリメチルシラン、デヒドロエピアンドロステロン(DHEA)、セラミド類及び擬似セラミド、クレアチン、レスベラトロール、ヒアルロン酸等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
活性成分としては、例えば、UV保護剤、保湿剤、老化防止活性成分、ビタミン類、セルフタンニング剤、ビサボロール(bisabolol)、ラクトパーオキシダーゼ(LPO)、エクトイン(ectoine)及びその誘導体 、エンブリカ(emblica)、アラントイン(allantoin)、バイオフラボノイド(bioflavonoid)及びその誘導体、植物エキス、リポ酸、レチノキシトリメチルシラン、デヒドロエピアンドロステロン(DHEA)、セラミド類及び擬似セラミド、クレアチン、レスベラトロール、ヒアルロン酸等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
UV保護剤としては、例えば、2-エチルヘキシル-p-メトキシシンナメート、ブチルメトキシジベンゾイル-メタン、2-ヒドロキシ-4- トキシベンゾ-フェノン、2-フェニルベンズイミダゾール-5-スルホン酸、オクチルジメチル-p-アミノ安息香酸、オクトクリレン、2-エチルヘキシルN,N-ジメチル-p-アミノベンゾエート、p-アミノ安息香酸、2-フェニルベンズイミダゾール-5-スルホン酸、オクトクリレン、オキシベンゾン、ホモメンチルサリチラート、オクチルサリチラート、4,4-メトキシ-t-ブチルジベンゾイルメタン、4-イソプロピルジベンゾイルメタン、3-ベンジリデンカンファー、3-(4-メチルベンジリデン)カンファー等が挙げられる。これらのUV保護剤は、所望の太陽光線保護指数(SPF)を提供するように選択されることができる。SPFは、通常使用されている、紅斑に対する日焼け止め剤の光防護の測度である。
保湿剤は、一般に多価アルコールである。多価アルコールは、グリセロール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ソルビトール、ヒドロキシプロピルソルビトール、ヘキシレングリコール、1,3-ブチレングリコール、イソプレングリコール、1,2,6-ヘキサントリオール、エトキシル化グリセロール、プロポキシル化グリセロール等が挙げられる。保湿剤の含有量は組成物の総質量に対して、0.5質量%以上50質量%以下とすることができ、1質量%以上15質量%以下が好ましい。
ビタミン類としては、水溶性ビタミンであってもよく、水不溶性ビタミンであってもよい。水溶性ビタミンとしては、例えば、ナイアシンアミド、ビタミンB2、ビタミンB6、ビタミンC、ビオチン等が挙げられる。水不溶性ビタミンとしては、例えば、ビタミンA(レチノール)、ビタミンAパルミテート、アスコルビルテトライソパルミテート、ビタミンE(トコフェロール)、ビタミンEアセテート、DL-パンテノール等が挙げられる。ビタミン類の含有量は、組成物の総質量に対して0.001質量%以上10質量%以下とすることができ、0.01質量%以上1質量%以下が好ましく、0.1質量%以上0.5質量%以下がより好ましい。
セルフタンニング剤としては、例えば、特に、ジヒドロキシアセトン(DHA)、エリトルロース等が挙げられる。
植物エキスは水溶性であってもよく、水不溶性であってもよく、親水性又は疎水性の溶媒に担持されることができる。植物エキスとしては、例えば、緑茶、カモミール、ローズ、カンゾウ、アロエベラ、グレープシード、温州ミカン、レモン、レモングラス、ヤナギ樹皮、セージ、タイム及びローズマリー等のエキスが挙げられる。
セラミド類としては、例えば、セラミド1、セラミド3、セラミド3B、セラミド6等が挙げられる。
[着色剤]
