Abstract
Description
本願は、2020年12月24日に、日本に出願された特願2020-214890号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
なお、以下の実施形態は、本発明の一態様を示すものであり、この発明を限定するものではなく、本発明の技術的思想の範囲内で任意に変更可能である。また、以下の図面においては、各構成をわかりやすくするために、実際の構造と各構造における縮尺や数等を異ならせている。
一実施形態の歯ブラシについて、以下に図面を参照して説明する。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る歯ブラシ1の全体構成を示す斜視図である。図2は、歯ブラシ1におけるヘッド部23とブラシ部3との分解斜視図である。図3は、ブラシ部3の要部を部分的に拡大して示す斜視図である。図4は、図1に示すIV-IV線に沿う断面図である。図5は、ブラシピース31におけるフィラメント312の配置例を示す斜視図である。図6は、ブラシピース31における第1の嵌合部313の形状例を示す斜視図である。
図1に示すように、歯ブラシ本体2は、軸方向に沿って長さを有するハンドル部21と、ハンドル部21の先端側から軸方向に延設されたネック部22と、ネック部22の先端側であってハンドル部21とは反対側に設けられたヘッド部23と、を有する。なお、歯ブラシ1としては、ハンドル部21とヘッド部23との間にネック部22が設けられない構成であってもよい。
図2に示すように、ブラシ部3は、複数のブラシピース31により構成されている。本実施形態では、5つのブラシピース31を組み合わせて構成されている。ブラシ部3を構成する5つのブラシピース31は、3種類の形状に分かれている。
ブラシ部3の各ブラシピース31A,31B,31Cを構成する軟質樹脂としては、ポリウレタン系を用いることが好ましい。これにより、薄肉な部位にも機械的な強度を確保することができるので、製造時や使用時に、フィラメントや第1の嵌合部が破損してしまうのを防ぐことができる。また、ポリウレタン系の軟質樹脂は、他のエラストマーに比べて選択できる硬度が幅広い。そのため、成形体の厚みに応じて、歯ブラシ1としての使用性(例えば、フィラメントの屈曲性)を考慮した樹脂硬度の選択が可能である。
隣り合うフィラメント列N1,N2において、それぞれを構成する各フィラメント312同士は、ヘッド部23の長さ方向における位置が一致しており、ヘッド部23の幅方向で隣り合う配列で形成されている。すなわち、ブラシピース31における一方のフィラメント列N1のフィラメント312と、他方のフィラメント列N2のフィラメント312とが、ヘッド部23の幅方向で隣り合っている。
第1ブラシピース31Aにおける複数のフィラメント312Aは、図3に示すように、互いに径が異なる3つの円柱部1a、1b、1cを有する。これら円柱部1a,1b,1cは互いに同軸をなし、基端側から先端側へ向かって段階的に径が細くなっている。
円柱部1aの上端面、円柱部1bの上端面及び円柱部1cの上端面は、いずれも土台部311の表面311aに平行である。また、円柱部1aと円柱部1bとの間に形成される段差と、円柱部1bと円柱部1cとの間に形成される段差とは、径方向における大きさが略等しい。
第2ブラシピース31Bにおける複数のフィラメント312Bは、三角柱状部2aと、三角テーパー部2bと、三角錐部2cと、を有する。これら三角柱状部2a、三角テーパー部2b及び三角錐部2cは、周方向における互いの一面が土台部311の長さ方向で一致しており、土台部311の表面311aに対して垂直な側面2eを構成している。フィラメント312Bの側面2eは、フィラメント312Bの基部から先端にかけて延びる垂直面であって、ヘッド部23の先端側を向いている。
三角テーパー部2bは、三角柱状部2aの平面視三角形の上端から長さ方向に延びる。三角テーパー部2bの周方向の3面のうち、側面2eを構成する面を除く他の2つの面2b1が長さ方向に対して傾斜している。これら2つの面は、三角柱状部2aから先端側へ向かうに従って互いに側面2e側へと傾斜している。これによって、三角テーパー部2bは、先端側へ向かうにしたがって細くなっている。
三角錐部2cは、フィラメント312Bの先端に位置し、三角テーパー部2bの上端から長さ方向に延びる。
第3ブラシピース31Cのフィラメント312Cは、土台部311に接続された基部側が矩形角柱形状をなし、先端側に行くにしたがって細く(薄く)なる形状とされている。フィラメント312Cは、正面側から見た形状が矩形状であり、その長さ方向がヘッド部23の幅方向に平行であり、フィラメント312Cの幅方向(厚さ方向)がヘッド部23の長さ方向に平行である。
フィラメント312の基端側の断面積が0.8mm2を超える大きさの場合、フィラメント312が撓みにくくなり、歯間や歯頚部といった隙間の清掃性が低下してしまう。一方、0.16mm2未満の場合、フィラメント312の強度を確保しにくい。
また、例えば、第2のフィラメント312Bの基端側の断面積は、約0.298mm2である。また、例えば、第3のフィラメント312Cの基端側の断面積は、約0.426mm2である。
各ブラシピース31A,31B,31Cにおける各土台部311は、平面視矩形状をなしており、幅方向の寸法、長さ方向の寸法は互いに等しい。本実施形態においては、土台部311の幅方向(短辺)に対する長さ方向(長辺)の寸法の比は、2以上である。
