Abstract
本発明は、ソイルリリース性に優れるアミノ基含有共重合体及びそれを用いたソイルリリース剤の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。 本発明は、一般式(1)で表されるアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)とを含むことを特徴とするアミノ基含有共重合体であって、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~50重量%であることを特徴とする、アミノ基含有共重合体である。
Description
本発明は、アミノ基含有共重合体に関する。より詳しくは、液体洗剤や、粉末洗剤等の洗剤用途に有用なアミノ基含有共重合体に関する。
衣服に付着する皮脂汚れなどについて、繊維に吸着する化合物にてあらかじめ繊維に処理を行うことにより洗濯時に汚れがとれやすくなる効果が期待できる。このような機能はソイルリリース性と呼ばれている。
ソイルリリース性を示す様々な化合物が提案されている。例えば特許文献1には、1~3級アミノ基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルと、疎水性基を有する不飽和結合含有モノマーから構成されるポリマーが、木綿布の汚れ放出効果に優れることが開示されている。
例えば特許文献2には、4級アンモニウム基と親水性基を有するポリマーを含む組成物に綿布の汚れ剥離効果があることが開示されている。
ソイルリリース性を示す様々な化合物が提案されている。例えば特許文献1には、1~3級アミノ基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルと、疎水性基を有する不飽和結合含有モノマーから構成されるポリマーが、木綿布の汚れ放出効果に優れることが開示されている。
例えば特許文献2には、4級アンモニウム基と親水性基を有するポリマーを含む組成物に綿布の汚れ剥離効果があることが開示されている。
アミノ基を含有するポリマーによるソイルリリース性は上述のように開示されている。しかしながら特に皮脂汚れが吸着しやすいポリエステル繊維などについて、ソイルリリース性においてはさらに改善の余地があった。
本発明は、上記現状に鑑みてなされたものであり、ソイルリリース性に優れるアミノ基含有共重合体及びそれを用いたソイルリリース剤の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。

本発明者は、上記目的を達成する為に種々検討を行ない、本発明に想到した。
すなわち本開示は、下記一般式(1)で表されるアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)とを含むことを特徴とするアミノ基含有共重合体であって、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~50質量%であることを特徴とする、アミノ基含有共重合体である。
すなわち本開示は、下記一般式(1)で表されるアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)とを含むことを特徴とするアミノ基含有共重合体であって、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~50質量%であることを特徴とする、アミノ基含有共重合体である。
一般式(1)において、R1、R2、R3は、それぞれ独立に、水素原子または炭素数1~5のアルキル基を表し、R4、R5は、それぞれ独立に、水素原子または炭素数1~12の有機基を表し、Xは2価の連結基を表す。ただし、アスタリスクは、一般式(1)で表される構造単位が結合している同種もしくは異種の他の構造単位に含まれる原子を表す。
上記ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)の割合は、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~70重量%であることが好ましい。
上記置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して10~70重量%であることが好ましい。
上記アミノ基含有共重合体は、重量平均分子量が4000以上、500000以下であることが好ましい。
本発明はまた、上記アミノ基含有共重合体を含むソイルリリース剤でもある。
本発明は更に、上記アミノ基含有共重合体をソイルリリース剤として使用する方法でもある。
本発明は更に、ソイルリリース剤を製造する方法であって、上記製造方法は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体と界面活性剤とを混合する工程を含む、ソイルリリース剤の製造方法でもある。
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体はソイルリリース性に優れるため、特にポリエステル等の繊維製品に使用する洗剤等に好適に用いることが出来る。
以下、本発明を詳細に説明する。

[本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体]
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体(以下、本開示の共重合体ともいう。)は、以下記載のアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)、置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)とを含み、構造単位(a)の割合が全構造単位100質量%に対して5~50質量%であることを特徴とする共重合体である。
本開示の共重合体はこのような構造を有することにより、ソイルリリース性に優れ、更に、抗菌性、再汚染防止性にも優れる。

<アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)>
本開示のアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)は、下記一般式(1)で表される構造単位である。

上記アミノ基本含有単量体由来の構造単位は、一般式(1)において、-X-が、直接結合、又は-C(=O)-O-又は-C(=O)-N(-H)-又は-C(=O)-O-(CH2)n-(nは1~5)又は-C(=O)-N(-H)-(CH2)n-(nは1~5)で表される構造単位を含むことが好ましい。特に、-X-は、-C(=O)-O-(CH2)n-であることが好ましく、n=1~3であることがより好ましく、n=2が特に好ましい。
上記アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造は、例えばエチレン性不飽和基と下記一般式(2)で表される第1~3級アミノ基、又は、第1~3級アミノ基の酸による中和物とを有する単量体をラジカル重合することにより形成することができるが、これに限定されない。
上記アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)は、例えばアミノ基含有単量体をラジカル重合することで形成される。上記アミノ基含有単量体としては、具体的には、N,N-ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、N,N-ジエチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、N,N-ジメチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、N,N-ジエチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリレート等のN,N-ジアルキルアミノ基含有(メタ)アクリレート類及び、これらの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;N,N-ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N-ジエチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N-ジメチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N,N-ジエチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリルアミド等のN,N-ジアルキルアミノ基含有(メタ)アクリルアミド類及びこれらの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;モノメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、モノエチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート、モノメチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、モノエチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、(メタ)アクリル酸2-(tert-ブチルアミノ)エチル等のモノアルキルアミノ基含有(メタ)アクリレート類及びこれらの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;モノメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、モノエチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、モノメチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリルアミド、モノエチルアミノプロピル(メタ)アクリルアミド等のモノアルキルアミノ基含有(メタ)アクリルアミド類及びこれらの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;(メタ)アクリル酸-2-アミノエチル等の(メタ)アクリル酸とアルカノールアミンとのエステル類及びこれらの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;N,N-ジアリルメチルアミン及びこれの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;アリルアミン及びこれの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物;1-アリルオキシ-3-ジブチルアミノ-2-オール、1-アリルオキシ-3-ジエタノールアミノ-2-オール等の炭素数2~8の環状エーテル含有基を有する不飽和単量体と炭素数1~24のアミン化合物との付加反応物及びこれの塩酸、酢酸等の酸による中和物等が挙げられる。
上記アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)としては、特にN,N-ジメチルアミノエチル(メタ)アクリレート由来の構造単位である下記一般式(3)であることが好ましい。
本開示の共重合体における、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)の含有量は、本開示の共重合体を構成するすべての単量体に由来する構造単位(以下、全構造単位ともいう。)100質量%に対し、5質量%以上、50質量%以下、好ましくは7質量%以上、45質量%以下、より好ましくは、8質量%以上、40質量%以下、特に好ましくは10質量%以上、30質量%以下であり、最も好ましくは、15質量%以上、25質量%以下である。上記範囲であることにより、ソイルリリース性を付与したい繊維等の基材に作用することができるカチオン性部位の割合が適度になり、本開示の洗剤用添加剤の性能が向上する傾向にある。
<ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)>
本開示のポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)は、構造中にポリアルキレングリコール鎖を含有することを特徴とする。該構造単位(b)は例えば下記一般式(4)で表される。

