本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种无边框液晶显示面板及其制作方法。
背景技术
随着显示技术的发展,由液晶显示面板构成的液晶显示器 (Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)等平面显示装置因具有高画质、省电、机身薄、无辐射等优点,而被广泛的应用于手机、电视、个人数字助理、数字相机、笔记本电脑、台式计算机等各种消费性电子产 品,成为显示装置中的主流。
通常液晶显示面板由彩膜基板(CF,Color Filter)、薄膜晶体管基板(TFT,Thin Film Transistor)、夹于彩膜基板与薄膜晶体管基板之间的液晶(LC,Liquid Crystal)及密封胶框(Sealant)组成,其成型工艺一般包括:前段阵列(Array)制程(薄膜、黄光、蚀刻及剥膜)、中段成盒(Cell)制程(TFT基板与CF基板贴合)及后段模组组装制程(驱动IC与印刷电路板压合)。其中,前段Array制程主要是形成TFT基板,以便于控制液晶分子的运动;中段Cell制程主要是在TFT基板与CF基板之间添加液晶;后段模组组装制程主要是驱动IC压合与印刷电路板的整合,进而驱动液晶分子转动,显示图像。
目前的液晶显示器均具有一定宽度的外边框,覆盖液晶显示 面板的周围表面,因此在外观上会有显示器的显示面积缩小的视觉感受。为了在相同显示器尺寸下提高显示面积,液晶显示装置无边框(bezel less)设计已将成为当今显示技术的发展的重要趋势,相比传统结构,无边框液晶显示装置整机、模组去除了非绑定(bonding)侧的前框,使液晶显示面板(panel)直接裸露在外,实现整面一体化的视觉效果。
由于没有前框遮挡,背光模组发出的光经过多次反射/折射会从液晶显示面板边缘投射出来,导致边缘漏光问题,并且为了规避膜层剥离(peeling)风险,现有的液晶显示面板通常采用CF基板相对TFT基板内缩的设计,这一设计进一步恶化了边缘漏光。
技术问题
本发明的目的在于提供一种液晶显示面板,能够解决无边框液晶显示装置的边缘漏光问题,提升显示品质。
本发明的目的还在于提供一种液晶显示面板的制作方法,能够解决无边框液晶显示装置的边缘漏光问题,提升显示品质,且不增加制作成本。
本发明的目的还在于提供一种无边框液晶显示装置,能够避免边缘漏光,提升显示品质。
技术解决方案
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种液晶显示面板,包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;
所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;
所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;

步骤S2、沿所述第二区域远离第一区域的一侧边缘设置第一切割线,沿所述第四区域远离第三区域的一侧边缘设置第二切割线,所述金属遮光部远离第一区域的一侧边缘超出所述第一切割线;
步骤S3、沿所述第一切割线及第二切割线对所述液晶显示母板进行切割,得到数个液晶显示面板;
步骤S4、分别沿预设的第一切割线及第二切割线切割所述液晶显示母板,得到数个液晶显示面板;切割后,各个液晶显示面板中的金属遮光部超出所述第一切割线的部分被去除,剩余的金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方。
所述步骤S2中,所述金属遮光部远离第一区域的一侧边缘及靠近第一区域的一侧边缘与第一切割线之间的距离均大于100um。
所述金属遮光部为浮空状态。
所述金属遮光部接入液晶显示面板的公共电压。
所述金属遮光部为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜或网状金属薄膜。
本发明提供一种无边框液晶显示装置,包括上述的液晶显示面板。
有益效果
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供一种液晶显示面板及其制作方法与无边框液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示面板包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;所述金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方,通过增设金属遮光部,能够解决无边框液晶显示装置的边缘漏光问题,提升显示品质。

本发明的最佳实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图1,本发明提供一种液晶显示面板,包括阵列基板1、与所述阵列基板1相对设置的对置基板2及位于阵列基板1与对置基板2之间液晶层3;
所述阵列基板1包括被对置基板2覆盖的第一区域11及位于第一区域11外侧的第二区域12;所述对置基板2包括第三区域21及包围所述第三区域21的第四区域22;
所述第四区域22朝向阵列基板1的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵31,所述阵列基板1朝向对置基板2的一侧设有金属遮光部32;
所述金属遮光部32覆盖所述第二区域12及与第二区域12相邻的部分第一区域11,且所述金属遮光部32靠近所述第一区域11的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵31下方。
