Abstract
Description
そこで、楽曲の切り替えを支援するための技術が種々提案されている。例えば、特許文献1の音響機器では、周波数帯域に着目して出力レベルを調整することにより、楽曲をミキシングする際の違和感の発生を防止している。
そこで、本発明は、音楽に関する知識や経験が少ないユーザーであっても、楽曲の切り替えにおいて簡便な操作で好ましい切り替え動作を行うことが可能な音響装置、音響装置の制御方法およびプログラムを提供することを目的とする。

図1は、第1の実施形態における音響装置を示す模式図である。
本実施形態に係る音響装置1は、楽曲を再生する2つのプレイヤー2Aおよび2Bと、プレイヤー2Aおよび2Bを制御するミキサー3とが一体化したDJシステムである。具体的に、音響装置1は、ユーザーが操作をすることによって音響再生装置及び音響再生制御装置として機能し、楽曲を再生するとともに、再生中の楽曲に対して各種エフェクトを適用する。エフェクトには、例えばディレイ、エコー、リバーブ、またはループなどと呼ばれるエフェクトを楽曲に適用してエフェクト音を再生するエフェクト、および原音を加工して再生するエフェクト等が含まれる。
操作部21Aは、プレイヤー2Aに対するユーザー操作を受け付け、操作部21Bは、プレイヤー2Bに対するユーザー操作を受け付ける。また、操作部31は、ミキサー3に対するユーザー操作を受け付ける。
音響装置1は、例えば、プレイヤー2Aの操作部21Aに対してユーザーによる操作が行われると、プレイヤー2Aにロードされた楽曲を再生するとともに、必要に応じて再生中の楽曲に対してエフェクトを適用する。プレイヤー2Bについても同様である。
ミキサー3の操作部31は、エフェクト選択つまみ311Aおよび311B、エフェクト量調整つまみ312Aおよび312B、チャンネルフェーダー313Aおよび313B、クロスフェーダー314、ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315を含む。
ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315は、3つのノブを備える。そして、ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315は、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の音量バランスを調節するクロスフェーダー314の動作位置と上述した音量バランスとの関係を示すミキシングカーブの設定に用いられる。本実施形態では、クロスフェーダー314の操作位置と上述した音量バランスとの関係を示すミキシングカーブの設定に用いられ、以下で説明するミキシングカーブ設定部を構成する。
一方、図2Bは、上述した音量バランスが急峻に変化するミキシングカーブを示す。ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315によってクロスフェーダー314にこのようなミキシングカーブが設定された場合、クロスフェーダー314の操作位置を左から右、または右から左に変更すると、ミキシングカーブの立ち上がり位置及び立下り位置で上述した音量バランスが急峻に変化することによって、いわゆるカットインおよびカットアウトに近い感覚で楽曲の切り替えが行われる。なお、図2Bにおいて、ミキシングカーブの立ち上がり位置および立下り位置は、それぞれカットインのタイミングおよびカットアウトのタイミングに相当する。ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315によるミキシングカーブの設定処理の詳細については後述する。
なお、操作部21A、21B、および操作部31は、上述した各構成に加えて、ユーザーによる接触位置を検出するタッチパネル等をさらに備えてもよい。
音響装置1は、それぞれ上述した各部の他、図3に示すように、楽曲データ格納部4と、制御部5と、音声出力部6とを含む。上記の各部の機能は、例えばコンピュータのハードウェア構成を備える音響装置において、プロセッサがプログラムに従って動作することによって実現される。以下、各部の機能についてさらに説明する。
以下では、一例として、ボーカル音のパート、ドラム音のパート、およびベース音のパートの3つのパートへの分離処理が行われた楽曲データが楽曲データ格納部4に格納されているものとして説明を行う。なお、ベース音のパートとは、全体からボーカル音のパートおよびドラム音のパートを除いたパートを示す。なお、音響装置1は、既に分離処理が施された楽曲データを外部から取得してもよいし、未分離の楽曲データを複数のパートに分離する処理を実行する機能部分をさらに有してもよい。また、楽曲の切り替え区間についてのみ、分離処理が施された楽曲データを利用し、それ以外の区間については、未分離の楽曲データを利用する構成としてもよい。
