図1は、本発明に係る収容ユニット1Aの概要を示している。収容ユニット1Aは、ケーブルを収容する樹脂容器により構成されている。ケーブルとは、例えば、各家庭などに電力を伝送する電力伝送ケーブル(後述する電力線7)、および情報を伝送する通信伝送ケーブル(後述する通信線6)などである。収容ユニット1Aは、道路2の側溝3に所定間隔をおいて配置される複数の角筒状の第1の樹脂容器10と、これら第1の樹脂容器10の間に配置される複数の角筒状の第2の樹脂容器20と、を備える。詳細は後述するが、第1の樹脂容器10には、ケーブルが接続される無線基地局が収容される。収容ユニット1Aは、無線基地局が配置される場所に第1の樹脂容器10が配置され、ケーブルが延伸する方向において、第1の樹脂容器10の前方または後方(ケーブルが延伸する方向の一方側または他方側)に第2の樹脂容器20が配置される。
以下、上記収容ユニット1Aの第1実施形態について説明する。なお、以下の参照図面での無線基地局8は、図2に示したアンテナ8bの図示を省略し、本体部8aを図示して無線基地局8とする。
第1実施形態に係る収容ユニット1Aは、地中4に埋設され、無線基地局8が収容される筒状の第1の樹脂容器10と、第1の樹脂容器10に隣接して地中4に埋設され、その内部が第1の樹脂容器10の内部と連通する筒状の第2の樹脂容器20と、を備える。第1の樹脂容器10は、第2の樹脂容器20との境界部31、32よりも高さ位置が高い頂部15cと、頂部15cから境界部31、32にわたりしだいに高さ位置が低くなる湾曲面15a、15bと、を有する排水部15を備える。第2の樹脂容器20は、境界部31、32よりも高さ位置が低く、排水部15から排水を受ける排水受け部25を備える。
次に、図5および図6を参照して本発明の第2実施形態に係る収容ユニット1Bについて説明する。第2実施形態で参照する図面においては、上記第1実施形態と同一の構成要素には同一の符号を付してそれらの説明は省略し、第1実施形態との相違点について説明する。
第2実施形態に係る収容ユニット1Bにおいて、第1の樹脂容器10は、第1の底部12と、上方に開口する第1の開口部14と、を有する第1の容器本体11と、第1の容器本体11の第1の開口部14を塞ぐ第1の蓋体16と、を備える。第2の樹脂容器20は、第2の底部22と、上方に開口する第2の開口部24と、を有する第2の容器本体21と、第2の容器本体21の第2の開口部24を塞ぐ第2の蓋体26と、を備える。第1の蓋体16と、第2の蓋体26との間に境界部41および境界部42が設けられ、第1の蓋体16が排水部19を有し、第2の蓋体26が排水部19から排水を受ける排水受け部27を有する。
次に、図7~図9を参照して、上記第1実施形態に係る3つの変更例(第1~第3の変更例)について説明する。これら変更例は、第1の樹脂容器10内での無線基地局8の収容の仕方を変更したものである。

- ケーブルを収容する樹脂容器により構成される収容ユニットであって、
前記樹脂容器は、
前記ケーブルが接続される無線通信装置が収容される第1の樹脂容器と、
前記ケーブルが延伸する方向において、前記第1の樹脂容器の前方または後方に配置され、その内部が前記第1の樹脂容器の内部と連通する第2の樹脂容器と、を含み、
前記第1の樹脂容器は、前記第2の樹脂容器との境界部よりも高さ位置が高い頂部と、該頂部から前記境界部にわたり高さ位置が低くなる高さ変位部と、を有する排水部を備え、
前記第2の樹脂容器は、前記境界部よりも高さ位置が低く、前記排水部から排水を受ける排水受け部を有する収容ユニット。 - 前記第1の樹脂容器は、
第1の底部と、上方に開口する第1の開口部と、を有する第1の容器本体と、前記第1の容器本体の前記第1の開口部を塞ぐ第1の蓋体と、を備え、
前記第2の樹脂容器は、
第2の底部と、上方に開口する第2の開口部と、を有する第2の容器本体と、前記第2の容器本体の前記第2の開口部を塞ぐ第2の蓋体と、を備え、
前記ケーブルが延伸する方向において、前記第1の樹脂容器の前方または後方に前記第2の樹脂容器を配置したときに、前記第1の底部と、前記第2の底部との間に前記境界部が設けられ、
前記第1の底部が前記排水部を有し、
前記第2の底部が前記排水受け部を有する請求項1に記載の収容ユニット。 - 前記第1の樹脂容器は、
第1の底部と、上方に開口する第1の開口部と、を有する第1の容器本体と、前記第1の容器本体の前記第1の開口部を塞ぐ第1の蓋体と、を備え、
前記第2の樹脂容器は、
第2の底部と、上方に開口する第2の開口部と、を有する第2の容器本体と、前記第2の容器本体の前記第2の開口部を塞ぐ第2の蓋体と、を備え、
前記ケーブルが延伸する方向において、前記第1の樹脂容器の前方または後方に前記第2の樹脂容器を配置したときに、前記第1の蓋体と、前記第2の蓋体との間に前記境界部が設けられ、
前記第1の蓋体が前記排水部を有し、
前記第2の蓋体が前記排水受け部を有する請求項1に記載の収容ユニット。 - 前記無線通信装置は、前記排水部の前記頂部に載置される請求項2に記載の収容ユニット。
- 前記第1の樹脂容器は、前記第1の底部から上方に離間する支持部を有し、
前記無線通信装置は、防水ケースに収容された状態で前記支持部に支持される請求項2または3に記載の収容ユニット。 - 前記第1の蓋体は、前記無線通信装置を液密的に密閉して収容する収容室を有し、
前記無線通信装置は、前記収容室内に収容される請求項2または3に記載の収容ユニット。