着色剤としては、上記二相共連続型シリカ構造体に該当しないその他顔料も併せて用いることができる。その他顔料としては、着色顔料、体質顔料等の各種顔料が挙げられる。 前記着色顔料としては、求める色相や性能にあわせて従来公知の顔料を適宜使用することができ、例えば、アゾ系、ベンツイミダゾロン系、イソインドリノン・イソインドリン系、フタロシアニン系、キナクリドン系、ジオキサジン系、ジケトピロロピロール系、キノフタロン系、ペリレン・ペリノン系、チオインジゴ系、アントラキノン系、スレン系、等の有機顔料、酸化鉄、カーボンブラック、酸化チタン、硫化亜鉛、等の無機顔料が挙げられる。また、着色剤としては、複数層顔料又は干渉顔料を含めたエフェクト顔料を用いることもでき、具体的には、例えば、真珠光沢顔料等が挙げられる。真珠光沢顔料としては、例えば、フィロシリケート、例えば、天然又は合成マイカ、タルク、セリサイト、カオリン又はその他のシリケート材料を含む、フレーク形態の、透明又は半透明物質を基にした顔料である。真珠光沢顔料は、着色又は無色金属酸化物、例えば、TiO2、チタニウムサブオキシド、チタニウムオキシナイトライド、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、FeOOH、SnO2、Cr2O3、ZnO、CuO、NiO及びその他の金属酸化物により、単独で又は混合物として、単一層において又は連続層において被覆されている。
真珠光沢顔料は、表面上に、ベルリンブルー又はカルミンレッドの層を更に有してもよい。
着色剤としては、上記二相共連続型シリカ構造体に該当しないその他顔料も併せて用いることができる。その他顔料としては、着色顔料、体質顔料等の各種顔料が挙げられる。 前記着色顔料としては、求める色相や性能にあわせて従来公知の顔料を適宜使用することができ、例えば、アゾ系、ベンツイミダゾロン系、イソインドリノン・イソインドリン系、フタロシアニン系、キナクリドン系、ジオキサジン系、ジケトピロロピロール系、キノフタロン系、ペリレン・ペリノン系、チオインジゴ系、アントラキノン系、スレン系、等の有機顔料、酸化鉄、カーボンブラック、酸化チタン、硫化亜鉛、等の無機顔料が挙げられる。また、着色剤としては、複数層顔料又は干渉顔料を含めたエフェクト顔料を用いることもでき、具体的には、例えば、真珠光沢顔料等が挙げられる。真珠光沢顔料としては、例えば、フィロシリケート、例えば、天然又は合成マイカ、タルク、セリサイト、カオリン又はその他のシリケート材料を含む、フレーク形態の、透明又は半透明物質を基にした顔料である。真珠光沢顔料は、着色又は無色金属酸化物、例えば、TiO2、チタニウムサブオキシド、チタニウムオキシナイトライド、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、FeOOH、SnO2、Cr2O3、ZnO、CuO、NiO及びその他の金属酸化物により、単独で又は混合物として、単一層において又は連続層において被覆されている。
真珠光沢顔料は、表面上に、ベルリンブルー又はカルミンレッドの層を更に有してもよい。
複数層顔料は、マイカ(合成又は天然)、SiO2フレーク、ガラスフレーク、Al2O3フレーク、ポリマーフレークからなる、フレーク形態の、透明、着色又は無色マトリックスを基体とし、一般的に、0.3μm以上5μm以下、好ましくは0.4μm以上2.0μm以下の厚さを有する。幅及び奥行のサイズは、通常、1μm以上250μm以下、好ましくは、2μm以上100μm以下、より好ましくは5μm以上40μm以下である。複数層顔料は、金属酸化物(少なくと2つ)で被覆されたマトリックス(基体)からなる。複数の層での基体フレーク、マイカ、SiO2フレーク、ガラスフレーク、Al2O3フレークのコーティングは、好ましくは、交互に、高い及び低い屈折率層からなる層構造が形成される様な方法において行われる。複数層顔料は、好ましくは、2、3、4、5、6又は7層、より好ましくは、3、4又は5層を含む。適当な高屈折率金属酸化物は、例えば、二酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化鉄、鉄/チタン酸化物(チタン酸鉄)、酸化クロム等が挙げられる、中でも、TiO2又はFe2O3が好ましい。使用される低屈折率酸化物は、SiO2及びAl2O3である。また、複数層顔料において、MgF2又は有機ポリマー(例えば、アクリルポリマー)を目的に応じて使用することができる。なお、ここでいう「コーティング」とは、基体が、1つ又は複数の層で完全に被覆されることを意味する。
