Description
5Gとは、「5th Generation(第五世代移動通信システム)」のことである。5Gによって、今まで使用されていなかった20GHz以上の高周波数帯域と「MIMO(Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output)」と呼ばれる超多素子アンテナを使った通信により、高速で大容量の通信、信頼性が高く低遅延の通信、多数の機器への同時接続が可能となる。
しかしながら、5Gでは使用する電波の周波数が高いため、アンテナや配線などによる伝送損失が4Gに比べて大きくなりがちである。伝送損失は端末の性能低下につながるため、伝送損失がこれまでの製品より少ない性質を持つ材料、例えばフッ素樹脂、液晶ポリマー、低誘電ポリイミドなどの5Gを構成する部材中での使用が進められている。
実際、こうした材料を使用した基板用の樹脂フィルムなどの開発が進められており、5G端末の部材として採用されるケースもある。
また、周波数が高くなるにつれて電波の直進性が強くなり、屋内や建物の陰などにおいて受信できる電波が弱くなり、端末がネットワーク等とつながりにくくなる場所も生じる。
そのため、素材に求められる要求性能も変化している。例えば、端末の本体に使う金属を電波が通りやすい樹脂やガラスに置き換える割合を増やすことが試みられている。
しかし、このような特性に特化した粘着テープは、粘着剤層表面のタックが弱く、金属への接着性に長ける一方で、樹脂素材、特にPOMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂素材への貼り付き性に劣り、前記のような5Gに適した樹脂素材に対して特性を発揮できない場合がある。
特許文献1では、昨今、自動車等に用いられる材料は、金属系の材料からプラスチック系の材料へと置き換えが進められている状況を鑑み、粘着物性に必要なタック性や凝集力を維持しつつ、高温環境下での高い応力緩和性と、低極性被着体に対する高い接着性とを有する粘着剤層を形成することが可能な粘着剤組成物を提供している。この粘着剤組成物は、酸価が7.8~45である(メタ)アクリル系共重合体(A)と、軟化点が100℃以上であるロジン系粘着付与樹脂(B)と、架橋剤(C)とを含む。(メタ)アクリル系共重合体(A)は、アルキル基の炭素数が8未満の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルと、アルキル基の炭素数が8以上の(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルと、酸性基含有モノマーとを含むモノマー成分の共重合体である。この粘着剤組成物は、(メタ)アクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対して、ロジン系粘着付与樹脂(B)を、16質量部を超えて30質量部未満、架橋剤(C)を0.01~5質量部含む。
特許文献1では、接着性を評価する低極性被着体を形成する材料として、ポリプロピレンやポリエチレン等のポリオレフィン樹脂が挙げられている。
特許文献2では、「難接着な被着体」が、材質が非極性樹脂である被着体や表面に非極性の表面処理が施された被着体であると定義されており、具体例として、撥油性又は撥水性のためにフッ素コーティング等がされた材料、又は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等が挙げられている。

特許文献3には、難接着性の被着体を形成する材料として、エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム(EPDM)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)、スチレンブタジエンゴム(SBR)、熱可塑性ポリオレフィンゴムおよび改質アスファルト等が例示されている。
しかし、先行技術文献3における難接着性の被着体には、耐熱性に優れ機械的特性に優れたエンジニアリング・プラスチックの一つであり、ギヤ(歯車)やベアリングといった回転するものや、グリップやフック、カバーといった耐久性が求められるパーツ類、楽器類にも使用されるPOM(ポリアセタール)は含まれていない。
特許文献4では、壁材やパネルに壁紙などの化粧シートを貼着するに際して用いられる粘着剤には、充分な粘着力と共に、貼直して再施工できることが求められ、所謂タック性があることが望まれていることを鑑み、粘着力が高いと共に、タック性があって再施工性があり、且つ、貼着工程後の寸法安定を損なわない粘着剤組成物を提供している。この粘着剤組成物は、アクリル酸n-ブチルと、カルボキシル基含有単量体と、ヒドロキシ基含有単量体が重合したアクリル樹脂共重合体を含む。アクリル樹脂共重合体100質量部に占める、アクリル酸n-ブチルの割合は20質量部以上、ヒドロキシ基含有単量体の割合は0.05~5.0質量部である。このアクリル樹脂共重合体における酸価は40~80mgKOH/g、質量平均分子量は200,000~500,000、分散度(Mw/Mn)は2.0以下である。