上記R7、R8、R9はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子又は置換基を有していてもよい炭素数1~5のアルキル基であり、置換基は、水酸基、カルボキシル基、スルホン酸基、リン酸基、アミノ基及びこれらの塩の基からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の親水性基が好ましい。
上記アルキル基として好ましくはメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基であり、より好ましくはメチル基、エチル基であり、更に好ましくはメチル基である。

Zは、水素原子、炭素数1~30の炭化水素基、又は、水酸基並びにカルボキシル基、スルホン酸基、リン酸基、アミノ基及びこれらの塩を表す。上記炭化水素基としては、特に制限されず、アルキル基、アルケニル基、アルキニル基等の鎖状炭化水素基、アリール基、シクロアルキル基、シクロアルケニル基等の環状炭化水素基が挙げられる。上記炭化水素基は、分岐を有していてもよく、分岐を有する場合の炭化水素基の炭素数は、主鎖及び分岐鎖の合計の炭素数を意味する。
上記アルキル基としては、例えば、エチル基、プロピル基、イソプロピル基、ブチル基、イソブチル基、ヘキシル基、ヘプチル基、2-エチルへキシル基、オクチル基、ノニル基、デシル基、ドデシル基、ステアリル基、イコシル基等が挙げられる。
上記アルケニル基としては、例えば、ビニル基、アリル基、1-ブテニル基、2-ブテニル基、ペンテニル基、ヘキセニル基、ヘプテニル基、オクテニル基、ノネニル基、デセニル基、ドデセニル基、オクタデセニル基、イコセニル基等が挙げられる。上記アルキニル基としては、例えば、エチニル基、1-プロピニル基、2-プロピニル基、ブチニル基、ペンチニル基、ヘキシニル基、ヘプチニル基、オクチニル基、ノニニル基、デシニル基、ドデシニル基、オクタデシニル基、イコシニル基等が挙げられる。

上記シクロアルキル基としては、例えば、シクロプロピル基、シクロブチル基、シクロペンチル基、シクロヘキシル基等が挙げられる。上記シクロアルケニル基としては、例えば、シクロプロペニル基、シクロブテニル基、シクロペンテニル基、シクロヘキセニル基等が挙げられる。
上記炭化水素基として、好ましくはアルキル基、アルケニル基であり、より好ましくはアルキル基である。上記炭化水素基の炭素数として好ましくは2~20であり、より好ましくは2~15であり、更に好ましくは2~10であり、特に好ましくは2~5である。