干渉顔料は、好ましくは、天然及び合成マイカ、ガラスフレーク、SiO2フレーク、Al2O3フレークを基にした顔料であり、着色又は無色金属酸化物、例えば、TiO2、チタニウムサブオキシド、チタニウムオキシナイトライド、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、SnO2、Cr2O3、ZnO、CuO、NiO及びその他の金属酸化物で、単独で又は混合物として、単一層において又は連続層において被覆されている。
適当なフレーク形態着色剤は、特に真珠光沢顔料、特に、天然又は合成マイカ、SiO2フレーク、Fe2O3フレーク、ガラスフレーク又はAl2O3フレークを基にした顔料であり、金属酸化物層でのみ被覆されている顔料、金属-エフェクト顔料(Alフレーク、ブロンズ)、光学的に可変の顔料(OVP)、液晶ポリマー顔料(LCP)又はホログラフ顔料である。
球状着色剤としては、例えば、TiO2、着色SiO2、CaSO4、酸化鉄、酸化クロム、カーボンブラック、有機着色顔料等が挙げられる。球状着色剤である有機着色顔料としては、例えば、アントラキノン顔料、キナクリドン顔料、ジケトピロロピロール顔料、フタロシアニン顔料、アゾ顔料、イソインドリン顔料が挙げられる。
針状顔料は、BiOCl、着色ガラス繊維、α-FeOOH、有機着色顔料等が挙げられる。針状顔料である有機着色顔料としては、例えば、アゾ顔料、β-フタロシアニンCIBlue15.3、クロモフタールイエロー(Cromophtal Yellow)8GN(Ciba-Geigy)、イルガリスブルー(Irgalith Blue)PD56(Ciba-Geigy)、アゾメチン/銅錯体 CI Yellow 129、イルガジンイエロー(Irgazine Yellow)5GT(Ciba-Geigy)等が挙げられる。
適当な無機着色顔料及び染料としては、天然又は合成のもので、例えば、酸化クロム及びウルトラマリン等が挙げられる。
[担体]
担体としては、例えば、水、皮膚緩和剤、脂肪酸、脂肪族アルコール等が挙げられる。これら担体は1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上組み合わせて用いてもよい。担体は、水性であってもよく、無水物であってもよく、エマルションであってもよい。

皮膚緩和剤としては、例えば、シリコーン油、天然又は合成のエステル、炭化水素等が挙げられる。シリコーン油は揮発性品種及び不揮発性品種に分類される。なお、ここでいう「揮発性」とは、周囲温度で測定可能な蒸気圧を有している材料を表す。揮発性シリコーン油は3個以上9個以下、好ましくは4個又は5個のケイ素原子を有する環状(シクロメチコーン)又は直鎖状のポリジメチルシロキサンから選択される。不揮発性シリコーン油は、例えば、ポリアルキルシロキサン(例えば、ポリジメチルシロキサン等)、ポリアルキルアリールシロキサン、ポリエーテルシロキサンコポリマー、乳化性及び非乳化性のシリコーンエラストマー、シリコーンワックス等が挙げられる。乳化性及び非乳化性のシリコーンエラストマーとしては、例えば、ジメチコン/ビニルジメチコンクロスポリマー等が挙げられる。
エステルとしては、例えば、以下のものが挙げられる。
(a)10個以上24個以下の炭素原子を有する飽和脂肪酸のアルキルエステル。当該アルキルエステルとしては、例えば、ベヘニルネオペンタノエート、イソノニルイソナノノエート、イソプロピルミリステート、オクチルステアレート等が挙げられる;
(b)エトキシル化飽和脂肪アルコールの脂肪酸エステルのようなエーテル-エステル;(c)多価アルコールエステル。多価アルコールエステルとしては、例えば、エチレングリコールモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、ジエチレングリコールモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、ポリエチレングリコール(200-6000)モノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、プロピレングリコールモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、ポリプロピレングリコール2000モノステアレート、エトキシル化プロピレングリコールモノステアレート、グリセリルモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、ポリグリセロールポリ-脂肪エステル、エトキシル化グリセリルモノ-ステアレート、1,3-ブチレングリコールモノステアレート、1,3-ブチレングリコールジステアレート、ポリオキシエチレンポリオール脂肪酸エステル、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ペンタエリトリトール、トリメチロールプロパン、1個以上30個以下の炭素原子を有するアルコールのネオペンチルグリコールエステル等が挙げられる;
(d)蜜蝋、鯨蝋及びトリベヘニンワックスのようなワックスエステル;
(e)スクロースポリベヘネート及びスクロースポリコットンシーデートのような脂肪酸の糖エステル。

(d)蜜蝋、鯨蝋及びトリベヘニンワックスのようなワックスエステル;
(e)スクロースポリベヘネート及びスクロースポリコットンシーデートのような脂肪酸の糖エステル。
天然のエステルとしては、モノ-、ジ-及びトリ-グリセリドを基剤とする。グリセリドとしては、例えば、ヒマワリ種油、綿実油、ルリヂサ油、ルリヂサ種油、サクラソウ油、ヒマシ油、水添ヒマシ油、米ヌカ油、ダイズ油、オリーブ油、ベニバナ油、シアバター、ホホバ油等が挙げられる。動物由来のエステルとしては、例えば、ラノリン油、ラノリン誘導体等が挙げられる。
炭化水素としては、例えば、ペトロラタム、鉱油、11個以上13個以下の炭素原子を有するイソパラフィン、ポリブテン、イソヘキサデカン等が挙げられる。
脂肪酸としては、10個以上30個以下の炭素原子を有する脂肪酸であり、具体的には、例えば、ペラルゴン酸、ラウリン酸、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、イソステアリン酸、オレイン酸、リノール酸、リノレン酸、ヒドロキシステアリン酸、ベヘン酸等が挙げられる。
脂肪族アルコールとしては、10個以上30個以下の炭素原子を有する脂肪族アルコールであり、具体的には、ステアリルアルコール、ラウリルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、オレイルアルコール、セチルアルコール等が挙げられる。
担体の含有量は、組成物の総質量に対して、1質量%以上99.9質量%以下とすることができ、70質量%以上95質量%以下が好ましく、80質量%以上90質量%以下がより好ましい。
[増粘剤]
増粘剤としては、例えば、架橋アクリレート、疎水性に改質されたアクリレート、ポリアクリルアミド、アクリロイルメチルプロパンスルホン酸/塩ポリマー及びコポリマー、セルロース誘導体、天然ガム等が挙げられる。セルロース誘導体としては、例えば、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシメチルセルロース等が挙げられる。天然ガムとしては、例えば、グアー、キサンタン、スクレロチウム、カラゲナン、ペクチン等が挙げられる。無機物、特にベントナイト及びヘクトライトのようなクレー、ヒュームドシリカ、炭酸カルシウム、シリケート(例えば、マグネシウムアルミニウムシリケート)も増粘剤として使用できる。

増粘剤の含有量は、組成物の総質量に対して、0.0001質量%以上10質量%以下とすることができ、0.001質量%以上1質量%以下が好ましく、0.01質量%以上0.5質量%以下がより好ましい。
[界面活性剤]
界面活性剤としては、アニオン性であってもよく、非イオン性であってもよく、カチオン性であってもよく、両性であってもよい。

非イオン性界面活性剤としては、例えば、疎水性基1モルあたり2モル以上100モル以下のエチレンオキシド又はプロピレンオキシドと縮合した10個以上20個以下の炭素原子を有する脂肪族アルコール又は酸疎水性基をもつ界面活性剤、2モル以上20モル以下のアルキレンオキシドと縮合した2個以上10個以下の炭素原子を有するアルキルフェノール、エチレングリコールのモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸エステル、脂肪酸モノグリセリド、ソルビタン、8個以上20個以下の炭素原子を有するモノ-及びジ-脂肪酸、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン、アルキルポリグリコシド、糖脂肪アミド(例えば、メチルグリコンアミド)、トリアルキルアミンオキシド等が挙げられる。