ミキシングカーブ設定部52は、カーブの異なる複数のミキシングカーブを予め記憶し、ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315に対するユーザー操作に応じて、楽曲データの複数のパートにつきクロスフェーダー314の位置に応じミキシングカーブを設定する。
なお、ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315によるミキシングカーブの設定は、例えば、ミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315が備える3つのノブのそれぞれに、上述したボーカル音のパート、ドラム音のパート、およびベース音のパートをアサインし、各ノブの操作量に応じてミキシングカーブの曲率を指定することによって行われてもよいし、他の方法で行われてもよい。例えば、ミキシングカーブの設定は、予め記憶された複数のミキシングカーブから何れかのミキシングカーブを楽曲データの複数のパートのそれぞれについて選択する形で行われてもよい。この場合、音響装置1においてミキシングカーブを設定する操作子は、ミキシングカーブのパターンを提示するディスプレイと、パターンの選択を受け付けるタッチパネルまたはボタンなどを含んでもよい。
また、ミキシングカーブの設定は、ミキシングカーブそのものではなく、ミキシングカーブを選択したことによって実現される楽曲の切り替え結果を楽曲データの複数のパートごとに指定する形で行われてもよい。楽曲の切り替え結果は、例えば、フェードインおよびフェードアウトで楽曲の切り替えを行うタイミング、フェードインおよびフェードアウトで切り替え後の楽曲が聴取され始めてから切り替え前の楽曲が聴取されなくなるまでの時間、フェードインおよびフェードアウトの中間点で均等になったときのそれぞれの楽曲の音量、カットインおよびカットアウトで楽曲の切り替えを行うタイミング、および切り替え後の楽曲のカットインから切り替え前の楽曲のカットアウトまでの時間等を含む。
ミキシングカーブ設定部52においては、複数のパートのうち、すべてのパートについてカーブの異なるミキシングカーブが設定されてもよいし、2以上のパートについて同一のミキシングカーブが設定されてもよい。
音声出力部6は、スピーカ端子またはヘッドフォン端子等の音声出力端子を備え、第1再生部53および第2再生部54により再生された楽曲の音声信号を音声情報として出力する。
図4は、第1の実施形態に係る音響装置による楽曲の切り替え部分における1曲目(第一の楽曲)の楽曲データ、および2曲目(第二の楽曲)の楽曲データの例を示す。
従来、楽曲の切り替えに際しては、楽曲全体の音に対してクロスフェーダーに単一のミキシングカーブが設定されていた。そのため、クロスフェーダーに音量バランスが徐々に変化するミキシングカーブが設定され、フェードインおよびフェードアウトによって楽曲の切り替えが行われる場合、例えば、ドラム音については、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲のドラム音が重複して再生される区間が発生し、第一の楽曲と第二の楽曲との間のBPM差やドラムパターン等が相違してドラム音のピークに差異があると、切り替え時のドラム音がユーザーに違和感および不快感を与える場合があった。
また、クロスフェーダーに音量バランスが急峻に変化するミキシングカーブが設定され、カットインおよびカットアウトによって楽曲の切り替えが行われる場合、楽曲全体が突然変わることになり、ユーザーに唐突な印象を与えるという問題があった。
図5の例では、各パートに下記に示すミキシングカーブが設定されている。
ボーカル音のパート:第一の楽曲-フェードアウト、第二の楽曲-カットイン
ベース音のパート:第一の楽曲-フェードアウト、第二の楽曲-フェードイン
ドラム音のパート:第一の楽曲-カットアウト、第二の楽曲-カットイン
ボーカル音のパートのミキシングカーブの設定に際しては、クロスフェーダー314の一方の端に相当する操作位置P1からクロスフェーダー314の他方の端に相当する操作位置P2において第一の楽曲をフェードアウトし、操作位置P2より操作位置P1寄りの操作位置P3において第二の楽曲をカットインする設定が行われる。なお、第二の楽曲のボーカル音のパートのカットインに関して、ユーザーの操作によっては、クロスフェーダー314の操作位置とカットインにふさわしい楽曲データ上の時刻にズレが発生する可能性がある。そこで、第二の楽曲のボーカル音のパートのカットインについては、予めキューポイントを設定しておき、操作位置P3の近傍で、キューポイントに合わせてカットインする構成としてもよい。また、例えば、ボーカル検出技術やリリック表示技術など公知の楽曲解析処理を行い、操作位置P3の近傍で、歌詞の切れ目や歌い出し等、カットインにふさわしいタイミングでカットインする構成としてもよい。