特許文献4では、粘着剤組成物を適用する壁材、パネル、化粧シートの材質に関して、壁材やパネルの材質としてアルミニウム、ステンレス、石膏ボード、亜鉛メッキ鋼板、樹脂被覆鋼板等が、化粧シートの材質としては塩化ビニル、ポリエチレンテレフタラート、オレフィン等が挙げられている。
特許文献5では、大型化と筐体の薄型化が進むスマートフォン、タブレット端末などのポータブル電子機器の表示画面の筐体-LCD-トップパネルを固定するのに、内部からはFPCの反発力に耐えられ、耐衝撃性や防水性といった外部からの力にも耐えられる、耐反発性、耐荷重性、狭額縁耐湿熱荷重性、加工性、耐衝撃性及び防水性に優れた粘着剤組成物及びそれを用いた粘着テープを提供している。
特許文献5に記載の粘着剤組成物は、アクリル系共重合体(A)と、架橋剤(B)と、シランカップリング剤(C)と、酸化防止剤(D)を含有する。アクリル系共重合体(A)は、炭素原子数が1~3のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A1)10~20質量%、炭素原子数が4~12のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A2)50~80質量%、カルボキシル基含有モノマー(A3)10~15質量%、水酸基含有モノマー(A4)0.01~0.5質量%、及び、酢酸ビニル(A5)1~5質量%をポリマー鎖の構成成分として含む。アクリル系共重合体(A)は、過酸化物系重合開始剤を用いた重合により得られ、重量平均分子量が95万~200万、理論Tgが-55℃以下である。
更に、特許文献4では、低極性被着体に対する粘着剤の保持力に関しては触れられていない。
また、特許文献5では、粘着剤のタックについての検討はされていない。
そこで、本発明では、従来の粘着テープに対して粘着剤層表面のタックを含む特性に基づく接着性の向上を図ることにより、POMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂に対しても接着性や高温保持性、耐荷重性、耐衝撃性に優れるアクリル系粘着剤組成物と粘着テープを提供することを目的とする。
本発明の更なる目的は、スマートフォン、タブレット端末等のポータブル電子機器や、自動車のセンサー、ドライブレコーダーなどの固定を想定して開発されてきた接着性や高温保持性、耐荷重性、耐衝撃性に優れるアクリル系粘着剤組成物や粘着テープにおいて、タックを含む特性による接着性が向上し、5G実用化に伴い使用される樹脂素材、特にPOMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂に対しての貼り付き性に優れた粘着剤と粘着テープを提供することにある。

本発明の粘着剤組成物は、アクリル系共重合体(A)と架橋剤(B)を含む。アクリル系共重合体(A)を架橋剤(B)により硬化させた状態で粘着テープの粘着剤層を形成することができる。
(アクリル系共重合体)
アクリル系共重合体(A)としては、以下の式(1)で定義される粘着指数が1.5×10-2以上2.0×10-2以下であるアクリル系共重合体が用いられる。

c:アクリル系共重合体(A)の全モノマー成分中に含まれる273K以上437K以下のモノマーを単独重合した場合のガラス転移温度(Tg’)を有するモノマー(AHTg)の含有割合(全モノマー成分の質量に対しての百分率、単位%)
しかしながら、それぞれの因子は複雑に絡み合って最終的に接着性として発現しており、個々に独立して考慮することは容易ではない。
そこで、本発明では、これら3つの因子によって発現する接着性を簡便にかつ効果的に総合評価できる指数として「粘着指数」の考えを導入した。
式(1)に示すとおり、「粘着指数」は上述した3つの要因の積の三乗根の逆数として表わされる。この値が低いと高保持力、高粘着力、低タックといった特性を発現する傾向にあり、この値が高いと低保持力、低粘着力、高タックといった特性を発現する傾向にある。
粘着指数を上述した特定の範囲とすることによって、上記の各特性をバランス良く有し、良好な接着性を発現し、POM等からなる難粘着性の被着体にも好適に適用できる粘着剤組成物及び粘着テープを提供することが可能となる。
アクリル系共重合体(A)の理論Tgは、223K(-50℃)以下が好ましく、213K以上203K以下(-60~-70℃)がより好ましい。
アクリル系共重合体(A)の重量平均分子量は、接着性や高温保持性、耐荷重性及び耐衝撃性をバランス良く良好なものとし、かつ、POMを代表とする難接着性樹脂への良好な貼り付き性を得るという観点から、65万以上120万以下が好ましく、70万以上110万以下がより好ましい。
この重量平均分子量はGPC法を用いた定法により測定することができる。
(モノマー成分)
アクリル系共重合体(A)は、複数の異なるモノマーからなるモノマー成分の、主に(メタ)アクリル基を利用した共重合により形成される。
アクリル系共重合体(A)としては、カルボキシル基及び水酸基を有するアクリル系共重合体が好ましい。
カルボキシル基及び水酸基を有するアクリル系共重合体のポリマー鎖の構成成分としてのモノマー成分は、以下の各モノマーを含むことが好ましい。
・炭素原子数が4以上12以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A1)(以下、「成分(A1)」ともいう)
