Abstract

The present invention discloses a rehabilitation device for the wrist joint having a structure shaped like a cuff, which is placed on the forearm above the wrist joint; said structure has at its external periphery a swivelling base having a corrugated plate integrated therein, which rotates by means of wheels located on supports positioned longitudinally at the periphery of the structure; the movement of the plate endows the supports with a linear forward and backward movement; said supports are attached to tensioners which at the same time secure a glove at the palm and the back of the hand, and also at the sides; said glove is fitted on the hand of the patient requiring rehabilitation of the wrist joint, the linear movement of the supports enabling the tensioners to assistedly rotate the patient's wrist in order to facilitate the movements of the wrist when an injury is present.