上記ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体として具体的には例えば、(ポリ)エチレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート、(ポリ)プロピレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート等のポリアルキレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート;メトキシ(ポリ)エチレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート、メトキシ(ポリ)プロピレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート等のアルコキシポリアルキレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート等や、ビニルアルコール、(メタ)アリルアルコール、3-メチル-3-ブテン-1-オール(イソプレノール)、3-メチル-2-ブテン-1-オール、2-メチル-3-ブテン-2-オール、2-メチル-2-ブテン-1-オール、2-メチル-3-ブテン-1-オールのいずれかにアルキレンオキシドを10~100モル付加した化合物等の(ポリ)アルキレングリコール系単量体;が好ましい。特に(ポリ)エチレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート、メトキシ(ポリ)エチレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレートが好ましい。
本開示の共重合体における、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する構造単位(b)の含有量は、本開示の共重合体を構成するすべての単量体に由来する構造単位100質量%に対し、5質量%以上、70質量%以下が好ましく、より好ましくは20質量%以上、70質量%以下、さらに好ましくは、30質量%以上、70質量%以下、特に好ましくは40質量%以上、65質量%以下、最も好ましくは、45質量%以上、60質量%以下である。上記範囲であることにより、親水性部位の割合が適度になり、本開示の洗剤用添加剤の性能が向上する傾向にある。
<置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)>
本開示の置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)は、構造中に置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来することを特徴とする。置換基は疎水性基であることが好ましく、炭素数1~18の炭化水素基もしくは、炭素数6~30のアリール基であることが好ましい。
本開示の置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)は、構造中に置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来することを特徴とする。置換基は疎水性基であることが好ましく、炭素数1~18の炭化水素基もしくは、炭素数6~30のアリール基であることが好ましい。
上記置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)は、例えば置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルをラジカル重合することで形成される。構造中に置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルは、(メタ)アクリル酸と置換基を有していてもよい炭素数6~30のアリールアルコールとのエステル類があげられる。上記炭素数6~30のアリールアルコールとしてはフェノール、ベンジルアルコール、メチルフェニルアルコール(o-クレゾール、m-クレゾール、p-クレゾール)、クレオソール、エチルフェニルアルコール、プロピルフェニルアルコール、ブチルフェニルアルコール、ブチルメチルフェニルアルコール、ジメチルフェニルアルコール、ジエチルフェニルアルコール、ジブチルフェニルアルコール、ヒドロキシビフェニル、4-ヒドロキシメチルビフェニル、3-ヒドロキシメチルビフェニル、4-ヒドロキシエチルビフェニル、3-ヒドロキシエチルビフェニル、ナフトール、1-ヒドロキシメチル-ナフタレン、1-ヒドロキシエチル-ナフタレン、2-ヒドロキシメチル-ナフタレン、2-ヒドロキシエチル-ナフタレン等が挙げられる。
上記アリール(メタ)アクリレートとしては、例えば、フェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ベンジル(メタ)アクリレート、2-エチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、プロピルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ブチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ペンチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ヘキシルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ブチルメチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ジメチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ジエチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ジブチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、2-フェニルエチル(メタ)アクリレート、4-メチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、4-メチルベンジル(メタ)アクリレート、1-メトキシ-4-メチルフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、2-(2-メチルフェニル)エチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-(3-メチルフェニル)エチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-(4-メチルフェニル)エチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-(4-プロピルフェニル)エチル(メタ)アクリレート、ビフェニルメチル(メタ)アクリレート、ビフェニルエチル(メタ)アクリレート、ナフチル(メタ)アクリレート、ナフチルメチル(メタ)アクリレート、ナフチルエチル(メタ)アクリレート等が挙げられる。中でも好ましくはフェニル(メタ)アクリレート、ベンジル(メタ)アクリレートである。
本開示の共重合体における、置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)の含有量は、本開示の共重合体を構成するすべての単量体に由来する構造単位100質量%に対し、10質量%以上、70質量%以下、好ましくは15質量%以上、65質量%以下、より好ましくは、15質量%以上、60質量%以下、更に好ましくは15質量%以上、55質量%以下であり、一層好ましくは15質量%以上、50質量%以下であり、特に好ましくは20質量%以上、45質量%以下であり、最も好ましくは、20質量%以上、40質量%以下である。上記範囲であることにより疎水性部位の割合が適度になり、本開示の洗剤用添加剤の性能が向上する傾向にある。
<その他の単量体由来の構造単位(d)>
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体は、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)以外のその他の単量体由来の構造単位(d)を有していてもよい。
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体は、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)以外のその他の単量体由来の構造単位(d)を有していてもよい。
他の単量体としては特に制限されないが、例えば、不飽和カルボン酸系単量体;アリール基を含まない(メタ)アクリル酸エステル;エチレン、プロピレン等の炭素数2~4のオレフィン系単量体、塩化ビニル等のハロゲン化ビニル、メチルビニルエーテル、エチルビニルエーテル、アクリロニトリル等が挙げられる。
上記不飽和カルボン酸系単量体としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸、クロトン酸、チグリン酸、3-メチルクロトン酸、2-メチル-2-ペンテン酸、イタコン酸等及びこれらの1価金属塩、2価金属塩、アンモニウム塩、有機アミン塩等の不飽和カルボン酸系単量体;マレイン酸、イタコン酸、メサコン酸、シトラコン酸、フマル酸等や、それらの1価金属塩、2価金属塩、アンモニウム塩及び有機アミン塩等、それらの無水物、又は、ハーフエステル等の不飽和ジカルボン酸系単量体が挙げられる。これらの中でも好ましくは(メタ)アクリル酸、マレイン酸及びこれらの塩であり、より好ましくは(メタ)アクリル酸である。
上記アリール基を含まない(メタ)アクリル酸エステルとしては、アリール基を有しないアルコールと(メタ)アクリル酸とのエステルであればよく、例えば、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n-プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、イソプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、n-ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソブチル(メタ)アクリレート、tert-ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、sec-ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、n-オクチル(メタ)アクリレート、トリデシル(メタ)アクリレート、シクロヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート等のシクロアルキル(メタ)アクリレート、n-ラウリル(メタ)アクリレート、ドデシル(メタ)アクリレート、ステアリル(メタ)アクリレート、イソボルニルメタクリレート等が挙げられる。
その他の単量体として好ましくは不飽和カルボン酸系単量体であり、本開示の共重合体が不飽和カルボン酸系単量体由来の構造単位を有する形態もまた、本発明の好ましい実施形態の1つである。
本開示の共重合体における、その他の単量体由来の構造単位の含有量は、本開示の共重合体を構成するすべての単量体に由来する構造単位100質量%に対し、10質量%以下であることが好ましく、5質量%以下であることがより好ましく、3質量%以下であることが特に好ましく、1質量%以下であることが最も好ましい。
本開示の共重合体における、不飽和カルボン酸系単量体由来の構造単位の含有量は、本開示の共重合体を構成するすべての単量体に由来する構造単位100質量%に対し、0~10質量%であることが好ましく、より好ましくは0~6質量%である。上記範囲であることにより分散基の割合が適度になり、本開示の洗剤用添加剤の性能が向上する傾向にある。
本開示の共重合体が不飽和カルボン酸系単量体由来の構造単位を全構造単位100質量%に対して1~6質量%有する形態もまた、本発明の好ましい実施形態の1つである。

<本開示の共重合体の物性等>
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体は、重量平均分子量(Mw)が4000以上、500000以下であることが好ましく、6000以上、400000以下であることがより好ましく、10000以上、300000以下であることがさらに好ましい。さらには、10000以上、200000以下が特に好ましく、10000以上、100000以下が最も好ましい。上記範囲であることにより、本開示の共重合体のソイルリリース性能がより向上する傾向にある。

