In this case, these two movable vanes 145 and 146 are formed to extend in mutually opposite directions (in other words, on the same imaginary plane) via the shaft 141 . These movable vanes 145 and 146 are formed in the shape of grooves in which the C-shaped (or U-shaped) tip portions facing the bottom portion 103a, the housing portion wall surface 103b, and the inner surface of the lid body 130 are respectively recessed. A seal body 147 is fitted in each of these grooves.

It is formed in a movable vane 146 that partitions the private room R3 and the private room R4. Specifically, the in-vane one-way communication passage 152 is a one-way valve that allows the hydraulic fluid 160 to flow only from the private room R3 side to the private room R4 side, and restricts the flow of the hydraulic fluid 160 and allows the fluid to flow in both directions. A throttle valve that permits is arranged in series.
- in-shaft two-way communication passages 143, in-shaft one-way communication passages 144, in-vane two-way communication passages 151 and in-vane one-way communication passages 152 allow the damper device 100 to distribute the hydraulic fluid 160 between the private rooms R1 to R4.
- a damping force is generated when the rotor 140 rotates due to the restricted flow. That is, the damper device 100 according to the present embodiment is configured by a rotary damper that generates a damping force during rotational motion.
- the hydraulic fluid 160 is a substance that causes the damper device 100 to act as a damper by applying resistance to the movable vanes 145 and 146 that rotate the hydraulic fluid storage portion 103 . be satisfied.
- the hydraulic fluid 160 is composed of a fluid, gel-like or semi-solid substance having a viscosity corresponding to the specifications of the damper device 100 . Since the outflow is restricted and a high pressure state is established, the rotor 140 rotates counterclockwise in the figure while generating a damping force smaller than the damping force in clockwise rotation in the figure, which will be described later.
- damper device 100 when the rear wheels of the self-propelled vehicle climb over a step and the swing arm descends from the raised state, the rotor 140 rotates clockwise. That is, in damper device 100 , movable vane 145 rotates toward fixed vane 105 and movable vane 146 rotates toward fixed vane 104 .

- the compensating device accommodating portion 110 has the opening 111 for inserting and removing the volume change compensating device 120 on the side opposite to the lid body 130 .
- the damper device 100 allows the volume change compensator 120 to be taken in and out from the opposite side of the lid 130 , and the compensator accommodating portion 110 is formed in close contact with the lid 130 to maintain the external shape of the damper device 100 .
- the shape can be miniaturized and simplified to increase the variety of installation locations.
