Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a composition for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth comprising a camellia peel extract as an active ingredient. More specifically, a camellia peel extract, which promotes hair growth by inducing proliferation of dermal papilla cells, and inhibits the activity of 5-alpha reductase to inhibit dihydrotestosterone production, thereby preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. It relates to a cosmetic composition, a pharmaceutical composition, and a food composition including as an active ingredient.