本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体の製造方法は特に制限されないが、単量体成分を重合することにより製造することができ、単量体成分の具体例及び好ましい例、並びに、各単量体の好ましい割合は、上述のとおりである。
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体の製造方法もまた、本発明の1つである。
上記アミノ基含有共重合体の製造方法は、例えば、アミノ基含有単量体又はその前駆体及び、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体又はその前駆体及び、置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルを重合する工程(以下重合工程)を含む。上記重合工程における、単量体成分の重合を開始する方法としては、例えば、重合開始剤を添加する方法、UVを照射する方法、熱を加える方法、光重合開始剤存在下に光を照射する方法等が挙げられる。特に、重合開始剤を用いることが好ましい。
上記重合開始剤としては、例えば、過硫酸ナトリウム、過硫酸カリウム、過硫酸アンモニウム等の過硫酸塩、2,2’-アゾビス(2,4-ジメチルバレロニトリル)、ジメチル2,2’-アゾビス(2-メチルプロピオネート)、2,2’-アゾビス(イソブチロニトリル)、2,2’-アゾビス(2-メチルプロピオンアミジン)二塩酸塩等のアゾ系化合物;過酸化ベンゾイル、過酸化ラウロイル、ジ-t-ブチルパーオキサイド、クメンヒドロパーオキサイド等の有機過酸化物、アスコルビン酸と過酸化水素、過硫酸塩と金属塩等の、酸化剤と還元剤とを組み合わせてラジカルを発生させる酸化還元型開始剤等がある。なかでも残存単量体が減少する傾向にあることから、過硫酸塩、アゾ系化合物が好ましく、より好ましくはアゾ系化合物である。これらの重合開始剤は、単独で使用されてもよく、2種以上の混合物の形態で使用されてもよい。
上記重合開始剤の使用量としては、構造単位を構成する単量体合計の使用量に対して、0.01質量%以上、10質量%以下であることが好ましく、0.02質量%以上、8質量%以下であることがより好ましく、0.03質量%以上、7質量%以下であることが更に好ましく、0.04質量%以上、4質量%以下が最も好ましい。
上記重合工程では、必要に応じて重合体の分子量調整剤として連鎖移動剤を用いてもよい。連鎖移動剤としては、チオグリコール酸(メルカプト酢酸)、3-メルカプトプロピオン酸、2-メルカプトプロピオン酸(チオ乳酸)、4-メルカプトブタン酸、チオリンゴ酸及びこれらの塩等のメルカプトカルボン酸やメルカプトエタノール、チオグリセロール、2-メルカプトエタンスルホン酸等、四塩化炭素、塩化メチレン、ブロモホルム、ブロモトリクロロエタン等のハロゲン化物、イソプロパノール、グリセリン等の第2級アルコール、亜リン酸、次亜リン酸、次亜リン酸塩及びこれらの水和物等;亜硫酸水素(塩)や亜硫酸水素(塩)を発生し得る化合物(重亜硫酸(塩)、ピロ亜硫酸(塩)、亜ジチオン酸(塩)、亜硫酸(塩)等)等が挙げられる。中でもメルカプト基を有する化合物が好ましく、より好ましくはカルボキシル基を有するメルカプト基含有化合物である。
本開示の共重合体の製造における連鎖移動剤の使用量としては、構造単位を構成する単量体合計の使用量100モル%に対して、0.1モル%以上、20モル%以下が好ましく、より好ましくは0.2モル%以上、15モル%以下であり、更に好ましくは0.3モル%以上、10モル%以下であり、最も好ましくは0.5モル%以上、5モル%以下である。
重合時に使用される溶媒は、使用する単量体成分、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤、製造後の共重合体を溶解できるものから必要に応じて選択することが出来る。特に制限はないが、水、エタノール、1-プロパノール、2-プロパノール、1-ブタノール、フェノキシエタノール等の炭素数1~8のアルコール類、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコールなどのグリコール類が好ましく用いられる。中でも好ましくは水、エタノール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコールであり、これらの2種類以上の混合物を用いても良い。
上記重合工程において、重合温度としては、40℃以上であることが好ましく、また、150℃以下であることが好ましい。より好ましくは45℃以上であり、更に好ましくは50℃以上である。また、より好ましくは100℃以下であり、更に好ましくは90℃以下である。
上記重合工程において単量体成分及び、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤の反応容器への投入方法は特に限定されず、全量を反応容器に初期に一括投入する方法、全量を反応容器に分割又は連続投入する方法、一部を反応容器に初期に投入し、残りを反応容器に分割又は連続投入する方法等が挙げられる。好ましくは、後述する溶媒を初期に仕込み、単量体成分、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤を連続投入する方法である。
また単量体成分は酢酸、プロピオン酸等の有機酸、塩酸、硫酸、硝酸等の鉱酸で中和を行ったのち、重合を行ってもよい。
重合で得られる共重合体は、そのまま液体洗剤用添加剤等の洗剤添加剤として用いることができるが、必要に応じて、更にアルカリ性物質で中和して用いてもよい。アルカリ性物質としては、一価金属又は二価金属の水酸化物、炭酸塩等の無機塩、アンモニア、有機アミンが使用出来る。また反応終了後に必要に応じて共重合体の濃度調整を行うこともできる。
[本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体の用途]
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体は、ソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤および再汚染防止剤用途に用いられる。
ソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤および再汚染防止剤は、洗剤の添加剤として用いることが出来る。例えば、ソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤および再汚染防止剤が使われるのは繊維や硬質表面を対象とした洗剤である。ここでいう洗剤とは家庭用の衣料用、台所用、住居用、繊維工業用、その他の工業用洗剤も含まれる。
本発明は更に、上記アミノ基含有共重合体をソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤又は再汚染防止剤として使用する方法でもある。
上記方法において、上記アミノ基含有共重合体を洗濯対象に接触させることが好ましい。
本発明はまた、ソイルリリース剤を製造する方法であって、該製造方法は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体と界面活性剤とを混合する工程を含む、ソイルリリース剤の製造方法でもある。
本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体は、ソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤および再汚染防止剤用途に用いられる。