具体地,所述金属遮光部32的接电状态可以根据产品的实际需求进行设置,在本发明的一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为不接任何电压的浮空(Floating)状态,在本发明的另一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32接入液晶显示面板的公共电压(VCom)。
具体地,如图3及图4所示,所述金属遮光部32的形状可以根据需要进行选择,如图3所示,在本发明的一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜,如图4所示,在本发明的另一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为网状金属薄膜,其中平板状金属薄膜的遮光效果优于网状金属薄膜。
具体地,在本发明的优选实施例中,所述对置基板2为彩膜基板,其上还设有彩色滤光层。
进一步地,所述阵列基板1具体包括衬底、设于衬底上的用于形成薄膜晶体管栅极及栅极线的第一金属层、设于所述第一金属层上的栅极绝缘层、设于所述栅极绝缘层上的半导体层、设于所述栅极绝缘层及半导体层上的用于形成薄膜晶体管的源极、漏极及源极线的第二金属层、设于所述第二金属层上的钝化层及设于钝化层上的像素电极。根据产品的需要,所述金属遮光部32可以位于第一金属层或第二金属层,当金属遮光部32位于第一金属层时,其与栅极及栅极线通过一道图案化工艺同时形成,当金属遮光部32位于第二金属层时,其与源极、漏极及源极线通过一道图案化工艺同时形成,也即是说,本发明的金属遮光部32的形成无需增加额外的图案化工艺,仅需要改变第一金属层及第二金属层的图案即可,不会增加额外的工序及人力成本。
需要说明的是,本发明的液晶显示面板主要应用于无边框的液晶显示装置,应用时,由于金属遮光部32的遮挡,当光线要从阵列基板1的第二区域12射出时,金属遮光部32会反射该光线,阻止其射出,且金属遮光部32延伸至黑色矩阵31的下方,与黑色矩阵32配合有效保证光线的遮光效果,避免边缘漏光,提升显示品质。
请参阅图5,本发明还提供一种液晶显示面板的制作方法,包括如下步骤:
步骤S1、如图2至图4所示,提供液晶显示母板,所述液晶显示母板包括间隔排列的多个液晶显示面板;
每一个液晶显示面板均包括阵列基板1、与所述阵列基板1相对设置的对置基板2及位于阵列基板1与对置基板2之间液晶层3;所述阵列基板1包括被对置基板2覆盖的第一区域11及位于第一区域11外侧的第二区域12;所述对置基板2包括第三区域21及包围所述第三区域21的第四区域22;
所述第四区域22朝向阵列基板1的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵31,所述阵列基板1朝向对置基板2的一侧设有金属遮光部32;
步骤S2、沿所述第二区域12远离第一区域11的一侧边缘设置第一切割线CL1,沿所述第四区域22远离第三区域21的一侧边缘设置第二切割线CL2,所述金属遮光部32远离第一区域11的一侧边缘超出所述第一切割线CL1。
步骤S3、沿所述第一切割线及第二切割线对所述液晶显示母板进行切割,得到数个液晶显示面板;
步骤S4、分别沿预设的第一切割线及第二切割线切割所述液晶显示母板,得到数个液晶显示面板;切割后,各个液晶显示面板中的金属遮光部32超出所述第一切割线CL1的部分被去除,剩余的金属遮光部32覆盖所述第二区域12及与第二区域12相邻的部分第一区域11,且所述金属遮光部32靠近所述第一区域11的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵31下方。
具体地,结合图2至图4,在切割前,即所述步骤S2中,所述金属遮光部32远离第一区域11的一侧边缘及靠近第一区域11的一侧边缘与第一切割线CL1之间的距离均大于100um,能够保证确保在切割制程公差内金属遮光部32也可以产生遮挡作用。
具体地,所述金属遮光部32的接电状态可以根据产品的实际需求进行设置,在本发明的一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为不接任何电压的浮空(Floating)状态,在本发明的另一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32接入液晶显示面板的公共电压(VCom),在本发明的又一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32还可以在切割前作为外部线路使用,在切割后浮空。
具体地,所述金属遮光部32的形状可以根据需要进行选择,如图3所示,在本发明的一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜,如图4所示,在本发明的另一些实施例中,所述金属遮光部32可以为网状金属薄膜,其中平板状金属薄膜的遮光效果优于网状金属薄膜。
具体地,在本发明的优选实施例中,所述对置基板2为彩膜基板,其上还设有彩色滤光层。
进一步地,所述阵列基板1具体包括衬底、设于衬底上的用于形成薄膜晶体管栅极及栅极线的第一金属层、设于所述第一金属层上的栅极绝缘层、设于所述栅极绝缘层上的半导体层、设于所述栅极绝缘层及半导体层上的用于形成薄膜晶体管的源极、漏极及源极线的第二金属层、设于所述第二金属层上的钝化层及设于钝化层上的像素电极。根据产品的需要,所述金属遮光部32可以位于第一金属层或第二金属层,当金属遮光部32位于第一金属层时,其与栅极及栅极线通过一道图案化工艺同时形成,当金属遮光部32位于第二金属层时,其与源极、漏极及源极线通过一道图案化工艺同时形成,也即是说,本发明的金属遮光部32的形成无需增加额外的图案化工艺,仅需要改变第一金属层及第二金属层的图案即可,不会增加额外的工序及人力成本。
需要说明的是,结合图6,本发明的液晶显示面板主要应用于无边框的液晶显示装置,应用时,由于金属遮光部32的遮挡,当光线要从阵列基板1的第二区域12射出时,金属遮光部32会反射该光线,阻止其射出,且金属遮光部32延伸至黑色矩阵31的下方,与黑色矩阵32配合有效保证光线的遮光效果,避免边缘漏光,提升显示品质。
请参阅图6,一种无边框液晶显示装置,包括上述的液晶显示面板。
进一步地,如图6所示,所述无边框液晶显示装置还包括设于所述阵列基板1远离所述对置基板2的一侧的背光模组4,由于金属遮光部32的遮挡,背光模组4发出光线要从阵列基板1的第二区域12射出时,金属遮光部32会反射该光线,阻止其射出,且金属遮光部32延伸至黑色矩阵31的下方,与黑色矩阵32配合有效保证光线的遮光效果,避免边缘漏光,提升显示品质。
综上所述,本发明提供一种液晶显示面板及其制作方法与无边框液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示面板包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;所述金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方,通过增设金属遮光部,能够解决无边框液晶显示装置的边缘漏光问题,提升显示品质。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (13)

  1. 一种液晶显示面板,包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;
    所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;
    所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;
    所述金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的液晶显示面板,其中,所述金属遮光部为浮空状态。
  3. 如权利要求1所述的液晶显示面板,其中,所述金属遮光部接入液晶显示面板的公共电压。
  4. 如权利要求1所述的液晶显示面板,其中,所述金属遮光部为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜或网状金属薄膜。
  5. 一种液晶显示面板的制作方法,包括如下步骤:
    步骤S1、提供液晶显示母板,所述液晶显示母板包括间隔排列的多个液晶显示面板;
    每一个液晶显示面板均包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;
    所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;
    步骤S2、沿所述第二区域远离第一区域的一侧边缘设置第一切割线,沿所述第四区域远离第三区域的一侧边缘设置第二切割线,所述金属遮光部远离第一区域的一侧边缘超出所述第一切割线;
    步骤S3、沿所述第一切割线及第二切割线对所述液晶显示母板进行切割,得到数个液晶显示面板;
    步骤S4、分别沿预设的第一切割线及第二切割线切割所述液晶显示母板,得到数个液晶显示面板;切割后,各个液晶显示面板中的金属遮光部超出所述第一切割线的部分被去除,剩余的金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方。
  6. 如权利要求5所述的液晶显示面板的制作方法,其中,所述步骤S2中,所述金属遮光部远离第一区域的一侧边缘及靠近第一区域的一侧边缘与第一切割线之间的距离均大于100um。
  7. 如权利要求5所述的液晶显示面板的制作方法,其中,所述金属遮光部为浮空状态。
  8. 如权利要求5所述的液晶显示面板的制作方法,其中,所述金属遮光部接入液晶显示面板的公共电压。
  9. 如权利要求5所述的液晶显示面板的制作方法,其中,所述金属遮光部为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜或网状金属薄膜。
  10. 一种无边框液晶显示装置,包括液晶显示面板;
    所述液晶显示面板包括阵列基板、与所述阵列基板相对设置的对置基板及位于阵列基板与对置基板之间液晶层;
    所述阵列基板包括被对置基板覆盖的第一区域及位于第一区域外侧的第二区域;所述对置基板包括第三区域及包围所述第三区域的第四区域;
    所述第四区域朝向阵列基板的一侧覆盖有黑色矩阵,所述阵列基板朝向对置基板的一侧设有金属遮光部;
    所述金属遮光部覆盖所述第二区域及与第二区域相邻的部分第一区域,且所述金属遮光部靠近所述第一区域的一侧边缘位于所述黑色矩阵下方。
  11. 如权利要求10所述的无边框液晶显示装置,其中,所述金属遮光部为浮空状态。
  12. 如权利要求10所述的无边框液晶显示装置,其中,所述金属遮光部接入液晶显示面板的公共电压。
  13. 如权利要求10所述的无边框液晶显示装置,其中,所述金属遮光部为连接不间断的平板状金属薄膜或网状金属薄膜。