両性界面活性剤としては、例えば、ココアミドプロピルベタイン、12個以上20個以下の炭素原子を有するトリアルキルベタイン、ラウロアンホ酢酸ナトリウム、ラウロジアンホ酢酸ナトリウム等が挙げられる。
界面活性剤の含有量は、組成物の総質量に対して、0.1質量%以上30質量%以下とすることができ、0.1質量%以上15質量%以下が好ましく、0.5質量%以上2質量%以下がより好ましい。
[結合剤]
結合剤は粉末状であってもよく、液体状であってもよい。

液体結合剤としては、例えば、シリコーンオイル、鉱油類等が挙げられる。シリコーンオイルとしては、例えば、メチルフェニルポリシロキサン、ポリジメチルシロキサン等が挙げられる。鉱油類は、石油から得られる炭化水素類の液体混合物である。炭化水素類としては、例えば、パラフィン油、鉱油、ドデカン、イソドデカン、ヘキサデカン、イソヘキサデカン、エイコサン、イソエイコサン、トリデカン、テトラデカン、ポリブテン、ポリイソブテン等が挙げられる。
その他有用な結合剤としては、例えば、イソノナン酸トリデシル、イソステアリン酸イソステアリル、イソステアリン酸イソセチル、イソステアリン酸イソプロピル、イソノナン酸イソデシル(isodecyl isonoanoate)、オクタン酸セチル、イソノナン酸イソノニル、ミリスチン酸ジイソプロピル、リンゴ酸ジイソステアリル、ミリスチン酸イソセチル、ミリスチン酸イソトリデシル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、パルミチン酸イソステアリル、パルミチン酸イソセチル、パルミチン酸イソデシル、パルミチン酸イソプロピル、パルミチン酸オクチル、トリ(カプリル/カプリン酸)グリセリル、トリ-2-エチルヘキサン酸グリセリル、ネオペンチルグリコールジ(2-エチルヘキサノエート)、ジイソプロピルジメレート、トコフェロール、酢酸トコフェロール、アボカド油、ツバキ油、タートル油、マカダミアナッツ油、コーン油、ミンク油、オリーブ油、菜種油、卵黄油、ごま油、パーシック油、麦芽油、サザンカ油(pasanqua oil)、ヒマシ油、亜麻仁油、サフラワー油、綿実油、ペリリック油(perillic oil)、大豆油、ピーナッツ油、茶実油、カヤ油、米糠油、シナ桐油、日本桐油、ホホバ油、米芽油、グリセロールトリオクタノエート(glycerol trioctanate)、グリセロールトリイソパルミテート、トリイソステアリン酸トリメチロールプロパン、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、トリ-2-エチルヘキサン酸グリセロール、テトラ-2-エチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリトール、ラノリン、ラノリン液、パラフィン液、スクワラン、ワセリン、コレステリル誘導体(12-ヒドロキシステアリン酸コレステリル、マカデミアナッツ脂肪酸コレステリル、ステアリン酸コレステリル等)、コハク酸コポリマー(PPG-7コハク酸ポリプロピレングリコールオリゴエステル(35P.O.)等)等が挙げられる。
本実施形態の化粧料の形態は、例えば、溶液、懸濁液、エマルション、ペースト、軟膏、ゲル、クリーム、粉末、スティック、ムース、エアロゾルスプレー、ノンエアロゾルスプレー、布(不織布等)に塗布した配合物等が挙げられる。
本実施形態の化粧料は、メイクアップ化粧品、ネイル製品、日焼け止め製品、スキンケア化粧品、ボディケア製品、パック製品等の各種化粧品に適用することができる。
スキンケア用製品としては、例えば、ローション、昼用クリーム、ナイトクリーム、フェイスマスク、クレンジング製品、洗顔料、整髪剤、ヘアマスク、ヘアリンス、ヘアシャンプー、シャワーゲル、シャワーオイル、バスオイル、ボディー化粧品、日焼け止め等が挙げられ、これらに限定されない。