本開示のソイルリリース剤は、本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体単独であってもよく、本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体の他に、通常洗剤に用いられる添加剤であれば特に制限されず含むことも出来る。本開示のソイルリリース剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が0.1~100質量%含まれることが好ましい。上記添加剤としては例えば、界面活性剤があり、アニオン性界面活性剤、ノニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤及び両性界面活性剤があげられる。
上記界面活性剤以外の添加剤としては、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム等の再付着防止剤、色移り防止剤、柔軟剤、pH調節のためのアルカリ性物質、香料、可溶化剤、蛍光剤、着色剤、起泡剤、泡安定剤、つや出し剤、殺菌剤、漂白剤、漂白助剤、酵素、染料、溶媒等が挙げられる。粉末洗剤組成物の場合には、ゼオライトを配合することも好ましい。
[本開示の抗菌剤]
本開示の抗菌剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体を含むものであり、優れた抗菌性能を発揮する。抗菌性能とは、後述する実施例に記載の方法にて評価ができる、抗菌剤で処理した繊維等の基材における抗菌性能である。本開示の抗菌剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が0.1~100質量%含まれることが好ましい。抗菌性能とは、殺菌(微生物を殺す)、静菌(微生物の繁殖を抑える)、滅菌、消毒、制菌、除菌、防腐、防カビ等の性能を有することをいい、対象となる微生物は、細菌、真菌である。
本開示の抗菌剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体を含むものであり、優れた抗菌性能を発揮する。抗菌性能とは、後述する実施例に記載の方法にて評価ができる、抗菌剤で処理した繊維等の基材における抗菌性能である。本開示の抗菌剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が0.1~100質量%含まれることが好ましい。抗菌性能とは、殺菌(微生物を殺す)、静菌(微生物の繁殖を抑える)、滅菌、消毒、制菌、除菌、防腐、防カビ等の性能を有することをいい、対象となる微生物は、細菌、真菌である。
上記細菌としては、大腸菌、緑膿菌、サルモネラ菌、モラクセラ菌、レジオネラ菌等のグラム陰性菌;黄色ブドウ球菌、クロストリジウム属細菌等のグラム陽性菌が挙げられる。上記真菌としてはカンジダ菌、ロドトルラ、パン酵母等の酵母類;赤カビ、黒カビ等のカビ類が挙げられる。
本開示の抗菌剤がこのような上記アミノ基含有共重合体を含むことで抗菌性が発揮される理由は以下のように推定される。本発明の抗菌剤を、微生物に作用させると、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が有する上記一般式(1)で表される構造単位由来のカチオン性基がマイナスの電荷を有する微生物の表面に吸着する。さらにアミノ基含有共重合体が有する疎水基が細胞膜部分と親和性を示し、細胞膜と相互作用することにより、細胞膜を構成する脂質等の間の相互作用を破壊し、及び/又は、膜に結合しているタンパク質等の機能を阻害することにより、細胞が破壊され、及び/又は、細胞の生理活性が阻害され、微生物が死滅することが推定される。
本開示の抗菌剤は、本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体単独であってもよく、本開示のアミノ基含有共重合体の他に、通常の洗剤組成物に用いられる添加剤であれば特に制限されず含むことも出来る。本開示の抗菌剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が0.1~100質量%含まれることが好ましい。上記添加剤としては例えば、界面活性剤があり、アニオン性界面活性剤、ノニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤及び両性界面活性剤があげられる。
上記界面活性剤以外の添加剤としては、その他の抗菌剤やカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム等の再付着防止剤、色移り防止剤、柔軟剤、pH調節のためのアルカリ性物質、香料、可溶化剤、蛍光剤、着色剤、起泡剤、泡安定剤、つや出し剤、殺菌剤、漂白剤、漂白助剤、酵素、染料、溶媒等が挙げられる。粉末洗剤組成物の場合には、ゼオライトを配合することも好ましい。
[本開示の再汚染防止剤]
本開示の再汚染防止剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体を含むものであり、優れた再汚染防止能を発揮する。本開示の再汚染防止剤は、上記アミノ基含有共重合体が0.1~100質量%含まれることが好ましい。

本開示の再汚染防止剤は、洗剤組成物に添加して使用することができる。洗剤組成物の形態としては、特に制限はなく、液状、固形、粉末等の形態であってよい。
本開示の洗剤組成物は、ソイルリリース剤、抗菌剤、再汚染防止剤以外に洗剤組成物に使用される種々の成分を含んでいてよい。洗剤組成物に含まれる成分としては、界面活性剤、及び通常洗剤組成物に使用する洗剤用添加剤を使用することができる。
上記界面活性剤としては、アニオン性界面活性剤、ノニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤及び両性界面活性剤のいずれであってもよく、1種又は2種以上を使用することができる。
アニオン性界面活性剤としては、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩、アルキルエーテル硫酸塩、アルケニルエーテル硫酸塩、アルキル硫酸塩、アルケニル硫酸塩、α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩、α-スルホ脂肪酸又はそのエステル塩、アルカンスルホン酸塩、飽和脂肪酸塩、不飽和脂肪酸塩、アルキルエーテルカルボン酸塩、アルケニルエーテルカルボン酸塩、アミノ酸型界面活性剤、N-アシルアミノ酸型界面活性剤、アルキルリン酸エステル又はその塩、アルケニルリン酸エステル又はその塩等が好適である。これらのアニオン性界面活性剤におけるアルキル基、アルケニル基には、メチル基等のアルキル基が分岐していてもよい。
ノニオン性界面活性剤としては、ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシアルキレンアルケニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、高級脂肪酸アルカノールアミド又はそのアルキレンオキサイド付加物、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル、アルキルグリコキシド、脂肪酸グリセリンモノエステル、アルキルアミンオキサイド等が挙げられる。これらのノニオン性界面活性剤におけるアルキル基、アルケニル基には、メチル基等のアルキル基が分岐していてもよい。
カチオン性界面活性剤としては、第4級アンモニウム塩等が挙げられる。また、両性界面活性剤としては、カルボキシル型両性界面活性剤、スルホベタイン型両性界面活性剤等が挙げられる。これらのカチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤におけるアルキル基、アルケニル基は、メチル基等のアルキル基が分岐していてもよい。
上記界面活性剤の含有量は、洗剤組成物の総量に対して10~60質量%であると好ましく、15~50質量%であるとより好ましく、20~45質量%であると更に好ましく、25~40質量%であると特に好ましい。界面活性剤の含有量が、洗剤組成物の総量に対して10~60質量%であると洗浄力と経済性とを両立できる傾向にある。
以下に実施例を掲げて本発明を更に詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例のみに限定されるものではない。なお、特に断りのない限り、「部」は「質量部」を、「%」は「質量%」を意味するものとする。
<共重合体の重量平均分子量測定>
共重合体の重量平均分子量(Mw)は、GPC(ゲルパーミュエーションクロマトグラフィー)により測定した。
測定条件、装置などは以下の通りである。

