Abstract
The invention relates to a disassemblable grill for cooking food on a barbecue. The grill consists of a rectangular frame with parallel longitudinal slats fastened, with the aid of handles, in two rectangular perforated plates having round and rectangular holes. The longitudinal removable slats have tapered flat portions toward their ends, said portions having a smaller width than the whole of the slat. In the event of assembly, all of the ends of the slats pass into the rectangular holes in the plates and are tightly secured by means of at least two I-shaped handles having threads on the ends and flattened regions on the bars of the handles. The handles are placed in the round holes in the plates, at the outer edges of the structure, and are secured by means of fastening elements in the form of wing nuts. The result is a structure having a large area comprised of slats that protect against direct flame.