ベース音のパートのミキシングカーブの設定に際しては、操作位置P1から操作位置P2にかけて第一の楽曲をフェードアウトするとともに第二の楽曲をフェードインする設定が行われる。
ドラム音のパートのミキシングカーブの設定に際しては、操作位置P1と操作位置P2との間の操作位置P4において第一の楽曲をカットアウトするとともに、第二の楽曲をカットインする設定が行われる。なお、第二の楽曲のカットインに関しては、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲のドラム音のタイミングによっては、ドラム音が重複したり、不自然なリズムでカットインおよびカットアウトが行われたりする可能性がある。そこで、第二の楽曲のドラム音のパートのカットインについては、拍位置検出や小節位置検出、ドラム音のパートのアタック検出などの技術を用いて、第二の楽曲におけるドラム音の適切な位置から再生させることにより、より自然な切り替え動作を行うことができる。
時刻t2において、クロスフェーダー314が操作位置P4に操作されると、第1再生部53は、第一の楽曲のうち、ドラム音のパートをカットアウトし、第2再生部54は、第二の楽曲のうち、ドラム音のパートをカットインする。この時、第2再生部54は、上述したように、操作位置P4にクロスフェーダー314が操作されてから所定の時間が経過してからカットインしてもよい。
時刻t4において、クロスフェーダー314が操作位置P2に操作されることにより、楽曲の切り替え処理が終了する。
図6には、受付部51がミキシングカーブ調節ノブ315に対する操作を受け付けた時に開始される処理のフローチャートが示されている。
まず、ミキシングカーブ設定部52が第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲を構成する複数のパートのそれぞれについてミキシングカーブを設定する(ステップS101)。
そして、クロスフェーダー314が操作されると(ステップS102YES)、第1再生部53および第2再生部54は、クロスフェーダー314の操作位置と、ミキシングカーブ設定部52により設定されたミキシングカーブとに応じて、各パートの音量バランスを制御することにより、プレイヤー2Aおよびプレイヤー2Bにおける楽曲の再生を行う(ステップS103)。
第1再生部53および第2再生部54は、クロスフェーダー314の操作が終了する(ステップS104YES)までステップS103の処理を継続する。
なお、図5および図6では、プレイヤー2Aからプレイヤー2Bへの楽曲の切り替えを例に挙げて説明したが、プレイヤー2Bからプレイヤー2Aへの楽曲の切り替えについても同様の処理が行われる
また、本発明の第1の実施形態によれば、複数のパートは、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の各パートを楽曲分離したパートを含む。したがって、各パートの詳細に応じて、特性に応じたミキシングカーブを設定することができる。
また、本発明の第1の実施形態によれば、複数のパートのうち、第一のパートについて第一のミキシングカーブを設定し、第一のパートとは異なる第二のパートについて第一のミキシングカーブとは異なる第二のミキシングカーブを設定する。したがって、楽曲を構成する複数のパートのそれぞれについて、特性に応じた切り替えタイミングおよび切り替え方法を設定することができる。
また、本発明の第1の実施形態によれば、第一のミキシングカーブは、音量バランスが徐々に変化するカーブであり、第二のミキシングカーブは、音量バランスが急峻に変化するカーブである。したがって、楽曲を構成する複数のパートごとに、好適な楽曲の切り替え方法を設定することができる。
また、本発明の第1の実施形態によれば、第一のミキシングカーブまたは第二のミキシングカーブは、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の一方の音量が徐々に変化するとともに、他方の音量が急峻に変化するカーブである。したがって、楽曲を構成する複数のパートごとに、好適な楽曲の切り替え方法を設定することができる。
さらに、クロスフェーダー314等の操作子に限定されず、GUI(Graphical User Interface)等によりソフトウェア的に構成される操作子についても同様に本発明を適用することができる。さらに、オートミックス処理等、操作子を必要としないプログラム的な楽曲の切り替え(クロスフェード動作)にも同様に本発明を適用することができる。
第2の実施形態では、第1の実施形態と異なる部分についてのみ説明し、第1実施形態と同様の部分については説明を省略する。