メイクアップ用製品としては、例えば、ファンデーション、コンシーラー、化粧下地、アイシャドウ、アイライナー、マスカラ、頬紅、口紅、ネイルエナメル等が挙げられ、これらに限定されない。

以下、実施例を示して本発明を詳細に説明するが、本発明は以下の記載によって限定されるものではない。
[製造例1:シリカゲルと酸化モリブデンとの混合物の作製と焼成]
シリカ粒子(AGCエスアイテック社製、サンスフェアH-121、球状、平均粒径10μm)95gと酸化モリブデン(和光社製)5gとを乳鉢で混合し、前躯体シリカと酸化モリブデンとの混合物(A-1)100gを得た。得られた混合物(A-1)100gを電気炉にて800℃で5時間焼成した。酸化モリブデンが殆ど昇華し、約86.8gの白色粉末を得た。続いて、得られた白色粉末の86.8gを0.25%アンモニア水の1Lに分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過によりアンモニア水を除き、水洗浄した。得られたウェットケーキを0.25%塩酸水溶液1Lに再分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過により塩酸水溶液を除き、水洗浄することで、粒子表面に残存するモリブデンを除去し、84.5gのシリカ構造体の粉末を得た。SEMとTEM観察により、得られたシリカ構造体は外表面から内部全体までに空洞トンネルが貫通し、シリカと空気の2相がお互いに連続相となる2相共連続型構造であることを確認した。
また、得られた2相共連続型シリカ構造体の結晶性をX線回折法により分析した。その結果、2相共連続型シリカ構造体はアモルファスであることが確認された。
また、得られた2相共連続型シリカ構造体に残存しているモリブデンの量を蛍光X線測定により分析した。その結果、2相共連続型シリカ構造体の中のモリブデンの量は1.23%であることが確認された。

シリカゲル(関東化学社製、シリカゲル60、球状、平均粒径40~50μm)95gと酸化モリブデン(和光社製)5gとを乳鉢で混合し、前躯体シリカと酸化モリブデンとの混合物(A-1)100gを得た。得られた混合物(A-1)100gを電気炉にて800℃で5時間焼成した。酸化モリブデンが殆ど昇華し、約87.5gの白色粉末を得た。続いて、得られた白色粉末の86.8gを0.25%アンモニア水の1Lに分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過によりアンモニア水を除き、水洗浄した。得られたウェットケーキを0.25%塩酸水溶液1Lに再分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過により塩酸水溶液を除き、水洗浄することで、粒子表面に残存するモリブデンを除去し、86.2gのシリカ構造体の粉末を得た。SEMとTEM観察により、得られたシリカ構造体は外表面から内部全体までに空洞トンネルが貫通し、シリカと空気の2相がお互いに連続相となる2相共連続型構造であることを確認した。

シリカゲル(関東化学社製、シリカゲル60、球状、平均粒径40~50μm)95gと酸化モリブデン(和光社製)5gとを乳鉢で混合し、前躯体シリカと酸化モリブデンとの混合物(A-1)100gを得た。得られた混合物(A-1)100gを電気炉にて800℃で5時間焼成した。酸化モリブデンが殆ど昇華し、約87.5gの白色粉末を得た。続いて、得られた白色粉末の86.8gを0.25%アンモニア水の1Lに分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過によりアンモニア水を除き、水洗浄した。得られたウェットケーキを0.25%塩酸水溶液1Lに再分散し、分散溶液を室温(25~30℃)で3時間攪拌後、ろ過により塩酸水溶液を除き、水洗浄することで、粒子表面に残存するモリブデンを除去し、86.2gのシリカ構造体の粉末を得た。SEMとTEM観察により、得られたシリカ構造体は外表面から内部全体までに空洞トンネルが貫通し、シリカと空気の2相がお互いに連続相となる2相共連続型構造であることを確認した。
また、得られた2相共連続型シリカ構造体の結晶性をX線回折法により分析した。その結果、2相共連続型シリカ構造体はアモルファスであることが確認された。
