Definitions
- One embodiment of the present invention relates to a dust inhibitor and a dust suppression method using the same. Specifically, an embodiment of the present invention adsorbs dust scattered during coal unloading by a bucket, suppresses the generation of additional dust in the transport process such as a hopper and conveyor belt system, and at the same time extinguishes automatic oxidation of coal by cooling action It relates to a multi-purpose coal dust inhibitor and a dust suppression method using the same.
- Coal which is a porous material, generally generates dust during loading and unloading operations.
- coal absorbs oxygen in the air during unloading and transport, and the oxygen and volatile matter react to generate heat.
- the surface area increases and the contact surface with oxygen expands, so the dust promotes automatic oxidation. Due to this automatic oxidation phenomenon, the volatile matter is volatilized and a bad odor is generated due to the harmful gas.
- the actual customer who uses coal stores coal through unloading and transporting, and the first important factor is to form air bubbles and adsorb the dust scattered during the unloading operation by bucket, and the main function of the bubble-type scattering inhibitor is.
- the bubble-type shatterproof agent maximizes the surface area compared to water to reduce the scattered dust by adsorbing the scattered dust, but it prevents additional dust generation due to lack of permeability when transported to the storage by the hopper and conveyor belt system after bucket operation. It cannot be suppressed and the generation of harmful gases due to the automatic oxidation of volatile matter cannot be suppressed. Therefore, it is the second important factor to have permeability to suppress the generation of harmful gases by quickly reducing the air bubbles adsorbing the dust to the liquid phase and rapidly penetrating into the coal to suppress the generation of additional dust and to extinguish the automatic oxidation by cooling action.
- a bubble-type anti-scattering agent that uses polyvinyl alcohol and a surfactant to prevent scattering of dust.
- polyvinyl alcohol, a surfactant, and an additive are mixed with water as the main raw material and sprayed in the form of bubbles, and the film formed hardens the surface of the coal to suppress dust.
- the function of the dust adsorption function of the bubble is not considered fundamentally, only to maximize the efficiency and reduce the amount of use.
- Such a scattering inhibitor is not a countermeasure to the dust generated during the transfer operation, but merely suppresses the generation of dust by hardening the surface of the stacked coal.
- An embodiment of the present invention is to provide a dust inhibitor and a dust suppression method using the same. Specifically, an embodiment of the present invention adsorbs dust scattered during coal unloading by a bucket, suppresses the generation of additional dust in the transport process such as a hopper and conveyor belt system, and at the same time extinguishes automatic oxidation of coal by cooling action An object of the present invention is to provide a multipurpose coal dust inhibitor and a dust suppression method using the same.

- the carbon groups of the hydrophobic part are adsorbed to the surface of the coal by the composition and mixing ratio described above, and the hydrophilic part and the glycol groups are attracted to water molecules to reduce the interfacial tension of the coal surface. do.
- This increases the adsorption capacity of coal and water, allowing the coal to quickly absorb water, thereby increasing the weight of fine coal molecules and suppressing the generation of additional dust.
- the additional suppression of dust generation by the permeability suppresses the generation of dust for a certain period of time by remaining as a characteristic agglomeration phenomenon (caking) even after moisture is evaporated.
- the dust inhibitor contains 10 to 60% by weight of an anionic surfactant.
- Anionic surfactants improve permeability together with nonionic surfactants. If too little anionic surfactant is included, the permeability and foaming property of the dust inhibitor cannot be adequately ensured.