・炭素原子数1以上3以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A2)(以下、「成分(A2)」ともいう)
・カルボキシル基含有モノマー(A3)(以下、成分「(A3)」ともいう)
・水酸基含有モノマー(A4)(以下、「成分(A4)」ともいう)
アクリル系共重合体のモノマー成分は、更に、
・成分(A1)~成分(A4)以外の、ビニル化合物(A5)(以下、「成分(A5)ともいう」
を含んでもよい。
成分(A1)は、炭素原子数が4以上12以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルである。
具体例としては、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソブチル(メタ)アクリレート、2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、オクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソオクチル(メタ)アクリレート、イソノニル(メタ)アクリレート、ラウリル(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。
これらの中でも、2-エチルヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート、イソオクチル(メタ)アクリレートが好ましい。
具体例としては、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、プロピル(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。
これらの中でも、メチル(メタ)アクリレート、エチル(メタ)アクリレートが好ましい。
具体例としては、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、イタコン酸、クロトン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、2-カルボキシ-1-ブテン、2-カルボキシ-1-ペンテン、2-カルボキシ-1-ヘキセン、2-カルボキシ-1-ヘプテンが挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。
これらの中でも、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸が好ましい。
具体例としては、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、3-ヒドロキシプロピル(メタ)アクリレート、4-ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。
これらの中でも、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、4-ヒドロキシブチル(メタ)アクリレートが好ましい。
また、成分(A3)と成分(A4)の合計含有量は、全モノマー成分中、好ましくは10.5質量%以下である。
成分(A5)としては、後述する特定範囲のTg’を有するモノマー(AHTg)として例示される、成分(A1)~(A4)以外のビニル化合物、並びにその他、必要に応じて併用される共重合性モノマーを挙げることができる。
成分(A5)の全モノマー成分中の割合は、0質量%以上10質量%以下とすることが好ましい。
モノマー(AHTg)は、上述した成分(A1)~(A5)の少なくとも一つの成分としてモノマー成分中に含有させることができる。
モノマー(AHTg)が、成分(A1)~(A4)の少なくとも一つの成分としてアクリル系共重合体(A)のモノマー成分に含まれる場合は、成分(A1)~(A4)中のモノマー(AHTg)の含有割合(%)を、式(1)における「c」として用いる。複数のモノマー(AHTg)を用いる場合には、これらの含有割合の和を「c」として用いる。
モノマー(AHTg)が、成分(A1)~(A5)の内の少なくとも成分(A5)としてアクリル系共重合体(A)のモノマー成分に含まれる場合は、成分(A1)~(A5)中のモノマー(AHTg)の含有割合(%)を、式(1)における「c」として用いる。複数のモノマー(AHTg)を用いる場合には、これらの含有割合の和を「c」と用いる。
アクリル系共重合体(A)の全モノマー成分に含まれるモノマー(AHTg)の含有割合は、11.5質量%以上であることが好ましく、11.5質量%以上50質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つ重合性ビニル基を有するモノマーとしては、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有し、かつ、上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つビニル化合物、(メタ)アクリルアミド基を有し、かつ、上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つビニル化合物、アクリロニトリル(Tg’:378K)、酢酸ビニル(Tg’:305K)等を挙げることができ、これらの中から少なくとも1種を選択して用いることができる。
