- the notification unit 116 notifies the selected notification destination of the possible stop position identified by the stop position identification unit 115 . In this case, the vehicle that receives the notification and rushes to the intersection 200A can smoothly stop the vehicle at the notified stopable position.
- the accident situation determination unit 113 determines the accident situation based on the video acquired from the camera 120 .
- the traffic signal control unit 114 controls the lights of the traffic signal 130 according to the circumstances of the accident.

For example, when it is determined that there is an obstacle to traveling on the road, the traffic light control unit 114 controls the traffic light 130 to turn red.
- the traffic control device 110 can prevent vehicles from entering an intersection that hinders travel. This embodiment can suppress the secondary accident by suppressing the vehicle heading to the intersection where the accident was detected.
- the traffic light control unit 114 controls the traffic lights 130 at the intersections around the intersection where the accident was detected, and from the surrounding intersections to the intersection where the accident was detected. restrain the outflow of vehicles.
- the traffic control device 110 can cause vehicles traveling near the surrounding intersections to detour the intersection where the accident was detected. If it is determined that there is an obstacle to running on the road, and the traffic light 130 at the intersection where the accident was detected is controlled to turn red, it is conceivable that traffic congestion will occur at that intersection. It is possible to suppress the occurrence of traffic congestion by detouring the intersection where the accident has been detected for vehicles traveling near the surrounding intersections.
- the reporting unit 116 notifies the occurrence of the accident to the reporting destination according to the determined accident situation. For example, if someone is injured or there is a high possibility of being injured, not only the police 150 but also the fire department 160 are notified of the occurrence of the accident, so that the injured can be rescued quickly. In addition, when immediate measures are required at the site, vehicles traveling near the intersection where the accident was detected can be notified of the occurrence of the accident and can request first aid for injured people.