土台部311の長さL311は、10mm以上、50mm以下の範囲内が好ましく、15mm以上、30mm以下の範囲内がより好ましい。
土台部311の厚さT311は、0.5mm以上、5mm以下の範囲内が好ましく、1mm以上、2.5mm以下の範囲内がより好ましい。
第1の嵌合部313の数は多い方が、製造時の離型抵抗に対抗することができるため好ましい。ただし、ヘッド部23側との強度の兼ね合いから、土台部311の底面23cの面積に対する複数の第1の嵌合部313の総底面積の割合を考慮して、第1の嵌合部313の本数、形状等を設定することが好ましい。
図7は、本実施形態における歯ブラシ1の製造方法を説明するための図である。図8A~図8Gは、本実施形態における第1の嵌合部313の端部313bの断面形状例を示す図である。
図7に示すように、ブラシピース31A,31B,31Cごとに、形状が異なる3組の金型40A,40B,40C(固定側金型41A,41B,41C、可動側金型42A,42B,42C)をそれぞれ用意する。各固定側金型41A,41B,41C及び各可動側金型42A,42B,42Cは、各ブラシピース31A,31B,31Cの形状を反映させた固定側キャビティ41a、41b,41cと、可動側キャビティ42a、42b,42cと、をそれぞれ有する。
このようにして、本実施形態の歯ブラシ1をインサート製法により製造する。
この場合、ブラシ部3の全体の成形に対応した一次金型を用意する。
一次金型は、3種類のブラシピース31A,31B,31Cからなるブラシ部3のフィラメント312A,312B,312Cの形状を反映させた1つのキャビティを有する固定側金型と、各ブラシピース31A,31B,31Cにおけるそれぞれの土台部311及び複数の第1の嵌合部313の形状を反映させた1つのキャビティを有する可動側金型と、を用いる。
歯ブラシ1として、ブラシ部3と歯ブラシ本体2とを一体化する方法としては、5種類の方法が挙げられる。
図9Aは、ヘッドピース法による製法を説明するための図である。図9Bは、キャップ成形法による製法を説明するための図である。図9Cは、接着剤充填法による製法を説明するための図である。図9Dは、熱かしめ法による製法を説明するための図である。
次に、ブラシピース31の土台部311の変形例について述べる。
図10A~図10Jは、ブラシピース31の土台部311の平面視における形状を示す正面図である。
上記実施形態では、ブラシピース31の土台部311の平面視における形状が矩形状であるが、これに限られず、適宜変更が可能である。図10A~図10Jは、土台部311の形状例を示す図であって、歯ブラシ1の正面側から見た土台部311の平面視形状を示す図である。
図11A~図11Hは、ブラシ部3の変形例を示す正面図である。
上記実施形態では、5つのブラシピース31からブラシ部3が構成されているが、ブラシ部3を構成するブラシピース31の数は、5つに限らず、適宜変更が可能である。図11A~図11Hに示すように、例えば、4つ以下のブラシピース31から構成してもよいし、6つ以上のブラシピース31から構成してもよい。
図11Eに示すように、ヘッド部23の長さ方向に対して、複数のブラシピース31をそれぞれの長さ方向が交差する姿勢で配列した第1部位R1と、ヘッド部23の幅方向両側であって上記第1部位R1の両側に、長さ方向に複数の毛束部(エラストマー部)が配列された第2部位R2と、が混在したブラシ部3としてもよい。
ここでは、各ブラシピース31において、互いに長さが等しく、複数のフィラメント312が千鳥配列されているが、これに限らない。
Claims (8)
- 複数のブラシピースを有するブラシ部と、
ヘッド部の正面に前記ブラシ部が一体成形された歯ブラシ本体と、を備え、
D硬度70以下の軟質樹脂からなる前記ブラシピースは、
土台部と、
前記土台部の表面に形成された複数のフィラメントと、
前記土台部の裏面に形成され前記歯ブラシ本体に嵌合する第1の嵌合部と、を有し、
硬質樹脂からなる前記歯ブラシ本体は、前記第1の嵌合部に嵌合する第2の嵌合部を有している、
歯ブラシ。 - 前記第1の嵌合部は、前記土台部において、前記複数のフィラメントが形成された表面とは反対側の裏面に形成されており、
前記フィラメントの前記表面からの長さに対する前記第1の嵌合部の前記裏面からの長さの比は、0.2以上、1.0以下である、
請求項1に記載の歯ブラシ。 - 前記軟質樹脂の硬度、前記フィラメントの長さ、前記フィラメントの形状、前記フィラメントの色、前記軟質樹脂の種類のうちのいずれか1つ以上が異なる前記ブラシピースを、複数並べて構成されている、

前記複数のブラシピースは、前記保持部の厚さ方向を貫通する複数の貫通孔内に、前記保持部の正面側から前記複数の第1の嵌合部がそれぞれ挿入されて前記保持部の背面側において互いに連結されており、
前記保持部は、前記ヘッド部の正面に開口する正面側凹部内に配置される、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の歯ブラシ。 - 複数の前記ブラシピースの各第1の嵌合部を連結する充填部を有し、
前記歯ブラシ本体は、前記ヘッド部の背面に開口する背面側凹部を有し、

土台部と、前記土台部の表面に形成された複数のフィラメントと、前記土台部の裏面に形成され前記歯ブラシ本体に嵌合する第1の嵌合部と、を有する前記ブラシピースを成形し、
前記ブラシ部と前記歯ブラシ本体とを一体成形する工程では、
前記第1の嵌合部に嵌合する第2の嵌合部を有した硬質樹脂からなる前記歯ブラシ本体を成形する、