図7は、第2の実施形態に係る音響装置の概略的な機能構成を示すブロック図である。第2の実施形態に係る音響装置10は、DJアプリケーショを実行するコンピュータ、スマートフォン、およびタブレット端末により構成される。
音響装置10は、操作部11、表示部12、楽曲データ格納部13、制御部14、および音声出力部15の各部を含む。各部の機能は、例えばコンピュータのハードウェア構成を備える音響装置10において、プロセッサがプログラムに従って動作することによって実現される。以下、各部の機能についてさらに説明する。
操作部11は、キーボートやタッチパネルなどを備え、第1の実施形態の操作部21A、21B、および操作部31と同様に、ユーザー操作を受け付ける。表示部12は、ディスプレイを備える。楽曲データ格納部13は、第1の実施形態の楽曲データ格納部4と同様であるため説明を省略する。
ミキシングカーブ設定部141は、楽曲データの複数のパートのそれぞれにミキシングカーブを設定する。なお、第1の実施形態のミキシングカーブ設定部52では、クロスフェーダー314の操作位置と第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の音量バランスとの関係を示すミキシングカーブを設定する例を示した。しかし、本実施形態において、ミキシングカーブ設定部141は、楽曲データの複数のパートのそれぞれについて、第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の音量バランスを調節する際の位置と音量バランスとの関係を示すミキシングカーブを設定する。本実施形態における第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲の音量バランスを調節する際の位置は、例えば、自動で楽曲の切り替えを行うオートミックス処理における位置(時刻)を示し、このミキシングカーブは、第1の実施形態で説明した各ミキシングカーブと同様の特徴を有する。
第1再生部142および第2再生部143は、それぞれ第1の実施形態の第1再生部53および第2再生部54と同様の機能構成を有する。
音声出力部15は、スピーカ端子またはヘッドフォン端子等の音声出力端子を備え、第1再生部142および第2再生部143により再生された楽曲の音声信号を音声情報として出力する。
また、音響装置10の少なくとも一部を、インターネット通信網や、無線によって通信可能に接続されたサーバ(例えば、クラウドサーバ)装置に分離して実装してもよい。
図8には、オートミックス処理の開始指示を受け付けた時に開始される処理のフローチャートが示されている。なお、オートミックス処理に関しては、予めミキシングカーブ設定部141が第一の楽曲および第二の楽曲を構成する複数のパートの各パートにミキシングカーブを設定する。
オートミックス処理が開始されると(ステップS201YES)、第1再生部142および第2再生部143は、ミキシングカーブ設定部141により設定されたミキシングカーブに応じて、各パートの音量バランスを制御することにより、プレイヤー2Aおよびプレイヤー2Bにおける楽曲の再生を行う(ステップS202)。
第1再生部142および第2再生部143は、オートミックス処理が終了する(ステップS203YES)までステップS202の処理を継続する。
また、上記の各実施形態では2つのプレイヤー2Aおよび2Bを有する2チャンネルの音響装置が説明されたが、例えば4チャンネルの音響装置でも同様の機能が実現可能である。また、本発明はDJ機器に限らず、一般的なミキサーや電子楽器、さらにはDAW(Digital Audio Workstation)やDTM(Desk Top Music)といった音響装置にも適用可能である。
Claims (8)
- 第一のチャンネルで再生される第一の楽曲と、第二のチャンネルで再生される第二の楽曲との音量バランスを調節するクロスフェーダーを備える音響装置であって、
前記第一の楽曲および前記第二の楽曲を構成する複数のパートにつき、前記クロスフェーダーの位置に応じ前記各パートのミキシングカーブを設定する設定部と、
前記ミキシングカーブに応じて、前記複数の各パートの前記音量バランスを制御する再生制御部とを備える音響装置。 - 前記複数のパートは、前記第一の楽曲および前記第二の楽曲の各パートを楽曲分離したパートを含む、請求項1に記載の音響装置。
- 前記複数のパートは、ドラム音のうち、少なくともバスドラム音に対応するパートを含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載の音響装置。
- 前記設定部は、前記複数のパートのうち、第一のパートについて第一のミキシングカーブを設定し、前記第一のパートとは異なる第二のパートについて前記第一のミキシングカーブとは異なる第二のミキシングカーブを設定する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の音響装置。