<ソイルリリース性評価1>
実施例1~9で製造した共重合体1~9について、以下の方法によりソイルリリース性評価を行った。
(1)硬水の調整塩化カルシウム2水和物8.39g、塩化マグネシウム6水和物2.9gをビーカーにはかりとり、イオン交換水を加え1000gとし、硬度母液とした。
炭酸水素ナトリウム1.54g、0.1N塩化水素10g、上記硬度母液200gをビーカーに入れ、イオン交換水で希釈して20000gとした硬水を調整した。
(2)布の前処理方法
Style730(Testfabiric社製 ポリエステル繊維)を5×5cmに裁断したものを用意した。上記(1)に記載の硬水を用いてエマルゲン108(花王社製)1000ppm、かつ実施例で得られた共重合体の含有量が33ppmになるように調整した水溶液360gを、マグネティックスターラーで撹拌しながら、上記布6gを添加し10分間撹拌した。撹拌後、イオン交換水360gを使用してすすぎを3分間行った後、脱水し、1日間風乾した。
(3)汚染布の作成
オリーブオイル61.5g、オレイン酸37g、酸化鉄(III)1g、オイルレッド0.5gを混合し、油脂汚染液を作成した。50μLの汚染液を、上記前処理方法1で得られたポリマー処理布に滴下し、1時間放置した後、余計な油脂を濾紙で挟んでふき取り、汚染布を作成した。
(4)洗浄力評価
(4)-1:界面活性剤水溶液の作成
エマルゲン108(花王社製)10gをビーカーに測りとり、イオン交換水を加えて100gとし、10%界面活性剤溶液を調製した。
(4)-2:1%共重合体水溶液調製
共重合体濃度が1%となるようにイオン交換水を用いて希釈を行い、1%共重合水溶液を調製する。調製した水溶液に適当な濃度の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液を添加し、pH7.5~8.5に調製した。
(4)-3:洗浄力試験
ターゴットメーターを25℃にセットし、ポットに(1)の硬水を493.3g、(4)-1の界面活性剤溶液5.0g入れ、ポット中の共重合体濃度が33ppmとなるように(4)-2の1%共重合体水溶液1.7gを入れて混合した。予め色差観測装置(Vervide社製:DigieyeでZ値を測定した汚染布5枚、浴比調整布(綿白布)とを合わせて16.7gポットに入れて、120rpmで10分間撹拌して洗浄した。ポットの水を捨て、イオン交換水500gを使用してすすぎ1回を3分間行った後、布を脱水し1日間風乾させた。風乾後、色差計にて再度、洗浄後の汚染布のZ値を測定し、下記式により洗浄率を求めた。得られた洗浄率に基づき、以下の判定基準で洗浄力を評価した。
洗浄率の計算式

Zsは評価前の汚染布のZ値を表し、Zwは評価後の汚染布のZ値を表し、Zoは汚染前の白布のZ値を表す。

実施例10~21で製造した共重合体10~20について、以下の方法によりソイルリリース性評価を行った。
(布の前処理方法)
(1)-1:硬度母液の調製
塩化カルシウム2水和物8.39g、塩化マグネシウム6水和物2.9gをビーカーにはかりとり、イオン交換水を加え1000gとした。
(1)-2:硬水の調製
炭酸水素ナトリウム1.54g、0.1N塩化水素10g、硬度母液(1)-1;200gをビーカーに入れてイオン交換水で希釈して20000gとした。
(1)-3
ポリエステルタフタ(株式会社色染社製 ポリエステル繊維)を5×5cmに裁断したものを用意した。(1)-2の硬水を用いてエマルゲン108(花王社製)1000ppm、かつ実施例で得られた共重合体を33ppmに調整した水溶液55gを準備し、上記布2.7gを添加し、ローラー型シェーカーで10分間撹拌した。撹拌後、すすぎを3分間行った後脱水し、1日間風乾した。
(汚染布の作成)
オリーブオイル61.5g、オレイン酸37g、酸化鉄(III)1g、オイルレッド0.5gを混合し、油脂汚染液を作成した。この汚染液を15μL、上記前処理方法1で得られたポリマー処理布に滴下し、40℃で1時間放置し汚染布を作成した。
(洗浄力評価)
(2)-1:界面活性剤水溶液の作成
エマルゲン108(花王社製)10gをビーカーに測りとり、イオン交換水を加えて100gとし、10%界面活性剤溶液を調製した。
(2)-2:洗浄力試験
ターゴットメーターを25℃にセットし、ポットに(1)-2の硬水を498.8g、(1)-3の界面活性剤溶液0.85g入れ、ポット中の共重合体濃度が7.3ppmとなるように1%共重合体水溶液を入れて混合した。予め分光色差計(日本電色工業社製SE6000)でZ値を測定した汚染布5枚、浴比調整布とを合わせて16.7gポットに入れて、120rpmで10分間撹拌して洗浄した。ポットの水を捨て、すすぎ1回を3分間行った後、布を脱水し1日間風乾させた。
風乾後、色差計にて再度、洗浄後の汚染布のZ値を測定し、上記式により洗浄率を求めた。得られた洗浄率に基づき、以下の判定基準で洗浄力を評価した。結果を表5に示す。
◎:洗浄率87%以上
〇:洗浄率85%以上、87%未満

