Definitions

  • the present disclosure relates to thermally conductive additives, thermally conductive composite materials, and wire harnesses.
  • a heat conductive additive may be added to an organic polymer material for the purpose of improving heat dissipation and suppressing the influence of heat generation due to energization or the like.
  • a heat conductive filler made of particles of an inorganic compound having high heat conductivity such as alumina, aluminum nitride, and boron nitride is generally used.
  • a heat conductive filler made of an inorganic compound is added to an organic polymer material as a heat conductive additive, it is necessary to bring the particles of the heat conductive filler close to each other or bring them into contact with each other to form a heat conductive path. Therefore, in order to obtain sufficient thermal conductivity, the amount of the thermally conductive filler added is large. It may be necessary to add a large amount of thermally conductive filler to the organic polymer, such as 50% by volume or more. When such a large amount of an inorganic compound is added to an organic polymer, problems such as an influence on the properties of the organic polymer such as strength, an increase in specific gravity, and a decrease in insulating property occur, and the desired high material properties can be obtained. It can be difficult to secure.

  • highly oriented sites such as mesogen groups are introduced into the molecular structure, the processability of organic polymers and additives tends to be lowered due to the intramolecular interaction associated with the orientation of those sites. For example, if a highly oriented portion is introduced into a thermoplastic organic polymer, the melting point of the organic polymer becomes high, and it is necessary to heat it to a high temperature in order to perform molding.
  • the additive when an additive having a high molecular orientation is used, the additive is likely to have a decrease in solubility in a solvent and crystal precipitation, which limits the use of the additive. ..

Description

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-C000002
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-C000003
