Abstract
Description
図1を参照して、スイッチシステムの適用例を説明する。図1は、スイッチシステムの構成を模式的に示すブロック図である。スイッチシステムは、コントローラ1と、複数のスイッチ2と、コントローラ1と複数のスイッチ2とを環状に接続する信号線3、4と、を備える。スイッチ2は、例えば、非接触式のスイッチ(非接触スイッチ)である。図1では、スイッチシステムが、3つのスイッチ2(2A、2B及び2C)を備える構成が例示されているが、スイッチ2の個数は増減可能である。スイッチシステムは、2つのスイッチ2を備えてもよいし、4つ以上のスイッチ2を備えてもよい。
図1を参照して、コントローラ1及びスイッチ2の構成について説明する。コントローラ1は、複数のスイッチ2のうちの一つにパルス信号を送信し、複数のスイッチ2のうちの一つからパルス信号を受信することで、複数のスイッチ2を監視している。図1に示すように、コントローラ1と複数のスイッチ2とが環状に接続されている。すなわち、コントローラ1と複数のスイッチ2とが直列で接続されている。例えば、コントローラ1と各スイッチ2とをそれぞれ直接接続する場合、コントローラ1は、スイッチ2の接続台数分の端子を有する必要がある。本実施形態のシステム構成では、コントローラ1と複数のスイッチ2とを直列で接続しているので、コントローラ1の端子の数を減らすことができる。
スイッチシステムが採用する通信プロトコルについて説明する。まず、図2を参照して、起動時の通信プロトコルについて説明する。起動時とは、例えば、コントローラ1と複数のスイッチ2とを接続し、コントローラ1及び複数のスイッチ2の電源をONしたときのスタートアップ処理が行われる間や、スタートアップ処理の後の所定時間などである。図2の(A-1)は、起動時の通信プロトコルのフォーマットの一例である。図2の(A-2)は、起動時にスイッチ2Bが受け取る信号の波形(通信波形)の一例である。図2に示すように、データの先頭にデータ送信開始の情報(start部)と、データの末尾にデータ送信終了の情報(stop部)が付加されている。type部は、起動時モード又は通常時モードを決定するための情報である。図2では、パルス信号におけるtype部の部分がHighレベルであるため、スイッチ2Bは、現在のモードが起動時モードであることを認識する。

前記複数のスイッチのそれぞれは、作動体と、前記作動体の近接を検知する検知部と、前記信号線を介して前記信号を受信する受信部と、前記作動体が前記検知部に近接しているか否かを示す近接情報を前記信号に含ませる制御部と、前記信号線を介して前記近接情報を含ませた前記信号を送信する送信部とを有し、
前記コントローラが前記第2のスイッチから受信する前記信号は、前記複数のスイッチのそれぞれの前記近接情報を含む