(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するビニル化合物としては、以下の式(2)で表され、かつ、上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つ(メタ)アクリル酸及び(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル、並びに以下の式(3)で表され、かつ、上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つジ(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルを挙げることができる。
R2としてのアルキル基としては、炭素原子数1以上20以下のアルキル基を挙げることができる。アルキル基は直鎖状、分岐状、環状のいずれでもよい。直鎖状及び分岐状のアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、n-ブチル基、iso-ブチル基、tert-ブチル基等の炭素原子数1以上4以下のアルキル基を挙げることができる。環状のアルキル基としては、シクロヘキシル基、イソボルニル基等の炭素原子数6以上10以下の環状アルキル基を挙げることができる。
このアルキル基の水素原子の1以上は、他の基によって置換されていてもよい。アルキル基の置換基としては、水酸基、フェニルオキシ基等のアリールオキシ基、フェニル基等のアリール基、エポキシ基、テトラヒドロフリル基等の脂肪族複素環化合物残基、アミノ基(-R3R4:R3、R4はそれぞれ独立して炭素原子数1または2のアルキル基を表す)等を挙げることができる。置換されたアルキル基の炭素原子数は1以上3以下であることが好ましい。
式(2)で表されるビニル化合物の具体例としては、

式(3)における、R5及びR6は同じ基であることが好ましい。
式(3)で表わされる表されるビニル化合物の具体例としては、
ネオペンチルグルコールジ(メタ)アクリレート(Tg’:390Kまたは305.5K)、
3-メチル-1,5ペンタンジオールジアクリレート(Tg’:378K)、
1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(Tg’:336K)、
1,9-ノナンジオールジアクリレート(Tg’:341K)
等を挙げることができる。
(メタ)アクリロイルアミド基を有するビニル化合物としては、以下の式(4)で表され、かつ、上記の特定範囲のTg’を持つ化合物を挙げることができる。
式(4)で表されるビニル化合物の具体例としては、
アクリロイルモルフォリン(Tg’:418K)、
N,Nージメチルアクリルアミド(Tg’:119K)、
N,Nージエチルアクリルアミド(Tg’:354K)、
N-イソプロピルアクリルアミド(Tg’:407K)
等を挙げることができる。
一方、POMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂に対しては、粘着力よりも被着体への貼り付きやすさ(タック)の方が強く作用するため、粘着指数が高い方が、接着性が上がる。
しかし、粘着指数が高すぎると保持力が低下し接着性を発揮できないため、適切な数値に調整することが必要である。
本発明では、様々なアクリル系共重合体の対POM特性と粘着指数を比較し、POMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂に対しても接着性や高温保持性、耐荷重性、耐衝撃性に優れる適切な粘着指数が1.5×10-2以上2.0×10-2以下であることを見出した。さらに、様々なモノマー組成のアクリル系共重合体の対POM特性を比較し、POMに代表されるような難接着性樹脂に対しても接着性や高温保持性、耐荷重性、耐衝撃性に優れるアクリル系共重合体としてアクリル系共重合体(A)を見出した。
参考までに、特許文献1の各合成例におけるアクリル系共重合体の粘着指数は1.18~1.48の範囲及び2.30~3.62の範囲にある。特許文献2及び3の実施例には、粘着指数が上記の範囲を満たすアクリル系共重合体が開示されているものの、これらのアクリル系共重合体は上述した3つの要件(「重量平均分子量の範囲」、「全モノマー成分中のモノマー(AHTg)の含有割合」及び「粘着指数の範囲」を同時に満たすアクリル系共重合体は開示されていない。特許文献4の各実施例におけるアクリル系共重合体の粘着指数は2.22~2.90の範囲にある。
架橋剤としては、例えば、イソシアネート系架橋剤、エポキシ系架橋剤、メラミン系架橋剤、過酸化物系架橋剤の他、尿素系架橋剤、金属アルコキシド系架橋剤、金属キレート系架橋剤、金属塩系架橋剤、カルボジイミド系架橋剤、オキサゾリン系架橋剤、アジリジン系架橋剤、アミン系架橋剤などが挙げられる。なかでも、イソシアネート系架橋剤、エポキシ系架橋剤または金属キレート系架橋剤が好ましい。