実施例10~21で製造した共重合体10~20について、以下の方法によりソイルリリース性評価を行った。
(布の前処理方法)
(1)-1:硬度母液の調製

(1)-2:硬水の調製

ポリエステルタフタ(株式会社色染社製 ポリエステル繊維)を5×5cmに裁断したものを用意した。(1)-2の硬水を用いてエマルゲン108(花王社製)1000ppm、かつ実施例で得られた共重合体を33ppmに調整した水溶液55gを準備し、上記布2.7gを添加し、ローラー型シェーカーで10分間撹拌した。撹拌後、すすぎを3分間行った後脱水し、1日間風乾した。
(汚染布の作成)
オリーブオイル61.5g、オレイン酸37g、酸化鉄(III)1g、オイルレッド0.5gを混合し、油脂汚染液を作成した。この汚染液を15μL、上記前処理方法1で得られたポリマー処理布に滴下し、40℃で1時間放置し汚染布を作成した。
(洗浄力評価)
(2)-1:界面活性剤水溶液の作成
エマルゲン108(花王社製)10gをビーカーに測りとり、イオン交換水を加えて100gとし、10%界面活性剤溶液を調製した。
(2)-2:洗浄力試験
ターゴットメーターを25℃にセットし、ポットに(1)-2の硬水を498.8g、(1)-3の界面活性剤溶液0.85g入れ、ポット中の共重合体濃度が7.3ppmとなるように1%共重合体水溶液を入れて混合した。予め分光色差計(日本電色工業社製SE6000)でZ値を測定した汚染布5枚、浴比調整布とを合わせて16.7gポットに入れて、120rpmで10分間撹拌して洗浄した。ポットの水を捨て、すすぎ1回を3分間行った後、布を脱水し1日間風乾させた。
風乾後、色差計にて再度、洗浄後の汚染布のZ値を測定し、上記式により洗浄率を求めた。得られた洗浄率に基づき、以下の判定基準で洗浄力を評価した。結果を表5に示す。
◎:洗浄率87%以上
〇:洗浄率85%以上、87%未満
×:洗浄率85%未満
<再汚染防止評価>
(1)界面活性剤溶液として、エマルゲン108(花王社製、PAE)をイオン交換水で希釈し、10%溶液を作成した。
(2)硬度母液の調製
塩化カルシウム2水和物5.90g、塩化マグネシウム6水和物2.72gをビーカーにはかりとり、イオン交換水を加え100gとした。
(3)炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液の調製
炭酸水素ナトリウム1.54g、0.1N塩化水素10gをビーカーに入れてイオン交換水で希釈して100gとした。
(4)白布の色目測定
再汚染防止評価で用いた白布の白度は評価前に色差計(日本電色工業社製:SE-6000)で反射率を測定した。
(5)洗浄力評価
ターゴットメーターを25℃にセットし、イオン交換水891.3g、硬度母液1.2gと炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液4.5g、界面活性剤水溶液2.25g、固形分換算で1%の重合体水溶液0.75gをポットに入れて120rpmで3分間撹拌した。その後、カーボンブラック(三菱ケミカル製 カーボンブラック#10)0.05gを入れ、綿メリヤス(染色試材株式会社製 綿布)5枚、またはStyle7305枚と、浴比調整布(綿白布)とを合わせて30gを入れ、120rpmで10分間撹拌して洗浄した。ポットの水を捨て、すすぎ2回を行った後、白布を脱水した。
白布に当て布をして、アイロンでしわを伸ばしながら乾燥させた後、上記色差計にて再度、白布の白度を反射率にて測定した。
以上の測定結果から、下記式により再汚染防止率を求めた。

再汚染防止能は以下の基準で判定した。

(5)洗浄力評価
ターゴットメーターを25℃にセットし、イオン交換水891.3g、硬度母液1.2gと炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液4.5g、界面活性剤水溶液2.25g、固形分換算で1%の重合体水溶液0.75gをポットに入れて120rpmで3分間撹拌した。その後、カーボンブラック(三菱ケミカル製 カーボンブラック#10)0.05gを入れ、綿メリヤス(染色試材株式会社製 綿布)5枚、またはStyle7305枚と、浴比調整布(綿白布)とを合わせて30gを入れ、120rpmで10分間撹拌して洗浄した。ポットの水を捨て、すすぎ2回を行った後、白布を脱水した。

(2)布の前処理方法
Style730を5×5cmに裁断したものを用意した。上記(1)に記載の硬水を用いて実施例で得られた共重合体の含有量が100ppmになるように調整した水溶液55gを70ccマヨネーズ瓶に入れ、次いでStyle730を5.5g投入し、1時間撹拌した。撹拌後、脱水し、1日間風乾した。
(3)抗菌性試験
前処理した試験布の抗菌性をJIS L 1902:2015(繊維製品の抗菌性試験方法の菌液吸収法)によって評価した。抗菌性の評価には黄色ぶどう球菌(Staphylococcus aureus NBRC 12732)を用い、混釈平板培養法によって生菌数を測定し、抗菌性能を評価した。抗菌性能は未処理の木綿100%の試験布との比較にて行い、黄色ぶどう球菌に対する抗菌性は以下の式で表される抗菌活性値にて評価した。

抗菌性の評価は以下の基準で判定した。

(3)抗菌性試験
前処理した試験布の抗菌性をJIS L 1902:2015(繊維製品の抗菌性試験方法の菌液吸収法)によって評価した。抗菌性の評価には黄色ぶどう球菌(Staphylococcus aureus NBRC 12732)を用い、混釈平板培養法によって生菌数を測定し、抗菌性能を評価した。抗菌性能は未処理の木綿100%の試験布との比較にて行い、黄色ぶどう球菌に対する抗菌性は以下の式で表される抗菌活性値にて評価した。

温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、エタノール65gを仕込み、攪拌下、100ml/minで60分間窒素フローした後、70℃に昇温した。窒素フローを50ml/minにした後、攪拌下、70℃一定状態の重合反応系中に、メトキシポリエチレングリコールモノメタクリレート(エチレンオキシドの平均付加モル数23、新中村化学製の商品名「M-230G」、以下、PGM23Eともいう)78.3g、ジメチルアミノエチルアクリレート(富士フイルム和光純薬社製、以下、DAMともいう。)20.3g、エタノール(富士フイルム和光純薬社製)42.2g、酢酸(富士フイルム和光純薬社製)7.4gからなるモノマー溶液1;ベンジルメタクリレート(富士フイルム和光純薬社製、以下、BnMAともいう。)36.5gからなるモノマー溶液2;2,2’-アゾビス(2,4-ジメチルバレロニトリル)(富士フイルム和光純薬社製の商品名「V-65」)の3%エタノール溶液50.4gからなる開始剤水溶液をそれぞれ別々の滴下ノズルより滴下した。滴下時間に関して、モノマー溶液と開始剤水溶液は同時に滴下を開始し、モノマー溶液1、2は180分間、開始剤水溶液は240分間滴下した。
全滴下終了後、さらに60分間反応溶液を70℃に保持して熟成し、重合を完結させ、共重合体1を得た。