また、得られた2相共連続型シリカ構造体に残存しているモリブデンの量を蛍光X線測定により分析した。その結果、2相共連続型シリカ構造体の中のモリブデンの量は0.65%であることが確認された。
[実施例1~2、比較例1~2:香りの評価]
表1に示すシリカ15gをブレンダー(Oster社製、粉砕モード)に量りとり、5gのフレグランスを一滴ずつ追加し、30秒×2回混合する。得られた混合物4gをタルク50gと混ぜ合わせ、再度ブレンダーで30秒間混合する。得られた粉末10gをガラス容器に量りとり、4℃、室温の各恒温槽にて24時間静置する。24時間の後の香りについて、3人の人間による五段階での感性評価を行った(5:強く香りを感じられる~1:香りがしない)。結果を表1に示す。

[実施例3:CCクリームの調製]
下記に示す組成の配合比でCCクリームを作製した。具体的にはまず、水、塩化ナトリウム、及びグリセリンを混合し、80~85℃の範囲まで加熱することで溶液Aを作成した。また、Bentone Gel Abo V(Elementis社製)、Imwittor 600(NRC/Cremer社製)、Uvinul(登録商標) MC 80(BASF社製)、Vitamin E Acetate USP(Protameen社製)、Muitiple Hydraion Complex(Elementis社製)、Dubb ININ(Stearinerie Dubois社製)、及びCERAPHYL(登録商標) 375(Ashland社製)を混合し、80~85℃の範囲まで加熱することで加熱することで溶液Bを作成した。溶液Aと溶液Bをホモミキサーで10分間混合し、エマルションを形成した。次いで、Facor Meadowfoam Seed OilElementis社製)、C33-115(Sun Chemical社製)、C47-A053Sun Chemical社製)を三本ロールミルで混合し、50~55℃に冷却しながら溶液Aと溶液Bを追加し1~3分間混合した。さらに、40℃未満に冷却し、Euxyl K701(Schulke & Mayr社製)、Gatuline Expression(Gattefosse社製)、Vegetol Aloe Me200(Gattefosse社製)、Vegetol Cp GR049 Hydro(Gattefosse社製)、製造例1で合成した2相共連続型シリカ構造体を追加して混合することでCCクリームを作成した。

[実施例4:CCクリームの調製]
シリカ粒子として製造例1の2相共連続型シリカ構造体の代わりに製造例2の2相共連続型シリカ構造体を用いた以外は、実施例3と同様の方法を用いてCCクリームを作製した。

[比較例3:CCクリームの調製]
シリカ粒子として製造例1の2相共連続型シリカ構造体の代わりにCL silica 900(CHAMILAND社製 粒径7~10μm)を用いた以外は、実施例3と同様の方法を用いてCCクリームを作製した。

以上、本発明の好ましい実施例を説明したが、本発明はこれら実施例に限定されることはない。本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で、構成の付加、省略、置換、およびその他の変更が可能である。本発明は前述した説明によって限定されることはなく、添付のクレームの範囲によってのみ限定される。
Claims (5)
- シリカを主成分とする相と空気相とからなる2相共連続型シリカ構造体であって、
当該シリカの化学結合がQ4結合で構成されている2相共連続型シリカ構造体を含む、化粧料。 - 前記2相共連続型シリカ構造体の全量に対するモリブデンの含有量が2.0質量%以下であり、
前記シリカを主成分とする相がアモルファスである、請求項1に記載の化粧料。 - 前記空気相の直径が10~1000nmの範囲である、請求項1に記載の化粧料。
- 前記シリカを主成分とする相が、太さが5~1000nmの範囲のナノワイヤから形成されている、請求項1に記載の化粧料。
- 前記2相共連続型シリカ構造体の比表面積が0.1~200m2/gの範囲である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の化粧料。