イソシアネート系架橋剤の具体例としては、ブチレンジイソシアネート、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート等の低級脂肪族ポリイソシアネート類;シクロペンチレンジイソシアネート、シクロへキシレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート等の脂環族イソシアネート類;2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート、4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート等の芳香族イソシアネート類;トリメチロールプロパン/トリレンジイソシアネート3量体付加物(日本ポリウレタン工業社製、商品名「コロネートL」)、トリメチロールプロパン/へキサメチレンジイソシアネート3量体付加物(日本ポリウレタン工業社製、商品名「コロネートHL」)、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートのイソシアヌレート体(日本ポリウレタン工業社製、商品名「コロネートHX」)等のイソシアネート付加物;等が挙げられる。イソシアネート系架橋剤の含有量は、アクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対して、代表的には0.1質量部以上20質量部以下であり、より好ましくは0.5質量部以上10質量部以下である。
エポキシ系架橋剤としては、例えば、N,N,N’,N’-テトラグリシジル-m-キシレンジアミン、ジグリシジルアニリン、1,3-ビス(N,N-ジグリシジルアミノメチル)シクロヘキサン(三菱ガス化学社製、商品名「テトラッドC」)、N,N,N’,N’-テトラグリシジル-m-キシリレンジアミン(三菱ガス化学社製、商品名「テトラッドX」)、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル(共栄社化学社製、商品名「エポライト1600」)、ネオペンチルグリコールジグリシジルエーテル(共栄社化学社製、商品名「エポライト1500NP」)、エチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル(共栄社化学社製、商品名「エポライト40E」)、プロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル(共栄社化学社製、商品名「エポライト70P」)、ポリエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル(日本油脂社製、商品名「エピオールE-400」)、ポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル(日本油脂社製、商品名「エピオールP-200」)、ソルビトールポリグリシジルエーテル(ナガセケムテックス社製、商品名「デナコール EX-611」)、グリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル(ナガセケムテックス社製、商品名「デナコール EX-314」)、ペンタエリスリトールポリグリシジルエーテル、ポリグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル(ナガセケムテックス社製、商品名「デナコール EX-512」)、ソルビタンポリグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル、アジピン酸ジグリシジルエステル、o-フタル酸ジグリシジルエステル、トリグリシジル-トリス(2-ヒドロキシエチル)イソシアヌレート、レゾルシンジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノール-S-ジグリシジルエーテル、分子内にエポキシ基を2つ以上有するエポキシ系樹脂等が挙げられる。エポキシ系架橋剤の含有量は、アクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対して、0.01質量部以上10質量部以下であり、より好ましくは0.03質量部以上5質量部以下である。
金属キレート系架橋剤としては、例えば、金属原子がアルミニウム、ジルコニウム、チタニウム、亜鉛、鉄、スズ等である金属キレート化合物を使用することができる。中でもアルミニウムキレート化合物又はチタニウムキレート化合物が好ましい。
アルミニウムキレート化合物としては、例えば、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノオレイルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムビスオレイルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノオレエートモノエチルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノラウリルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノステアリルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノイソステアリルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノ-N-ラウロイル-β-アラネートモノラウリルアセトアセテート、アルミニウムトリス(アセチルアセトネート)、アセチルアセトナートアルミニウムビス(エチルアセトアセテート)、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(イソブチルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(2-エチルヘキシルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(ドデシルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(オレイルアセトアセテート)キレート等が挙げられる。
チタニウムキレート化合物としては、例えば、チタニウムジイソプロポキシビス(アセチルアセトネート)、チタニウムテトラ-n-ブチレート、チタニウムテトラ-2-エチルヘキサノネート、チタニウムテトラアセチルアセトネート、チタニウムジイソプロポキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)、チタニウムオクチレングリコレート等が挙げられる。
その他金属キレート化合物としてはジルコニウムテトラアセチルアセトネート、ジルコニウムトリブトキシモノアセチルアセトネート等が挙げられる。
上記の金属キレート系架橋剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
金属キレート系架橋剤の含有量は、アクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対して、代表的には0.01質量部以上10質量部以下であり、より好ましくは0.03質量部以上7質量部以下であり、さらに好ましくは0.05質量部以上5質量部以下である。
アクリル系共重合体(A)は、以上説明した各モノマーを共重合させることにより得られる。重合方法は特に限定されないが、ポリマー設計が容易な点からラジカル溶液重合またはラジカル乳化重合が好ましい。また、アクリル系共重合体(A)とそのモノマーとからなるアクリルシロップをまず調製し、このアクリルシロップに架橋剤と追加の光重合開始剤を配合して重合させても良い。
粘着剤組成物には、粘着力等を調整する目的で必要に応じて粘着付与剤(C)を添加してもよい。粘着付与剤の具体例としては、ロジン系樹脂、テルペン系樹脂、石油系樹脂、アルキルフェノール樹脂、キシレン系樹脂およびその他樹脂等の粘着付与樹脂が挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。これらの中では、特に、ロジン系樹脂、キシレン系樹脂が好ましい。
粘着付与剤の軟化点は、好ましくは125℃以上であり、より好ましくは135℃以上である。この軟化点は、JIS K 2531(環球法)に準じて測定した値である。
ロジン系樹脂としては、水添樹脂、不均化樹脂、重合エステル樹脂等を挙げことができる。テルペン系樹脂としては、テルペンフェノール樹脂、αピネン系樹脂、βピネン系樹脂等を挙げことができる。石油系樹脂としては、脂肪族系樹脂、芳香族系樹脂等を挙げことができる。
粘着付与剤(C)のアクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対する割合は、好ましくは0質量部以上15質量部以下、より好ましくは0質量部以上12質量部以下から選択することができる。粘着付与剤の添加量が15質量部より多いと、高温保持性が低下する場合がある。粘着付与剤を用いる場合の含有割合の下限は特に限定されず適宜設定可能であるが、アクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対して1質量部以上とすることができる。
本発明の粘着剤組成物は、更に無機フィラーや遮光性フィラー、顔料等の各種添加剤の少なくとも1種を更に含んでいても良い。
フィラーや顔料のアクリル系共重合体(A)100質量部に対する割合は、0.1質量部以上100質量部以下の範囲から選択することができる。
無機フィラーの具体例としてはシリカ、炭酸カルシウム、アルミナが挙げられる。
遮光性フィラーの具体例としては、カーボンブラック、カーボンナノチューブ、黒色無機フィラーが挙げられる。
顔料の具体例としては、カーボンブラック、アニリンブラック、アセチレンブラック、ケッチェンブラックが挙げられる。
本発明の粘着テープは、上述した粘着剤組成物を含む粘着剤層を有する。
粘着テープは、使用時における形態が粘着剤層のみからなる、いわゆる「ベースレスタイプ」として、あるいは基材の少なくとも一方の面に粘着剤層を有し、基材と粘着剤層が一体となって使用される形態として提供することができる。
図1(a)~(c)は本発明にかかる粘着テープの一実施形態を示す図である。
図1(a)に示す粘着テープは、片面粘着テープであり、本発明にかかる粘着剤組成物から形成した粘着剤層2をテープ状の基材1の上面(A面)に有する。