全滴下終了後、さらに60分間反応溶液を70℃に保持して熟成し、重合を完結させ、共重合体7を得た。

温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、エタノール62.3gを仕込み、攪拌下、100ml/minで60分間窒素フローした後、70℃に昇温した。窒素フローを50ml/minにした後、攪拌下、70℃一定状態の重合反応系中に、DAM20.3g、エタノール11.8g、酢酸7.3gからなるモノマー溶液1;PGM23E72.2g、メタクリル酸(以下、MAAともいう。)6.0g、エタノール33.5gからなるモノマー溶液2;BnMA36.5gからなるモノマー溶液3;‘V-65の3.5%エタノール溶液50.1gからなる開始剤水溶液をそれぞれ別々の滴下ノズルより滴下した。滴下時間に関して、モノマー溶液と開始剤水溶液は同時に滴下を開始し、モノマー溶液1、2、3は180分間、開始剤水溶液は240分間滴下した。
全滴下終了後、さらに60分間反応溶液を70℃に保持して熟成し、重合を完結させ、共重合体12を得た。

全滴下終了後、さらに60分間反応溶液を70℃に保持して熟成し、重合を完結させ、共重合体12を得た。
<製造例13~21>
製造例12において、使用する溶剤量、モノマー量、及び開始剤量を表1の組成、分子量になるように変更した以外は製造例12と同じ方法にて製造し、共重合体13~21を得た。

<比較製造例1>
温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、2-ブタノン33.3gを仕込み、DAM10.00g、ラウリルアクリレート(以下、LAともいう。)6.67g、PGM23E33.33g、V-65を0.80g投入し、窒素雰囲気下で一定時間攪拌した。その溶液を60℃付近まで昇温し、60℃で7時間保持することで重合・熟成した。そこに2-ブタノン200.0gを加えて希釈した後、室温まで降温した。この反応溶液をn-ヘキサン4000.0g中に滴下して再沈殿精製し、沈殿物を乾燥して比較共重合体1を得た。
温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、2-ブタノン33.3gを仕込み、DAM10.00g、ラウリルアクリレート(以下、LAともいう。)6.67g、PGM23E33.33g、V-65を0.80g投入し、窒素雰囲気下で一定時間攪拌した。その溶液を60℃付近まで昇温し、60℃で7時間保持することで重合・熟成した。そこに2-ブタノン200.0gを加えて希釈した後、室温まで降温した。この反応溶液をn-ヘキサン4000.0g中に滴下して再沈殿精製し、沈殿物を乾燥して比較共重合体1を得た。
<比較製造例2>
温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、エタノール900gを仕込み、DAM17.8g、ラウリルメタクリレート(以下、LMAともいう。)7.2g、6.6%V-65を10.6g投入し、窒素雰囲気下で一定時間攪拌した。その溶液を60℃付近まで昇温し、60℃で8時間保持することで重合・熟成した。そこにエタノール50.0gを加えて希釈した後、室温まで降温した。この反応溶液をイオン交換水2000.0g中に滴下して再沈殿精製し、沈殿物を乾燥して比較共重合体2を得た
温度計、還流冷却器、攪拌機を備えたガラス製のセパラブルフラスコに、エタノール900gを仕込み、DAM17.8g、ラウリルメタクリレート(以下、LMAともいう。)7.2g、6.6%V-65を10.6g投入し、窒素雰囲気下で一定時間攪拌した。その溶液を60℃付近まで昇温し、60℃で8時間保持することで重合・熟成した。そこにエタノール50.0gを加えて希釈した後、室温まで降温した。この反応溶液をイオン交換水2000.0g中に滴下して再沈殿精製し、沈殿物を乾燥して比較共重合体2を得た
製造例1~9で製造した共重合体1~9を使用した実施例1~9及び、比較例1として、ポリマーを使用しない系について、ソイルリリース性評価1を行った結果を表2に示す。
製造例10、11、13~17、19~21で製造した共重合体10、11、13~17、19~21を使用した実施例10、11、13~17、19~21及び、比較例2として、比較製造例2について、ソイルリリース性評価2を行った結果を表3に示す。
表2、3で示すとおり、本開示の共重合体は、ソイルリリース性に優れることが明らかとなった。
製造例で製造した共重合体を使用し、綿に対する再汚染防止性を行った結果を実施例22~30に、比較製造例1で製造した比較共重合体1を使用した評価結果を比較例3として表4に示す。
また、製造例で製造した共重合体を使用し、ポリエステル対する再汚染防止性を行った結果を実施例31~47に、比較製造例1で製造した比較共重合体1を使用した評価結果を比較例4として表5に示す。
製造例で製造した共重合体を使用した実施例48~56、及び、比較例5として、ポリマーを使用しない系について、抗菌性評価を行った結果を表6に示す。
表4~6で示すとおり、本開示の共重合体は、再汚染防止性及び抗菌性にも優れることが明らかになった。
Claims (7)
- 下記一般式(1)で表されるアミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)と、ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)と置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)とを含むことを特徴とするアミノ基含有共重合体であって、アミノ基含有単量体由来の構造単位(a)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~50重量%であることを特徴とする、アミノ基含有共重合体。
- 前記ポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する単量体に由来する構造単位(b)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して5~70重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアミノ基含有共重合体。
- 前記置換基を有していてもよいアリール基を含む(メタ)アクリル酸エステルに由来する構造単位(c)の割合が、全構造単位100質量%に対して10~70重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のアミノ基含有共重合体。
- 前記アミノ基含有共重合体は、重量平均分子量が4000以上、500000以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載のアミノ基含有共重合体。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のアミノ基含有共重合体を含むことを特徴とするソイルリリース剤。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のアミノ基含有共重合体をソイルリリース剤として使用する方法。
- ソイルリリース剤を製造する方法であって、
該製造方法は、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のアミノ基含有共重合体と界面活性剤とを混合する工程を含むことを特徴とする、ソイルリリース剤の製造方法。