図1(b)に示す粘着テープは、両面粘着テープであり、テープ状の基材1の両面(上面:A面及び下面:B面)の両方に粘着剤層2-1、2-2を有し、2つの粘着剤層の少なくとも一方が本発明にかかる粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着剤層からなる。
図1(c)に示す粘着テープは、ベースレスタイプの粘着テープであり、粘着剤層2のみからなる。
これらの粘着テープは、公知の方法により製造することができる。代表的な方法としては、粘着剤層形成用の支持体上に粘着剤組成物を均一に塗布し、架橋反応させて粘着剤層を形成する方法を挙げることができる。
図1(a)及び(b)に示す基材1となる支持体を粘着剤層形成用として用いることにより、基材上に粘着剤層を直接形成することができる。
あるいは、粘着剤層形成用の支持体上に形成した粘着剤層を図1(a)及び(b)に示す基材1上に転写により貼り合わせて、粘着剤層2、2-1、2-2を形成することもできる。
粘着剤層形成用としてシート状の支持体を用い、支持体上に形成した粘着剤層を所望のテープ形状に裁断して分割する方法を用いることにより、粘着テープを効率良く製造することができる。
図1(c)に示すベースレスタイプの粘着テープは、支持体上に形成した粘着剤層を、剥離ライナー上に転写することにより得ることができる。
転写用の支持体としては、離型紙や離型性の表面を有するプラスチックフィルム等を用いることができる。
粘着剤層形成用の支持体上での粘着剤組成物の架橋反応には、加熱及び/または紫外線照射による架橋反応を利用することができる。
図1(a)における基材1のB面には、必要に応じて離型層を設けることができる。これにより、粘着テープをロール状に巻回する際に基材1のB面に粘着剤層2が転写することを防ぐとともに、巻き戻しやすさを維持できる。
図1(b)における基材1のA面及びB面の少なくとも一方にも、コロナ放電処理などの表面処理を施したり、下塗り層を設けたり、その両方を行ったりすることができる。これにより、粘着剤層2-1及び/または粘着剤層2-2、の基材1に対する密着性を向上させることができる。
粘着剤層の厚さは、好ましくは5μm以上100μm以下、より好ましくは10μm以上80μm以下である。
基材1を構成する材料としては、例えば、プラスチックフィルム、金属箔、紙、織布、不織布、発泡体が挙げられる。これらは、二種以上を併用しても良い。基材用のプラスチックフィルムの構成材料としては、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)、ポリイミド(PI)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、2軸延伸ポリプロピレン(OPP)、ポリフェニルファイド(PPS)等を挙げることができる。
発泡体の構成材料としては、ウレタン、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリプロピレ(PP)等を挙げることができる。
〔アクリル系共重合体(A)の調製)〕
攪拌機、温度計、還流冷却器及び窒素ガス導入管を備えた反応装置に、表1及び表2に示すモノマー成分と、溶媒として酢酸エチルと、連鎖移動剤としてn-ドデカンチオール及びラジカル重合開始剤としてパーロイルL0.1部を仕込んだ。反応装置内に窒素ガスを封入し、攪拌しながら窒素ガス気流下で68℃、3時間、その後78℃、3時間、重合濃度50%で重合反応させた。その後、室温まで冷却し、酸化防止剤を添加した。これにより、アクリル系共重合体(A)を得た。

上記のモノマー化合物中、「AA」、「MA」、「Vac」はTg’が273K以上437K以下の範囲にあるモノマー(AHTg)であり、それ以外のモノマーのTg’はこの範囲外にある。
比較例1では、モノマー組成及び重合度を、粘着指数が2.0×10-2以上となるように調整した。
比較例2~5では、モノマー組成及び重合度を、粘着指数が1.5×10-2以下となるように調整した。
表1及び表2に示す各モノマー組成を用いて調整したアクリル系共重合体(A)の固形分100部に対して、架橋剤としてのコロネートL(日本ポリウレタン社製、商品名コロネートL:固形分濃度45%)を1.3部加えて混合し、粘着剤組成物を調製した。
この粘着剤組成物を、厚さ約0.12mmのシリコーン処理された離型紙上に乾燥後の粘着剤組成物の厚みが0.05mmになるように塗布した。次いで、110℃×2分間で溶媒を除去・乾燥させると共に架橋反応させた。その後、赤外線ヒーターの実効温度が105℃以上110℃以下になるよう設定された赤外線ヒーターで2分間架橋反応させて粘着剤層を形成した。この粘着剤層を、コロナ放電処理した厚さ0.15mmのポリオレフィン素材シート基材の両面に貼り合せた。そして40℃で3日間養生し、厚さ0.05mmの粘着剤層を有する両面粘着テープを得た。
表中の各成分に付記する数値は配合量(部)であり、各成分の化合物名は以下の通りである。
・「コロネートL」:イソシアネート系架橋剤(日本ポリウレタン社製、商品名コロネートL)
各実施例及び比較例で得た粘着テープを、以下の方法で評価し、評価結果を表1及び表2に示した。
(粘着力)
粘着力は、JIS Z 0237:2000に準拠した試験方法を用いて測定し、以下の基準で粘着力を評価した。被着体として、ステンレス鋼板(SUS304BA板)、POM板(東レプラスチック精工株式会社製、POM(NC))、ポリカーボネート板(タキロンシーアイ株式会社製、PC1600)(これらを表1、表2においてそれぞれ「SUS」、「POM」、「PC板」と記載する)を用いた。
△:5N/10mm未満
○:5N/10mm以上10N/10mm未満
◎:10N/10mm以上
この評価基準においては、ジッピングせず、評価が○以上であることが望ましい。
(耐衝撃性)
耐衝撃性には、デュポン耐衝撃性試験方法を用いた。
すなわち、図2(a)に示すように、粘着テープを平面形状がL2(横)=45mm、L1(縦)=50mmの長方形の周縁部がW(幅)1mmで残るように枠状の形状となるようにカットして測定用サンプル6を用意した。図2(b)に試験機の概要を模式的に示す。図2(b)では、サンプル6及び被着体5、7を厚さ方向の断面図として示す。図2(b)に示すように100gの治具4を取り付け、その上から200gのおもり3を、100mm、125mm、150mm、175mm、…と各高さから下側の被着体(ガラス板)7が落下するまで3回ずつ落とす。
被着体の組み合わせは、穴あきPC板(タキロンシーアイ株式会社製、PC1600)(厚さ4mm×横50mm×縦100mm(中央40mm×40mm角窓抜)5とガラス板7(旭硝子株式会社製、FL2)(厚さ1.9mm×横50mm×縦60mm)とし、ガラス板7側が下側になるようにセッティングした。
被着体が落下した際のおもりの高さに基づいて以下の基準によって耐衝撃性を評価した。
×:100mmで落下
△:125mmで落下
○:150mmで落下
◎:175mm以上で落下
この評価基準においては、評価結果が○以上であることが望ましい。
(タック)
タックは、JIS Z 0237に準拠した試験方法を用いて測定した。なお、傾斜角度は10°とした。
測定値に基づいて以下の基準でタックを評価した。
×:5未満
△:5以上10未満
○:10以上15未満
◎:15以上
この評価基準においては、評価結果が○以上であることが望ましい。
(耐荷重性)
耐荷重性については、図3のように、SUS304製のL型の治具9(25g)を粘着テープ8(10mm×10mm;基材8a、粘着剤層8b)にて被着体(POM板またはポリカーボネート板)に貼り合わせ、90℃に静置して、落下までの時間を測定した。
測定値に基づいて以下の基準で高温保持性の指標となる耐荷重性を評価した。

○:5分以上10分未満
◎:10分以上
この評価基準においては、評価結果が○以上であることが望ましい。
Claims (10)
- アクリル系共重合体(A)の理論Tgが223K以下である、請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系共重合体(A)が、カルボキシル基及び水酸基を有するアクリル系共重合体であり、請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系共重合体(A)のモノマー成分が、炭素原子数が4以上12以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A1)、炭素原子数1以上3以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A2)、カルボキシル基含有モノマー(A3)及び水酸基含有モノマー(A4)を含む、請求項3に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系共重合体(A)のモノマー成分が、全モノマー成分100質量%中、炭素原子数が4以上12以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A1)50質量%以上90質量%以下、炭素原子数1以上3以下のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(A2)3質量%以上10質量%以下、カルボキシル基含有モノマー(A3)1質量%以上10質量%以下、及び水酸基含有モノマー(A4)0.1質量%以上0.5質量%以下を含む、請求項4に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- カルボキシル基含有モノマー(A3)と水酸基含有モノマー(A4)の合計含有量が10.5質量%以下である、請求項5に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系共重合体のモノマー成分が、モノマー成分(A1)~(A4)以外のビニル化合物モノマー(A5)を含む、請求項4に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- アクリル系共重合体のモノマー成分が、モノマー成分(A1)~(A4)以外のビニル化合物モノマー(A5)の10質量%以下を含む、請求項5に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 請求項1~8に記載の粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着剤層を有する粘着テープ。
- シート状の基材と、シート状の基材の少なくとも一方の面に設けられた粘着剤層を有する、請求項9に記載の粘着テープ。
